started as a lie

today is the wedding day. leah went back to milton keynes yesterday and shes going to meet us there at the venue.

i got my hair and makeup done and now i just need to put my dress on.

i heard crying from the other room so i went to have a look.

"baby whats wrong?" i asked mia who was crying.

"lily poked my eye" she said.

"its okay im sure it was an accident. please dont be sad. this is a big day for me and mummy" i said. i hugged her.

mia had asked lily to do her makeup for today. both girls had their hair done and lily had her makeup on and she was doing mias.

i went back to my room and put on my dress.

i grabbed my phone from the bed and messaged my dad to ask if he was on the way to the venue since he said he would meet me there.
my family drove up from manchester the night before but stayed in a hotel.

i went downstairs and grabbed myself a bottle of water. im so nervous. i really hope today goes smoothly.

my dad dropped my mum off at my house and i let her in.

"oh darling you look beautiful" she said.
"i love you mum" i hugged her.

we got in the car and drove to the place.

i went into a little room with a mirror and a sofa and sat down.

we waited for a while for all the guests to arrive. my dad and ollie came in the room and they said i looked lovely. i was pacing nervously.

there was another knock on the door.

"darling its me" leahs voice came through the door.

"hi le" i said.

"you okay in there" she asked.
"uhm shitting bricks actually" i said.

"dont be nervous. everything looks amazing out here. i promise everything will go smoothy so stop panicking" she said.

"what would i do without you baby" i said

"not a lot thats for sure" she joked. "i love you millions"
"i love you leah" i said.

i heard her walk away and then around 20 minutes later someone knocked and said theyre ready for me.

ollie, lily and my mum went out and walked to stand at the front.

mia walked in front of me and scattered petals on the ground and then went to stand with my mum.

i walked with my dad, holding his arm down the aisle. i looked at leah. she looks stunning as always. she bit her bottom lip and smiled.

i stood nervously waiting for sophia.
music started playing and she walked out.

my god she's beautiful.

i felt a nudge in my ribs and i looked to my mum.
"she looks so pretty" she whispered.

"i know" i whispered back and bit my bottom lip while grinning at my bride.

she reached the front and stood opposite me.

i held her hand and with my other hand i traced over her jaw while looking into her eyes.

"and i didnt think i could fall in love with you any more than i already have" i said quietly.

we took our vows and jacob and ollie brought the rings for us to exchange.

as we kissed, everyone clapped and there were some cheers and whistles.

after that, we had a father daughter dance. i danced with my dad while sophia danced with hers.
