the next morning, i turned over so i was looking at leah. she was still sleeping. she looked so peaceful.

she's so pretty.

i noticed her cute freckles and the tiniest smile on her face. i looked at her perfect lips and remembered the way they felt on mine last night.

soon later she opened her eyes.

"well hello there" she laughed. i stared into her eyes.

"you have the most beautiful eyes i've ever seen" i said. i felt hypnotised by her.

"thanks" she laughed and hugged me tighter.

recently, a question had been playing on my mind. a question that a few weeks ago, i never would even have ideas of.

did i want leah as more than a friend to me?

the answer to that question, is yes.
she's literally the perfect human. how have i never seen her in this way before?

i think it's after realising what a potential relationship we could have, has made me want it more. with her.

but does she want it? from her body language, it feels like she does. but that could just be the acting. i don't know

"you okay?" leah asked. i'd been quiet for a while. i nodded.
"you were miles away" she said.

"just thinking" i said.

"about?" leah asked. i shook my head.

"doesn't matter" i said.

we had breakfast and then got ready.

"i'm going to the trafford centre today if you girls want to come along" mum said.

"that would be lovely" leah said.

we got ready and then left. mum drove us there and parked up. we went inside and walked around.

we went into a few shops but didn't buy anything. then we went to have lunch. we decided to go to nando's.

we got seated and ordered our food. leah got her plain-ish while me and mum got hot.

"leah darling, do you seriously not eat any spice" my mum asked. leah shook her head with embarrassment.

"leah there's not even seasoning on it" i laughed.

"stop bullying me" she crossed her arms and pouted.

after around 20 minutes, the food arrived and we started eating.

"leah try some of this" i said and held my burger to her. she shook her head.

"please le. for me" i said. she sighed and took a bite.

she chewed it and eventually swallowed it. her face was all red and she had tears in her eyes.

"what the fuck. are you trying to kill me?" leah said. i laughed as she downed her drink.

"did you like it?" i asked. she looked at me with annoyance.

"what do you think?" she said sarcastically while i laughed at her.

after we finished eating we walked around a bit more.

"oh my god i want a build a bear" i said as we walked by.

we went in and me and leah did it together. my mum took pictures of us like a proud mother watching her kids get an award.

after he was made, we called him teddy. i was looking through my bag to get my card when leah tapped her card on the reader.

"leah why?" i said.
"i wanted to treat my girl" she shrugged. i hugged her tightly and she kissed my head.

we left and went to jd. i bought a baby arsenal kit and got teddy 8 printed on the back.

we got back into the car and i put on the kit.

"look le" i said and passed teddy to her.

"awh that's adorable" she said.

leah took a picture of me with teddy and i posted it on my instagram and captioned it "newest gooner 🧸"

we arrived home and chilled on the sofa.

"leah, what do you want to do tomorrow? mums got work and dad and ollie are doing this boys thing with my cousin and uncle." i asked her.

"we can go to that golf place near trafford centre" she suggested.

"that's a good idea. apart from the fact that i'm shit at golf" i said.

"i'll teach you" she laughed.

we watched tv and then ate dinner in the evening.

we went up to bed a while later.

i climbed into bed and waited for leah. she climbed in and i put my head at her shoulder.

"night soph" she said.

"night le" i said.
