Kiera and Seungmin got into it after Seungmin complained about Kiera wasting his whiskey. All Felix and I.N could do was watch in silence. Out in the kitchen, Hyunjin was busy mixing different ingredients together.

"I'm going to tell Chan you're being a dick."

"I'll tell him you wasted my perfectly good whiskey."

"You act like I have cooties!"

"Girl cooties are the worst kind!"

"And this is why you don't have a girlfriend!"

"You fucking bitch, you take that back!"

"Make me, you fucking dick."

Hyunjin sighed, grabbed his two completed drinks, and went back into the living room. The crown of his black hair was tied back into a ponytail. "Would the two of you sit the fuck down on the couch and shut up?" Annoyance flooded through Hyunjin and, for once, he understood how Chan felt daily. No wonder Chan could get a little snappy, Hyunjin felt like he was going to scream.

Seungmin and Kiera glared at each other.

"I mean it. Both of you, sit the fuck down. Don't you dare make me call Chan."

Felix had scooted over on the side of the couch towards I.N. The move forced Kiera and Seungmin to sit side by side on the couch. Seungmin turned himself in the opposite direction. Kiera's hands made their way back over her chest. Both of them silently pouted, but listened to Hyunjin. The last thing they wanted was for Chan to show up and get mad at them.

Hyunjin handed a new glass of whiskey to Seungmin. He placed a champagne glass in Kiera's hand. The sweet scent of strawberries floated up from the top. It was nothing like the awful scent of whiskey. She glanced at the grapefruit colored mixture with a raised eyebrow.

"Drink up."

"What is this?"

"That is a freshly made strawberry mimosa. You can't say you don't like it because it's made with fresh strawberries and orange juice. I've seen you consumed both of those and you said you've drank champagne before. There's some champagne in there too."

"Are you sure you should be giving me alcohol to drink?"

"Don't you want to relax for a while? Nothing bad is going to happen to you. We'll all be here if you need something, okay?"

Kiera nodded and took a sip of the drink. Her eyes lit up as she pulled the glass away. "Oh, wow."

"Like it?" Hyunjin asked with amusement.

"I love it."

She quickly chugged the drink. Felix placed a hand over his mouth to hide the smile that grew behind it. I.N let out a laugh. "Kiera, I think it's supposed to be leisurely sipped."

"Who cares?"

"Typical white woman," Seungmin mumbled.

"What did you just say?" Kiera glared.

Hyunjin plucked the glass from Kiera's fingers. "How about another one, hmm? I made a big batch, so you're welcome to have as much as you wish."

"Really?" Kiera perked up.

"Really."

As time kept going, soon everyone found themselves with a glass of alcohol besides Felix. Felix had gotten drunk one time and that was one time too many. It felt good until the next morning. He truly thought he was going to die from the hangover. Since that day, he hadn't bothered touching any form of alcohol. The lingering hangover wasn't worth it in his eyes.

Hyunjin and Kiera kept refilling their champagne glasses with strawberry mimosas. I.N asked Seungmin if he could have some of his whiskey and Seungmin was fine with sharing the bottle as long as I.N didn't drink it all. The five of them fell into casual conversation.

Soon the anger in Kiera's body dissipated. It was replaced with a drunken giddiness. Seungmin's usual disdain for Kiera turned into amusement. It took a lot for Seungmin to get plastered. Only two drinks in, he was merely a little buzzed.

At some point, Kiera ended up on the floor and Hyunjin laid on top of her. Felix cut them off from their mimosas by the time they each reached five. The two of them kept giggling about random things. Seungmin kept nudging Kiera's bare calf with the tip of his big toe. She kept kicking air and whining for him to stop.

"So how does everyone feel?" Felix spoke up.

"Delightful."

"I need another glass of whiskey."

"I want another mimosa."

"Am I going to die?" Kiera's words caught everyone off guard.

"What?" Seungmin was the first to speak.

Kiera closed her eyes and let out a laugh. Hyunjin's arms wrapped around her body tighter. He was clingy when he was drunk. "Kiera, we're not gonna letcha die."

"Why would you die?" Seungmin asked.

"I feel so funny."

"That would be due to all the champagne you drank," I.N pointed out.

"I feel like I could fly."

"Don't even think about trying." Felix frowned and crossed his arms over his chest. "Hyunjin tried that once when he had too many shots of tequila. He ended up in the emergency room and had to get stitches."

Hyunjin busted into a fit of giggles and Seungmin rolled his eyes. "The two of you definitely don't need anymore alcohol at all. Who knew you could get so wasted from mimosas."

"I think I've had seven," Hyunjin grinned.

"Nuh-uh, you've had five," Felix corrected him.

"I chugged some straight from the jug."

"What the hell?"

Hyunjin let out another giggle. Kiera's eyes found the ceiling. The whole room seemed to sway briefly before it came to a stop. "Do you guys ever think about dying?"

A chorus of no's filled the air.

"Why would we think about dying? That's depressing. We'll die when we die and that's all there is to it. Why would we ponder our deaths?" Seungmin stared at Kiera wondering if she was okay deep down. Alcohol could easily bring your inner demons to the surface. Should they be worried?

"I'm just curious, that's all. I think about death a lot, it's one of my biggest fears."

"Why is it a big fear of yours?" Felix slipped off the couch and plopped down beside Kiera's head. He began to gently play with the short ends of Kiera's hair.

"I'm really afraid I'll die alone," she frowned. "I don't wanna die alone. I wanna go with someone, so we can experience the end together."

"Oh," Hyunjin's eyes lit up. "I really like that. I don't wanna die alone either."

"You know, now that you say that, you make a good point. It must be scary dying alone. Where do you end up?" I.N wondered out loud.

"Heaven or hell?"

"I think it's reincarnation."

"We just stop existing and it's nothing."

"Kiera," Felix poked her cheek softly, "what do you think happens at the end of life?"

"I don't know," she admitted after a few seconds, "but I'm afraid to find out."
