Stranger danger

Before the man knew what was happening, his knees buckled and they hit the ground hard. A grunt of pain flew from his mouth. Another kick to his back caused him to sprawl forward. He pushed his hands out to stop himself, but it wasn't enough as a boot flew into his ribcage. His hands protectively flew towards his ribs to coddle them.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

The man turned over and came face to face with a man looming above him. His fox-like eyes narrowed down at him. Without mercy, the man lifted up his steel-toed black boot again.

"I'm just looking, I swear!" The man cowered on the ground with his hands above his head. With his back pressed into the shortened green grass, he stumbled through his words. "I-I was just um I've never s-seen this place and I-"

"Spit it out!" I.N hissed.

"I was curious!"

"Did you miss the signs that said private property?"

"Well, I-" Another boot slammed into the side of his ribcage. "I ignored them!" His thin lips parted as he gasped for fresh oxygen while his emerald eyes squeezed shut in pain. "I-I just wanted to look, that's all!"

I.N's eyes never left the man's body. "For some reason, I don't believe you. What were you doing? Curious, you say? That's funny, what's this?" He bent down to grab a small black leather pouch. When he unzipped it, he held it up to the man to reveal lock-picking tools. "Curiosity killed the cat."

The man tried to get up, but I.N's boot flying through the air left him back on a crumpled heap in the ground. He groaned with an arm clutched over his stomach. "What the fuck was that for?"

Footsteps behind him caused I.N to spin around. His posture relaxed when he made eye contact with Han. Han glanced down at the man and raised an eyebrow. I.N shrugged and turned back to the man.

"I'll just go now," the man spoke up. "I'm sorry for being nosy, I'll just go and I won't bother you again, I swear."

When Han looked down and began to study the man's familiar face, he froze. I.N caught Han's response and looked over. "Do you know this guy?"

"This is one of Willie's secret service members. When Lee Know and I snuck into the white house, we had those latex masks, remember? You're the member I was wearing a mask of." Han's eyes widened in slight shock.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about."

Sensing his weakness, I.N took a step forward. "Don't play fucking stupid. If you want to get out of this alive, you better get up. Try something and I won't hesitate to put a bullet through your brain."

The man gulped and shakily pushed himself to his feet. His ribcage objected in pain, but he forced himself up anyway. I.N gestured for Han to go ahead and lead the way inside. Han headed to the back door with a silver key in his hand. I.N gripped a handful of the man's shirt fabric from his shoulder.

The man winced, but he didn't object. Once Han led the way inside, he locked the door shut behind them. I.N shoved the man forward. "Keep walking straight until I say stop."

The man's eyes darted around the area while they walked. Bright colored sports cars lined the area. Two Kawasaki Ninjas were parked over in a far corner. The man didn't have time to see everything because I.N quickened his pace.

Their footsteps echoed through the vacant halls. The man swallowed and bit down on the inside of his cheek. His knees felt ready to buckle again at any moment. He had one goal and he wasn't supposed to get caught by anyone. If these men didn't kill him, his group was going to.

"Open that door to your left."

The man did as he was told. The square room held a table and a few chairs on each side. He glanced over and caught a glimpse of a security camera. He squeezed his eyes shut. Of course, video cameras. They probably had them everywhere. How could his group be so fucking stupid?

I.N shoved the man inside and turned to face Han.  "Call Chan. Tell him he needs to get down here right now. Code red the group if you have to. He needs to be here as soon as possible."

"But what about Felix?" Worry flooded Han's face.

"We'll find him."

Hearing the name, the man couldn't help himself. A loud snicker filled the air as he slightly shook his head. Felix was on his way to the white house. He'd be arriving a few hours later and be warmly welcomed by the president.

His snicker caused Han and I.N's heads to snap toward him. Anger bubbled up inside I.N. The snicker gave away everything he needed to know. He took steps towards the man. "What do you know?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

I.N's fist swung. An uppercut flew towards the man's face and caught him in the nose. He let out a cry as a small crack filled the air. His hands clutched his nose. He stumbled back and landed on the table. Blood gushed out his nostrils and trickled down his lips.

"I don't have time for your stupid fucking games. If you know something about Felix, tell us."

"You'll never find him!" The man spat. "Felix is gone! Far, far, far away from Chicago!"

Before I.N could respond, Han stepped forward. His arm shot out and his fingers dug into the sides of the man's neck. The man tried to shove him off. Blood smeared over Han's arm, but Han didn't pull away. His eyes were dark as he loomed down at the man.

I.N watched the scene unfold in shock. Han's sharp nails dug further into his tender flesh. He didn't care if his nails skewered the man's neck. He wanted answers and he wanted them now. "If you laid a hand on Felix, you better speak up now or so help me, I will gut you like a fish."

"I will slice you open from your collar bone down to your pubic bone and I will fillet you open. I will disembowel you and force you to watch as you bleed out. After that, I'll send your rotting corpse via FedEx first class mail directly to your wife's house. I'll send her a sorry for your loss card and sign it with your blood."

The man's eyes widened. A strangled sound came from the back of his neck. Showing zero mercy, Han squeezed tighter. Tears pricked in the man's eyes again.

"So what will it be? Are you going to tell us where Felix is?"

The man's head bobbled frantically. With a final squeeze, Han jerked his hand back. "Then enlighten us, where is he?"

"Washington!" The man gasped for air. He coughed and sputtered a few times before he continued. "They're taking him to DC to meet with Willie. I swear, that's all I know!"

Han turned to a speechless I.N. The two made eye contact and Han shrugged. I.N shook his head as he pulled out his cell phone.

With a final look to the man, who was rubbing his neck, he dialed Chan's phone number.
