When I.N and Felix arrived back at the house, Kiera was discussing the next video she planned on making with Chan. There was debate if Kiera should make a full video on Beverly or not. Kiera explained she could tie the two together in a video about her father. Their conversation stopped when the front door slammed open.

A mixed laughter between I.N and Felix caused the two of them to look up from the couch. Kiera's eyes widened when she saw the bags they were holding. Paper bags with luxury brand logos stamped across the front. Articles of clothing peeking out over the top. Plastic Walmart bags with plastic stretched so thin, the objects were ready to break the film, and fall to the floor.

A lollipop sat perched in the corner of Felix's mouth. "We got all the stuff for your makeover!" A grin spread across his face.

"Wait, I thought we said pierced ears and hair dye. What is all of this?" Guilt consumed Kiera. This was far too much. Even the pierced ears and hair dye was asking a lot. She didn't think they'd go to such extreme lengths.

From behind her spot on the couch, Chan wrapped a reassuring arm around her waist. His breath was warm on her neck. "Don't worry, I told them to go overboard. I trust their opinions. If you don't like what they bought, they can take it back to get a refund."

"Babe, I don't think w-"

"Babe?" Felix's blue eyes widened. "You're calling Channie babe now?"

"Pup," Chan's voice served as a warning.

"It's so cute!" Felix cooed, shifted the bags, and his hands clapped together. "Both of you are so cute!"

A faint blush filled Kiera's cheeks. Chan rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Did you spend all of my money?"

I.N shook his head. With a quick gesture, he let the bags fall to the ground. A few of them opened, Kiera's curiosity grew. She leaned closer to get a better view until Felix stepped in front of them. "Stop peeking, you'll get to know soon enough."

I.N pulled his leather wallet from his back pocket. The wad of cash Chan originally gave him diminished from its original shape, but there were still quite a few bills left. He handed the money to Chan. As his hand passed around Kiera's face, she caught a glimpse of the hundred dollar bills. "Wait, how much did you spend?"

"We spe-"

"More than enough," Chan cut Felix off. "Don't worry about it. I told you earlier money wasn't an issue."

Kiera nodded, but it still didn't feel right. Back at her house, her parents bought her nearly everything she owned. When they were in a good mood, they'd let her buy her own items. She wasn't used to anyone spending so much on her. Her parents were her parents and Chan was her boyfriend. There was a big difference between the two.

"So what are we waiting for?" I.N asked. He looped his arms back through the bags and picked them up. Behind him, Felix was nearly bouncing on the balls of his feet. He was excited for Kiera to experience such a big change.

Chan inched forward and placed a warm kiss against Kiera's cheek. "Go on and have some fun. Let I.N work his magic on you, you're going to look amazing when you're finished. If you're up for it, I'll pierce your ears later."

Kiera nodded again and Chan pulled himself away from her. With a final squeeze of his hand, he let Felix and I.N lead her away. He watched the pair drag her down the dark hall and pull her into I.N's room. Since Kiera's arrival, Chan ordered everyone to keep the blinds closed. The last thing they needed was a snoopy neighbor seeing her and making a phone call to the Chicago police department.

His body sunk back into the side of the couch. The next video was going to be a big one. The video he wanted to put out in the very beginning. The downfall of Willie Campbell. Let Kiera expose the man behind the mask. Rip away the flesh and society see who he truly was; a skin suit full of flies. Rotten straight to the bone. Filled with soured marrow and tart poison.

Chan was built the same way, but at least he wasn't a coward. He took his anger and displeasure out on the people who deserved it. Willie's wrath was taken out on the two people he should have loved the most. The man had his head screwed on backwards since birth.

Just thinking about it caused anger to ripple through Chan. His heart beat a little harder in his chest. His cortisol levels began to rise. With a sigh, he closed his eyes and focused on Kiera. Lately, he used her to come back to reality.

Whenever things got too rough, he pictured her laughter. The way she began to smile before she leaned back and let out a full belly laugh. Just as Hyunjin did, sometimes she'd clap her hands together before the melody left her mouth. Chan reopened his eyes at the sound of footsteps. Glancing over, his eyes caught Lee Know's.

"In lala land?" An amused grin stretched across his face.

"Shut up," Chan grumbled.

"Don't worry," Lee Know patted his shoulder. He stepped around the side of the couch. Snatching the TV remote off the side table, he plopped down on the opposite edge. "It's nice to see you in such a good mood."

"Don't push it."

"I'm being serious, Chan. Kiera does something to you that none of us have ever seen before. You're a little lighter when she's around. You get this glow on your face and it's nice." He reached up to turn on the TV.

A glow on my face?

Chan shook his head; he really was turning into a sap.
