Brandon's POV

"Brandon switch on the news."

"What? Why?" I asked mom with curiosity.

"Just do it!" I switched on the tv.

It is confirmed that it was Linda Craig inside the ambulance. She was announced dead in the prison fire three to four months ago but it turns out that she's alive.

"What!?" Ava, dad and I said simultaneously.

We still don't know what landed her in the hospital but we will update you. Thank you for watching good night.

"How is that possible?" I asked not believing what was said on the news.

"So she's alive?" Ava asked with a hint of anger in her tone.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to see if Linda is really alive." I picked up my jacket and grabbed my phone.

"I'm coming with you."
"Stay home Ava. I need to see her alone." I rushed to the door avoiding Ava's protests.

"I can't believe it." What will I do when I get there? Does she know that I'm married? How will she react?

........

Linda's POV

I opened my eyes slowly. My head was spinning.

"Honey you're awake." Mom hugged me but I was still confused. Where am I?

"You're in the hospital Ms Craig. Do you remember your name?" What kind of a question is that?

"Yeah. Linda Craig."

"Okay. That's great." The doctor wrote something on his book.

"What happened?"

"You had a panic attack." A what?

"I'll give you some pills. You'll be fine."

"When can I go home doc?" I asked really missing my own bed.

"Today. But I recommend that..."

"Great. I'm leaving." I got off the bed despite my head still spinning.

I got out of the ugly hospital gown and dressed my own clothes. I got to the pharmacy to get my medication.

Mom called the cab and it dropped us at home. At the front porch there stood Daniel and Brandon.

Brandon.

I felt my blood pressure rise.
We got out of the car and walked towards my house. I have no time for this.

"Hey." Daniel greeted silently while Brandon stood there with his eyes wide.

"So you're alive?" I've had that question more than once.

I rolled my eyes and got inside my house.

"Oh Linda. I cooked your favorite. Spaghetti and meatballs." Dad gave me a smile but I wasn't having it today.

I was angry. I don't know why exactly but I felt anger babbling inside of me.

The smell was appetizing but I didn't have the appetite.

Mom followed Brandon and Daniel inside the house.

"We were worried about you LA." I chuckled bitterly.

"Really? You could've fool me Because I thought you wanted me dead. You said that couple of hours ago." I said in a low tone but my words were sharp.

"I'm sorry. I really..." I interrupted him before he could finish.

"Brandon what are you doing here? Came to check if I'm really alive?" I raised my eyebrows.

Brandon didn't answer me. He just stared at me.

"Get out." I said and all them looked at me as if I am crazy.

"LA. Listen I..."

"You didn't give me a chance to explain myself now you want me to listen to you?" I pointed at Daniel accusingly.

"You wished that I was the one buried. And you... Brandon. It didn't take you a few months but days to replace me huh?" I blinked away my tears. I need them gone.

"Linda. You have to calm down."

"Don't tell me to calm down Benjamin! You are nothing to me. You mean nothing. You took my father away from me and treated me like dirt. Where did you bury him?" I screamed and he looked taken back by my question.

"Where did you bury him!?" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"In the rose garden. Next to my parents." He said shamefully and I nearly burst out laughing.

"You disgust me. All of you."

"Honey. Please you..."

"Don't touch me! You went and threw yourself in the arms of the very same person who killed my father, who treated me like dirt and you even want to marry him." I sobbed pointing at her.

"I'm going to ask you for the very last time. Get. Out." They didn't move.

I threw some cups and plates that were on the table.

"Get out! All of you! Out!" I yelled still throwing stuff.

I screamed again and they hurried out of the door.

"You too mom. Get out." I pointed her the door. She looked at me in disbelief. She too got out of the house.

My head was hot, my breathing became heavy and my heart was pounding. I took the pills that the doctor gave me and took them. I drank them with wine instead of water.

They can all rot in hell...

Poor Linda. This is just so sad.
