Jennie

"Jennie, what the fuck is this?" Mino asks me as soon as Jisoo turns her back on us and goes down the escalators.

"Good question" I let out a sigh and run my hand over my face. Jisoo is very angry and as if it wasn't enough that she was distant from me, Soojoo keeps getting between us.

"This girl is very clueless and very inconvenient."

"You have no idea" I roll my eyes "Before you arrived, I kind of fought with her."

"Why?" he furrows his eyebrows.

"Jisoo was irritated by yourdelay and the session had already started, with great difficulty my girlfriend managed to get Soojoo and her cousin to enter the room" I let out a sigh "When we were about to talk about everything that was happening, Soojoo came back saying she was anxious and I told her to be anxious in there."

"Wow, Jen!" he scratches his head "Did Jisoo say something?"

"No, at least not for me, she just looked between the two of us, but didn't say anything to defend Soojoo or anything like that." I shrug.

"I don't know how you're putting up with this girl."

"And look, you only talked with her for a few minutes, we've been with her for a few hours, but my patience is already at its limit."

"Did you already know her?"

"We met a few weeks ago, but she was better behaved."

"I found her very immature and needy, it seems like she is vying for Jisoo's attention at all costs." he rolls his eyes.

"Exactly, I don't know why she does this, but it's totally annoying."

"She's clueless and nosy, but between us I think I know why she acts like that."

"Why?" I look at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"Because she likes Jisoo." he says calmly and I stop walking.

"What?!"

"What other reason would she act like that?"

"Because she had family problems and found in Jisoo a motherly or sisterly figure that she always wanted to have, but never achieved?"

"I don't know, is she that problematic?"

"A little, her family is a bit messed up, but that doesn't give her the right to cling to my girlfriend in such a way."

"I still think she's in love with Jisoo, but she's not aware of it and thinks everything is brotherhood, as you said." Mino looks thoughtful.

"I hope she's not crazy enough to think something will happen between them because she doesn't have a chance." I say irritated when considering this thought.

"Do you want to go somewhere else? Eat something?" he says when we are approaching the local where Jisoo is.

"I don't think Jisoo will want to, not in the mood she's in and it's quite possible that Soojoo will want to come along." I shake my head in denial "And I don't know how long I can put up with her without having an outburst of anger at her behavior."

After we finally manage to get rid of everyone and are in the Uber, I reach out to Jisoo who is looking out the window and doesn't seem to realize what I'm trying to do. I let out a sigh and rub my forehead. God, this day is horrible.

I keep going over everything that happened and I avoid thinking about what Mino said, I can't believe this could be real.

"Jisoo." I say softly and she doesn't show any reaction. I poke her and she turns to me with a raised eyebrow. "Talk to me."
