Chapter 47: September

*POV: Harry*

This is the first break that we’ve had in a while and I actually have time to visit Snow. The leaves may be orange and browns, falling off trees, but I don’t mind. It’s our time for now before I have to go to Australia.

Court with Zach lasted all summer. I know Snow took it a bit hard, but she handled it a lot better than I thought I would. She’s always been that person where she doesn’t want others to see her cry or listen to her complaints yet with that knowledge, they were still able to put him away.

I guess I have some of that credit due to the fans.

They made the world know once they found out about Snow in trial. They couldn’t believe it and in some sort of sick sense, she became their idols too and admired me more. They crave the strength that she has. I’m just glad that the positive overpowered the hate.

So you could say that they were a big influence.

Due to her last day of court, her work is throwing her a work party. I’m surprised by how much she’s welcomed there when she only worked about two months before taking maternity release, something that she’s on now since she’s due any day now. I guess it has kind of put me at ease the way that they’ve been treating her.

“Harry!” Alee shouts as I enter the hotel building. I hug the girl, knowing that I won’t be seeing too much of her here soon. She’s starting college next week and plans on staying home as much as she can, but we all know that she can’t stand children even though I secretly believe that she wants one of her own.

“Hey love. Where’s Snow?” I ask.

“Way to be excited to see me too you asswipe,” she remarks, leaving me speechless. I open my mouth to say something, but legitimately nothing comes out. She laughs, “I’m kidding. You’re so gullible. She’s sitting on the couch in our back room.”

“Am I allowed to go in there?” I question.

“No, but I think they’ll make an exception. You kind of saved the poor girls life,” she babbles as we walks past the main desk and in to a door behind it. I look around the room seeing a bunch of unfamiliar faces, but then I see the way hers lights up.

Holy fuck. She’s huge.

I swear her stomach is like one of those yoga balls that’s going to pop the moment you sit on it. How does she even fit in to clothes? How does she move around? Does Alee legitimately have to roll her around just so they can get to places? This is fucking crazy.

“Hi baby,” I say as I walk over and give her a kiss on her temple. She smiles at me, kissing my cheek in return. Everyone keeps talking, praising me on finding such a good woman and I have to admit that I am lucky. I’m lucky that our grandmothers were best friends and wanted to stay in touch. So many things might not have worked out, but I’m glad that they did. Granted, we don’t even know if the children are mine, but I don’t even care that much if they aren’t. I really want them to be, but I know that I’ll stick by Snow’s side even if they aren’t.

“Hey honey. How was tour?” she asks me.

“Brilliant, but I missed you. How was court?” I ask her in return.

“Full of relief, but I missed you too. I’m just glad it’s over,” she tells me.

Honestly, I have to agree. I’m glad that Mr. Green guy told though I’d never tell her that. I don’t have to worry about her just going around town now in fear that she’d see Zach. Now that he’s behind bars, I feel a sense of justice and I know that she does too, but she would never admit it. It’s a shame that Mr. Green lost his job over this, but I’m glad that he took the risk because he thought it was what was right for my beautiful girl. He’s a good guy and I hope that he knows it.

“Me too baby. Let’s go home,” I tell her.

“Okay, but first let me pee,” she laughs a bit embarrassed. I help her up and Alee guides her to the bathroom while I face interrogation from her co-workers. I’m surprised that they’re all this protective over her, especially these three girls named Monica, Cyerra and Sara. It’s just another relief though because I know that she’s safe here. That’s all I want for Snow. I want her to be safe and feel loved.
