Jisoo

"Chu, we need to talk." Jennie says seriously as soon as the waiter leaves with our orders. It's the last dinner we'll have together since she's leaving tomorrow.

"Are you going to break up with me?" I squint my eyes as I watch her carefully.

"What?" She furrows her eyebrows in confusion "Obviously not, where did you come up with this shit?"

"Every time someone says they need to talk to me it's never a good thing." I pout and Jennie continues staring at me.

"I'm not going to break up with you." she rolls her eyes "I received a job offer in one of the country's metropolises."

"Will you earn more than you already earn?" I'm trying to guess where she's going with this subject.

"No, I will earn a little less, but it would be easier for me to organize myself and study for medical residency." she says seriously.

"Okay" I just shake my head in agreement and Jennie continues staring at me "What?"

"I want to know if you think it's a good idea." She sighs heavily.

"For your career? Yes." I shrug and still don't understand.

"I want to know about us, Jisoo." she says after a few minutes.

"What?" I frown and Jennie takes a deep breath, looking out of patience.

"I want to know if you think it will be good for us."

"Oh okay, you could have said it straight away, I didn't understand what you were getting at." I give a half smile.

"I thought you were following my reasoning."

"No, when I'm with you I don't think much, I just live because loving you is so good, why would I think?" I smile widely and take her hand. Jennie rolls her eyes and smiles back.

"So what do you think?"

"Is there no job for you here?"

"I did some research, but they pay half of what I earn and I would have to work shifts." Jennie says calmly as she intertwines her fingers with mine "And you hate that I do shifts."

"Yes, because you don't sleep, eat or drink water as you should." I roll my eyes as if what I just said wasn't obvious "Even though they pay well, it's not worth the wear and tear it causes you."

"I know."

"Are you going to be closer to here?" I don't know if I want to know the answer.

"Yes, direct flight lasting 1 and a half hours." She smiles widely making me smile too, but then I remember something that makes me stop smiling "What was it?" Jennie furrows her eyebrows and I look away.

"I don't have money to pay for tickets every month." I scratch the back of my head and look at her again. Jennie smiles calmly.

"Oh, that's not a problem. I don't mind buying your tickets to see each other monthly." she says simply and I stare at her while I shift uncomfortably in the chair.

"I... huh... Jennie." I clear my throat "Won't I be being a bitch if I accept this?"

"No?" she furrows her eyebrows "My financial condition allows me to do this, there is nothing wrong and I know that you are not a bitch."

"Well, I'm interested in your body." I shrug and she rolls her eyes.

"My love, you stare at my cleavage and my ass in a way that you can't even try to be discreet."
