Kiera never texted Chan the next day. The anxiety he faced was worse. Kiera told him her father forced her to take medicine and she didn't know what it was. She didn't know the effects it'd have on her. He burnt holes into the flip phone as he stared and waited for something to happen, but it never did.
That evening, he decided his plan was a go. Felix, Han, and Hyunjin were still alive and Kiera was alive, but possibly out of it from the medicine. They needed to get in before anything became worse. The longer they waited, the more risks they could face.
That evening, he dropped a box on one of the inn's beds and forced the guys to meet him in the room. Every bedroom in the inn was a smaller size. The place didn't have the best reviews. The faded peach wallpaper in some of the rooms was peeling. There were hard water stains in the showers.
The rooms the guys got each had a stale scent. Some parts of the carpet had discolored spots. Nobody knew what caused them and nobody wanted to know. It was hard to believe this place was still open and operating.
"What's in the box?" Lee Know asked.
Chan jerked the flaps open and yanked out two latex heads. The rubbery material drooped and the facial features morphed together. Hair was sewn into the top of the masks.
"Hey, aren't those the masks Han and I used when going undercover?"
"Oh, I forgot about that. It's been such a long time ago, I forgot you two snuck into the white house." I.N reached out and grabbed the rubber mask. He gently squeezed the face and then held it up to the light. "It's creepy how realistic these things look on people. Anyone could be walking around in one and you'd have no idea."
"One of you is coming with me into the white house. This guy," he held up the face he had, "is on the muscular side. I'm going to pretend to be him, but the other guy is on the leaner and shorter side."
"Count me out," Changbin announced. "I might be short, but I'm not lean." He held up his biceps. "Get a load of these bad boys." His arms curled up as he flexed his muscles.
"I don't think I should go either. You're going to need someone smart on the outside in case you get trapped," Lee Know added.
"Hey!"
Lee Know held up his hands innocently. "I'm just saying that if I was you, I wouldn't want Changbin to be the one operating single-handedly on the outside."
"I vote I.N," Seungmin blurted.
"Of course you do," I.N grumbled.
"Have you heard the things I say? If I get caught, I'd get us killed immediately. I already have limited respect for the elderly. Those old farts in there are far from innocent and you want me to sweet talk my way out of being captured? Nuh-uh. I'm calling them out on their bullshit. Somehow, I think I'd get us killed faster."
"You make a good point."
"I always do."
"Fine, I guess I'll go. How are we getting in? I think they'd know if there were two pairs of the same guys walking around."
"There's a mole inside the building," Chan announced. "Actually there's multiple moles inside the building."
"Woah, wait. If there's multiple moles in the building, why can't they get everyone out?" Seungmin crossed his arms over his chest.
"If they get caught, they lose everything. Some of those workers have been there for years. It's too big of a risk."
"They're a bunch of fucking cowards!"
"They have families!" Chan countered. "They're already doing a lot. They've been keeping an eye on Kiera."
"What about the others?"
"They're unaware of them. None of the secret service members know anything. Lucas and Willie have been keeping everything hidden."
"Enough," Lee Know stepped in. "Chan, you said the two of you are going to sneak in. How exactly are you going to do that?"
"The two guys we're impersonating are best friends. Apparently, they take turns driving each other to work. Every other day, they switch. Someone gave me the route they take to work tomorrow evening. They work the night shift."
"And?"
"We're going to jump them on their way to work. You three can kidnap them while I.N and I take their car. We'll drive to the white house and pretend to be them. The two of them are on Kiera watching duty tomorrow night. We'll just have to dispose of the third guard."
"You can't be fucking serious. They're having three secret service agents watching one woman?" Seungmin scoffed.
Chan shrugged, "they made the plans, not me. After that, we'll need you three to be around the white house. I'll text you when we're ready. We need to purchase a ladder and it'd be best to rent out a van. After all, there'll be nine of us."
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" I.N scratched the back of his neck.
"Do you have something better?"
"We know how to get Kiera, but what about the other three guys?"
"Kiera can lead us to them."
"And if she can't?"
"Then I'll call one of my moles and find the way there myself. Speaking of those three, we need to figure out a way to uncuff the guys. Kiera said they're all handcuffed."
"I can do that!" I.N grinned. "Lock-picking is one of my specialties. I'll bring my lock-picking kit."
"And bring some of your bombs."
"My bombs?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Like Kiera said, you'll never know when you'll need to blow a bitch up."
