today i started to pack my things to go to ireland.

i put a bunch of clothes in my suitcase as well as my perfumes, some shoes, jewellery and a couple of other essentials.

sophia came in and sat on my bed.

"have you packed everything?" she asked.

"yep" i nodded. then she started listing things.

after she listed everything, she left the room and i got ready for bed. i'm flying out tomorrow and i'm quite nervous. i've never flown on my own before so this is a completely new experience.

the next morning, i woke up and got myself ready. i was a bit tired in the morning but once i realised i would get to see lauryn in the next few hours i shot out of bed.

once i was ready, i went downstairs and left my suitcase by the door.

i put myself some breakfast in and sat at the table.

a sleepy leah and sophia came downstairs and made themselves breakfast.

"how you feeling sweetheart" leah asked

"excited but nervous. i've never flown alone before. and im scared to meet her family. what if they don't like me?" i said.

"oh darling they will like you. you'll be okay." sophia said.

after we ate, i said goodbye to simba and we went to the airport.

i checked my bag in and walked with leah and sophia.

"sweetheart this is as far as we can come with you. have a safe flight and message us as soon as you land" leah said and hugged me.

"we love you so so much. have a good time and keep us updated" sophia said, joining the hug.

"i love you both" i said.

i went to my gate and waited for my plane.

as my flight got called i sent a quick text to leah and sophia.

me: hi my flight is boarding now. i'll message you when i land x

sophia: love you darling x

the plane took off and i was kind of scared at first.

the old lady sat next to me was very sweet.

"you seem quite young to be flying alone how old are you" she said.

"im 16" i said.

"how come your flying alone" she asked.

"i'm visiting ireland to see my girlfriend. my parents have work so they couldn't come with me." i said.

"that's very sweet dear" she said.

we had a little chat and soon the plane landed.

"it was lovely speaking to you" she said.

"you too" i smiled.

i sent a text to leah and sophia and then to sharon to let them know i've arrived.

me: hey sharon i've arrived in ireland. i'm just getting my bags and then i'll head towards the exit and meet you.

sharon: hi darling, i'm waiting in arrivals for you

me: okay i'll be there shortly

i found my bag and then went through to arrivals to find sharon. i spotted her and went towards her.

"hiya darling" she said and hugged me.

"hi sharon, it's nice to meet you" i said.

"it's nice to meet you. lauryns told me a lot about you" she said.
