Last words of a shooting star

Going to a hospital was a high risk and nobody wanted to take it. Once upon a time, Chan told the guys that if there was an emergency situation, never take him to the hospital. He was legally dead and if anyone found out, he'd be in trouble.

On the other hand, Kiera Campbell was now a well-known name. Who knew what kind of chaos it'd cause if people found out that she was in a hospital. Now that her parents were dead and Philip was dead, she had nobody. Even her best friend was dead.

Changbin pulled onto the bumpy path that led to an abandoned warehouse he and Lee Know found earlier in the day. They moved a bunch of their things from the motel into this building just for tonight. Everyone scrambled quickly to get Kiera and Chan inside.

Lee Know knew basic first-aid, but he wasn't equipped for bullet wounds. Glancing between the couple he decided to go to Kiera first. The room was lit up by battery powered lanterns. Up above, a piece of plywood was missing from a patched hole in the roof. A full moon peaked through to watch.

Changbin set Kiera down carefully on the ground. Lee Know slipped on a pair of gloves and grabbed a pair of scissors. He began to carefully cut through the bottom of Kiera's shirt. If Chan woke up and found out Lee Know was helping him instead of Kiera, he'd lose it. The last thing Chan needed was added stress.

Right after Chan pressed the button on I.N's remote, someone fired their gun. The reaction caused others to shoot too. Before everyone was rocked by the blast, multiple bullets entered Chan and Kiera's bodies.

Kiera's gray t-shirt was filled with holes and heavy with blood. Lee Know cut the fabric all the way up to her collar bone. When he pulled the two pieces of fabric back, his face fell. He couldn't tell where the wounds ended and began.

Blood soaked her pale stomach. The bullets ripped through her skin and hit the wide variety of internal organs. With two fingers, he reached up to her neck to find her pulse. It took a while to find it and it was exactly how he was expecting it to be; shallow and faint.

"Why aren't you saving her?" Felix's voice cracked. Tears filled his soft brown eyes.

"I can't. There's too much blood and she's barely breathing. It's only a matter of time before she..." Lee Know trailed off.

"It's all my fault. I shouldn't have run away. I-I should have stayed in the house and I-" He was cut off by a sob.

Hyunjin grabbed Felix and pulled him into his chest. His long slender arms wrapped around him. One tightened around his back and the other began to softly run through his hair. His sobs became muffled from Hyunjin's shirt.

The distant sobs caused Kiera's eyes to slowly flutter open. Around her, the lights were snow white. The area was cooler and it wasn't nearly as warm as near the white house. Lee Know slowly leaned over Kiera trying not to startle her.

"Kiera, can you hear me?"

"Mmhm. Where's Chan?"

"He's right beside you."

"I want him."

Lee Know's eyes darted over to Chan's unconscious body. His secret service uniform was ripped in multiple places. "He's unconscious right now."

Kiera's arm shot out and reached over. Her hand brushed against his arm. Her hand slid up to his shoulder and she began to weakly shake him. Her stomach felt like it was on fire. All she wanted to do was to be held by Chan.

His name came out of her mouth quietly at first before she began to get louder. Lee Know wanted to stop her, but she was on her death-bed. There was no reason to deny her the love of her life.
