Jisoo
I spend the whole month looking forward to the date I travel to see Jennie.
Every time I feel the same thing: the same nervousness and anxiety to see her as if it were the first time we did it. Except now I no longer have that fear that she's going to kill me.
I let out a heavy sigh as I stare at the TV and play with Kuma to see if his exaggerated energy lessens a bit.
Jennie and I are sitting on the couch at her house and watching The Hunger Games. Kuma is lying on my lap and lightly biting my fingers while I keep disturbing him.
"Why are you so distant?" I hear Jennie say and I turn to face her. She has that observant, intimidating look.
"Kuma wants to play."
"I'm seeing." She raises one of her eyebrows, questioning me.
"So?"
"So what?" she remains serious.
"Baby, the puppy is so comfortable, look..." I look away at the dog that is finally lying on my lap.
"KIM JISOO!" She changes her tone of voice and I look at her without understanding.
"What?"
"Seriously, I don't know what to do with you." Jennie says in an indignant tone and looks back at the TV. I keep replaying the last few minutes in my mind and I can't understand her reaction.
I push Kuma off my lap and get closer to Jennie who is making a point of ignoring me. I start poking her leg and pout, but apparently my girlfriend is playing hard to get today.
Kuma gets off the sofa and sits in front of us, starting to bark at us disapprovingly and I don't know whether to look at him or Jennie.
"Jendeukieeeee..." I pull the sleeve of her blouse "Why are you like that? What did I do?"
"Are you seriously asking me that?" She looks at me with that scary look and I increase my pout.
"I don't know what I did to make you angry."
"You are unbelievable." She lets out an irritated sigh.
"But Jendeukie..."
"The puppy is so comfortable, baby" Jennie rolls her eyes while doing a terrible imitation of me and I furrow her eyebrows.
"But he was finally quiet" I pout "He doesn't stay still for 1 minute."
"I want to have sex with you you worried about Kuma." She crosses her arms, clearly irritated and I stare at her without knowing what to do.
"Huh, yeah? You want?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"OBVIOUS, JISOO, WHY DO YOU THINK I TOLD YOU TO COME CLOSER???"
"I don't know, I thought it was just to stick." I scratch the back of my neck and get closer to her, almost climbing on top of the feline-eyed woman.
"You're stupid, you don't understand anything." she continues staring at the TV "Dumb."
"Huuuuuuh... don't be mad, love." I start peppering kisses on her arm, moving my mouth up her shoulder until I reach her neck. I feel Jennie place her hand on my arm and squeeze lightly, making me smile.
"Babe..." she says softly and I rest my hand on her waist, squeezing firmly while I look at her.
"Yeah?" I whisper softly.
"I don't know what I was going to say." I roll my eyes and kiss her. Jennie puts her hands on my face, pulling me on top of her and lying on the couch at the same time.
One of the things I love most about kissing Jennie is that it always feels like the first time. That intense emotion and delicious feeling when our lips are together is something I think I will never stop feeling.
Jennie puts her hands inside my shirt and scratches my back as I start distributing little hickeys across her neck, but then Kuma starts barking at us and when I look to the side, he's staring at us.
"Our son is extremely homophobic." I say irritated and I feel Jennie's panting breath hitting my neck.
"He pulled you." I hear her and turn to face her. "I don't know how you, being so gay, are homophobic."
"I'm not homophobic, but it's also not my fault that some gays get in the way of my life and I don't like them." I shrug and she laughs. "I'm serious."
"I know, babe" She smiles mischievously before kissing me again, but then the intercom rings and I let out a loud groan of frustration.
"By God, who is disturbing us now? First a homophobic dog, now the intercom." I get off Jennie and go to the intercom, answering it afterwards.
"Your order has arrived." the guy at the reception says and I take a deep breath.
"Thank you, I'll be right down." I hang up and let out another loud groan of frustration. "It's the food we ordered."
"Wow, I didn't even remember that we had ordered food."
"I prefer you." I let out a sigh and Jennie laughs. "It's your fault, you keep kissing me and I forget everything."
"It was you who kissed me!" she tries to defend herself.
"Because you seduced me." I roll my eyes. "I'll get the food and be right back."
"Don't you want me to go with you?"
"No need, love, just lie there." I smile at her.
"Then you keep complaining that I'm spoiled." She rolls her eyes and I end up laughing.
"It's part of your charm, my mandu." I wink at her before opening the door and leaving.
I pick up my phone and feel panic start to rise in my mind as I read the message Soojoo just sent me.
Soojoo: Jichu, next month I will participate in an event that will be held in your ex's city
Soojoo: Could we meet?
Soojoo: I really want to meet you in person, you know it's one of my dreams.
