we left lily at home today and went to training.

when we walked in, we were the first ones there. we sat in the changing rooms and waited for more people to arrive.

katie came in and sat with us.

"hey katie." i said

"hiya love. how's lily doing?" she asked.

"she's alright. she misses lauryn but she's fine. she starts school tomorrow so we've got her all her uniform and stuff" i said. "what about lauryn"

"she's alright i think. i haven't spoken to her much." she said.

"lilys been saying how she wants to go to ireland in the holidays" leah said.

"yeah lauryns mentioned that too" katie said.

"do you think it would be okay if we get your mum or dad's number to have a chat about it?" i asked.

"yeah course" she said. she gave me her mums number and i thanked her.

everyone else came in and got ready for training and then we went outside.

we did some different drills and then went back into the changing rooms.

me and leah went home.

"lily we're back" i called as i opened the door.

there was no response.

"lily" leah called.

no answer. we rushed around the house looking for her but she wasn't there. neither was simba.

i rung her phone and she didn't answer. leah rung her and she picked up.

"hi leah what's up?" lily said.

"what do you mean what's up. where the fuck are you" she said angrily.

"oh i've come out to walk simba. he looked like he was bored so i brought him to the park" lily said calmly.

"and you didn't think to let us know" leah said.

"i left a note in the kitchen" she said.

"you have a fucking phone. use it" leah said.

"alright i'm sorry. i thought i'd be back before you anyway. i'm coming home now. do you want a coffee or hot chocolate?" she asked.

"don't try to buy your way out of this. but a hot chocolate would be lovely" leah said.

"what about soph" she said. i shook my head.

"no she's fine" leah said. they ended the call and then me and leah went to get changed.

"she really is something" i laughed as i sat on the bed.

"yeah she is" leah said. she came and straddled my lap and put her hands at my cheeks.

"i love you" she mumbled against my lips before pressing them together.

"i love you more baby" i said between kisses.

the door opened and leah got up excitedly.

"oh is that where i stand. you prefer hot chocolate over me?" i joked, standing up too.

"oh darling, i'm sorry you had to find out this way" she bantered walking to the bedroom door.

"cheeky fucker" i laughed, gently kicking her bum.

"oi" she laughed as we walked downstairs.

"here" lily said handing the cup to leah as she took off here shoes.
