the next morning, i woke up and leah was no longer in bed. it's 9am so i got up and went downstairs.

the door knocked and i opened it. it was leo.

"hiya mate, you alright" i said.

"yeah. wrap me up in this box. i want to surprise her" he said. he brought a big box inside and gave me some wrapping paper.

"bloody hell you came prepared" i laughed.

he got in the box and i wrapped it in paper and left him in the living room. he might be there a while.

i went to the kitchen and saw leah making pancakes. she had some fruit in a bowl and squirty cream and syrup on a tray.

i went behind her and snaked my arms around her waist.

"morning pretty" i mumbled against her neck before placing a kiss there.

"morning my love" she said back.

"i'm doing breakfast in bed for lily" she said.

"your so cute" i said.

"i try my best" she joked.

i laughed and then detached myself from leah. i got out some cups and started making hot chocolate.

i made them with cream and marshmallows, the way both lily and leah like it and put them on another tray.

"done" leah said as she put the plate of pancakes on the tray.

"alright let's go" i said.

i picked up the tray of hot chocolate and leah took the tray of pancakes. we went up to our room and surprised lily.

"happy birthday lily" i said as she sat up.

"thank you guys" she said. she hugged us both.

we all sat on the bed and ate.

after we finished, there was still some fruit left in the bowl.

i started throwing it to lily to catch it in her mouth. she was very successful and caught every one. then i threw a raspberry at leah. it hit her in the face and then fell on the bed.

"are you taking the piss" she groaned.

"it's fine leah we can change the sheets" i laughed.

"it's white so it's probably stained plus i literally changed these yesterday" she said.

"when?" i asked.

"after you f-" she stopped herself realising that lily is sat here. "before lily came home"

lily looked between us and connected the dots in her head.

"ew that's why you wanted me to stay at katie's for longer" she said.

"well done leah" i said.

"ew and i slept in your bed as well" she had a disgusted expression.

"i changed the fucking sheets is no one listening to me" leah said.

"still" she said.

we got up and went downstairs. i had laid out some presents and put up balloons, banners and big 16 light up numbers.

"i can't believe you've done all this for me" she said.

"do you want to open your presents now or later" i asked.

"i'll do them now" she said.

we all sat on the sofa while she opened her presents.

she opened the trainers and clothes. then she opened a little bag that had a bracelet it that leah bought her.
