Two days later, Kiera was back to normal. She had been nursed back to health by Felix and Chan. No matter how much she didn't want to drink the Pepto Bismol, Chan always talked her into drinking it along with taking a few fever reducing pills. Felix had been making sure she was eating and forced her to take a few sips of water and Gatorade every hour.

She swore she caught Chan looking at her far more than usual, but she brushed it off. Surely, she was imagining things. The conversation with Felix days prior only caused her small crush to grow. It was easy to brush aside her feelings when she previously hated Chan. He helped coax her back to health and now it was difficult.

Since the two of them talked about their families, she felt closer to him. It was easy to see why he was the way he was. When they first met, she couldn't understand his viewpoint. Why would he go after people? Why would he form a team that tracked, tortured, exposed, and sometimes killed people? Now she understood it perfectly.

She became used to the routine at the Bella-Nova. Felix and her spent their days hanging out. She felt lousy from the food poisoning, but Felix was there to keep her company. The two of them watched TV and she learned more about the members. Felix even let her play with his Nintendo Switch.

The rest of the members filtered in and out of the area at random. She never knew who might show up and when. Chan had been recently alerted of a state governor that possibly had something to do with a handful of similar murders in the state. Because of that, he hadn't been around much.

Felix took his time explaining the groups' attempt to dig up more information. One of Changbin's fellow hit-men sent him an email about it. Apparently, a man he was hired to kill was in on it. Willie Campbell wasn't the only politician that had access to hiring hit-men.

A door opening caused Kiera to glance up from her position on the couch. Felix was showing her his favorite TV show. The two of them were watching it and occasionally making small talk.

"Ew, it smells like shit in here." Seungmin's voice came out loud and clear. He made his way into the living room and glanced down at Kiera. His nose scrunched up in disgust. "Never mind, it turns out it's just you."

Kiera rolled her eyes, "fuck off."

Felix snorted which caused Kiera to glare over at him. He mumbled an apology and took his attention back to the television. I.N popped up behind Seungmin, walked around him, and plopped down on the couch beside Kiera.

"Oh thank god, you saved me." Seungmin walked to the other side of the couch and sat down. "Now I don't have to sit by trash."

"I swear I'll kill you," Kiera grumbled.

His voice filled with sarcasm. "I'd like to see you try, sweetheart. Anyway, which one of you has the TV remote?"

Felix held up the stick from his bean bag. Seungmin reached over and snatched it from him. "I'll be taking this, thank you very much. I'm exhausted. You have no idea how boring it is to go through multiple emails from politicians. I haven't had food yet and I believe a new episode of my show will be on in a few minutes."

"But we were wat-"

"Not anymore," Seungmin cut Felix off. He shut off the streaming service Kiera and Felix were using and switched back to cable. He pressed a remote button and flipped through multiple channels.

Kiera wanted to lecture Seungmin, but she knew it'd lead to a fight. The two of them hadn't gotten along at all. Kiera learned to merely tolerate Changbin, but Seungmin was a completely different story. Her gaze darted to Felix. His lips stuck out in a pout and he clutched his wolf plushie tighter to his chest.
