Chapter 49: Babies
                              *POV: Harry*
The rush I felt when Snow told me that her water broke was unbelievable. I was terrified and on cloud 9 at the same time. It was finally happening. The answer we’ve all been waiting for was becoming on to us. I made a fool of myself running around the flat trying to find all the things we’d need as she just kept breathing, something I did with her.
The nurses were calm when they saw her come in, but immediately got her in to a room. I followed, holding her hand the whole time. She said quite a bit of rude things directed at both Zach and I for about twenty hours, the whole time she was in labor. I heard that that was expected with two babies though. I was kind of curious about the whole process, but I knew that I’d never want to witness a woman go through that pain again. Snow was fine the whole time though. She’s quite tired, but she wants to stay up to see the babies and find out who the fathers are.
“Where are they Harry?” she asks. I know that they’re being cleaned and checked upon right now to make sure they’re healthy. Plus, they’re taking blood tests and running them.
“They’ll be here any moment baby. You did good,” I tell her, kissing her hand and stroking a piece of her damp hair back. I’m just glad that we had no problems with the delivery. A lot of mothers do and Snow was almost positive that she was going to. I’m just glad that she was fine, that we’re fine.
“I want to hold and see them Harry,” she whines. I’ve never truly understood a woman’s bond with her children until now, watching the desperation on her face while she waits for her babies. Is this what my mother feels like when I’m away on tour? If so I feel extremely horrid and I’m going to need to give her a call.
“Miss and Mr. Styles?” a nurse says as she walks in the room. I can’t ignore the way that my heart races at that.
                              “Yes?”
“Here’s your children. This one is the girl. She came first. This one is the second, he’s a boy. You have gorgeous children and healthy ones too. You’re lucky. We’ll be back soon with the test results,” she says, handing me the girl and Snow the boy. I smile at her, admiring the gorgeous creations before us. Soon enough, Alee comes bouncing in to the room, security running after her.
“I’m so sorry ma’am. We told her that she couldn’t come in, but she outran us. We’ll escort her out now,” one of the men says.
“Your fat asses couldn’t outrun a soccer player,” she scoffs, laughing causing Snow to laugh too.
“She’s a close family friend. She’s okay to stay,” I tell them. They don’t like the idea, but nod and leave as she comes and sits down next to Snow on her other side. She strokes the boy’s face, smiling at him.
“Dammit Snow. Now I want kids,” Alee whines and we laugh.
“Don’t be so sure about that. Labor isn’t fun,” Snow smiles, not taking her eyes from the boy. I just stare down at the little girl in my arms, knowing that even if I’m not her biological father, I’ll be the only father she needs. This is my little girl and I’ll love her and her brother with all of my heart.
“What are you going to name them?” Alee asks as she takes the girl from my arms ,making me frown.
“I haven’t decided yet,” Snow says, looking down a bit embarrassed.
“I like Lucy for the girl,” Alee smiles, rocking the poor child back and forth. I can tell that Snow isn’t too fond of that idea.
“What about Alice? You don’t meet too many Alice’s now a days,” Snow says quietly, looking towards her daughter that she hasn’t held yet. I can tell she’s getting upset by it too. Luckily for Alee though, she sets the girl in to her arms so she’s holding both of the children.
“I like that name,” I admit, smiling at the little girl. I was thinking more along the lines of naming her something like a flower such as Daisy or Delilah, but I have to admit that Alice seems to fit her more.
“What about the boy?” Snow asks, biting her lip.
“I like Damien,” I admit to her. She’s a bit surprised but nods, smiling at both children.
“Damien and Alice. I like it,” Snow smiles. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bigger smile on her face. Man, I love her. Soon enough, we hear a knock at the door and the nurse from before comes in. She’s carrying papers and seems quite baffled. What’s going on?
“Ma’am. We have the results and they’re quite peculiar,” she says.
“What do you mean?” Snow asks.
“Well we have a case of superfecundation, something that I have never seen in my years here,” she tells us. I watch the way that Snow’s face widens in surprise. She knows what this is?
“What does that mean?” I ask, feeling quite dumb.
“It means that your girlfriend here conceived two different sperms within twenty four hours from two different partners,” the nurse says, but I’m still not comprehending.
“It means that one baby is yours Harry and that the other is Zach’s,” Snow answers for me. What? How?
“She watches too much American Horror Story. Trust me, that’s the only way I know about any of this shit,” Alee says and much to Snow’s dismay, she gasps, “no swearing in front of the children!”
“So which one is mine and which one is Zach’s?” I gulp, asking. I stare at the two children before me. Holy cow. This is it.
“The uh female child belongs to a Zachary Wright. The male child belongs to Harry Styles,” she says. Snow smiles at me and I lean down to kiss her, not sure how to react. I legitimately made a human being. I have accomplished so much with my life and I’m only twenty. I’m a father, lover, famous popstar and so much more. This has got to be the best feeling of all my accomplishments though.
“You can finally hold him I suppose,” Snow laughs, handing me my son. Holy Shit.
“Have you guys decided names?” the nurse asks us.
“Alice and Damien,” I tell her, staring at the bundle of joy in my arms.
“For the last names as of now, they will have to remain Jackson until you’re married. Is that alright with you?” the nurse asks us.
                              “Yes,” she responds.
“Alright. Is their anything else that you’d like to know?” she asks us all.
“Can I put Harry on both the birth certificates or just leave Zach off of Alice’s? I don’t want him to have any legal ties to her in the future,” Snow requests, surprising me. The nurse doesn’t seem to like the idea, but glances at me as if asking for my permission. I just nod in response. Wow. I have to kids now.
“Awe look. You’re all a big family now,” Alee jokes as the nurse leaves.
“Yeah. We really are,” I respond, kissing Snow yet again.

A/N: Okay awe this is the end. I originally had fifty two chapters planned out, but I rolled three in to one and I hope that you don’t mind. Even then this is a short chapter. I hope to be posting an epilogue later so if you don’t feel closure now you will then. So, yeah.
