started as a lie

the next day i was woken by leah trying to slip out from underneath me.

"i'm sorry for waking you i just need to use the bathroom" she said. i rolled off her, still half asleep and curled into the corner of the bed.

after a couple of minutes, she came back and climbed back into bed. she came right up to me and put her arm around me, pulling me backwards into her body and fell back asleep.

after a while, the door opened and someone came in. i turned my head and saw lisa walking into my room.

"can i help you?" i asked sarcastically.

"just looking for my trainers. i left a pair here last time i visited but i can't seem to find them. you haven't seen them by any chance have you?" she asked.

"no" i said. i definitely have seen them. i decided to 'borrow' them and ended up taking them to london with me when i went.

she looked around my room, clearly not believing me. after she found nothing, she left.

"morning love" leah said after a while.

"morning le" i said while turning to face her. i moved a strand of hair from her face and looked into her eyes.

her eyes are beautiful. how have i never noticed that before?

i knew that leah was pretty but i never knew she looked this good. how does she look so flawless, especially after just waking up.

she has the cutest smile.

"it's 10 we should probably get up" i said.

"five more minutes" leah said, grabbing my waist and pulling me on top of her.

"no come on leah. we have to do something today instead of just sitting around" i said putting my hands at her cheeks.

"ugh fine" she said and let go. i got up and went to the bathroom to get ready.

i got dressed and then we went down for breakfast.

"morning girls, sleep well?" my mum said.
"yeah actually, i've missed this bed, my bed in london isn't as comfy" i said.

"you two looked very cosy in bed last night" she said.

i looked at leah and mouthed 'i told you'
leah laughed slightly and i shook my head. my mum is so nosey.

we ate breakfast and then planned to go to town.

we got in the car and my mum drove us all into town. we walked around and looked in some different shops.

i bought some clothes from different places and i got my mum a new bag.

while we were walking, leah took my bags off me and held my hand with her other hand. i looked at her and smiled.

she's really so sweet.

after we were done shopping, we went back home. i put my things away and went back downstairs.

"right girls, i've booked a table for dinner at 6 so dress fancy" my mum said.

"i'm going to have a shower then" i said and got up to go.

i showered and went to my room to get ready.

i stayed in my towel while i got out my outfit to iron. leah walked in.

"oh sorry i thought you would be in the bathroom still" she said.

"it's fine come in" i said, stopping her from leaving. she put her phone on charge and then went to the bathroom.
