Chapter 8: Planes

POV: Snow

After a lot of arguing and fighting, mainly done by Harry, we convinced my mother to let me go. She only let go because she trusts Harry, a lot of people were going, and Madelyne's dad said yes. He's really strict and if he can approve it, then it must be okay.

I invited Charlie, Carter, Madelyne, Summer, Odette, Zach, Lexi, and James. Only two couldn't come, being Zach and James. James has to work while Zach is a mama's boy and decided to spend the holiday's with her. His "bond" with her freaks me out. He's like her little puppy, always doing what she asks and never complaining because he loves her. It's weird.

I'm currently in my bedroom packing the rest of my belongings for the short trip. Harry was here for awhile and it's Louis' birthday tomorrow. It'll be his birthday by the time we land. I am just throwing my teddy bear into the suitcase when Harry walks in perfectly ready in jeans and a flannel, of course.

"You ready?" he asks me and I go over the list I created in my head. I believe I have everything. I just take a deep breath and nod, zipping up my suitcase. I can do this.

"You okay?" he asks me rubbing a circle on my lower back. I get up and turn to face him. I just nod my head.

"You're acting like you've never been on a plane before," he jokes, but his expression changes when he notices that mine doesn't.

"Maybe that's because I haven't. At least one that's been moving," I explain to him quickly. He brings me in for a hug.

"You'll be fine. I'm on them all the time. Just chew a little gum and make sure to bring headphones," he tells me trying to be comforting. It doesn't do much though. I just nod as I grab my stuff and throw it into his rental car. We still have to pick up Odette, Madelyne, and Summer on our way to the airport. Charlie and Carter are getting Lexi, my other best friend.

I run back inside and say goodbye to my family, knowing that I'm going to miss them terribly. Why have I filled my mind with silly thoughts that I could move to London when I'm having a hard time just going there for a few days? Soon enough Harry is pulling me out side and into the car, where we go and get the girls, meanwhile reminding me to stay calm and that everything will be fine.

*A couple hours later*

"We would like to ask that our passengers please fasten their belt buckles for we are landing at this time," the man on the intercom says. I assume he is the pilot. I don't have a problem doing his request for my belt never was unbuckled. Everyone made fun of me for this reason but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I quickly grab a piece of gum as Harry advised for taking off and chew on it while putting headphones in my ears. Even with this your ears popping still hurts a whole fucking lot. I hide in Harry's chest most of the time, squeezing his shirt.

This big stupid metal bird starts shaking as it hits the ground. My eyes immediately widen as I look up at Harry, holding in the urge to scream. He looks a bit surprised himself, making things worse, but he masks it pretty well. I don't hear the intercom come on explaining what just happened due to the fact that Maroon 5 is filling the sound in my head. I close my eyes and hide in Harry again, not even noticing that the plane has stopped until he's shaking me. He takes a headphone out of my ear.

"We need to get off now," he smirks at me, obviously finding my stupidity and fear amusing.

"What happened?" I ask him.

"We just hit a pot hole upon landing love. Everything's fine," he tells me as he unbuckles his belt. I just nod at him as I undo my belt quickly, yet shakily. I hurry and grab my bags from above and make my way quickly off the plane causing everyone to laugh at me, but I don't care at this point. Soon enough, everyone's behind me and I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.
