Chapter 1: Missing You
2 Months Later
POV: Harry
I haven't seen Snow since October, when she ran to Zach. Why did she run to him of all people? He broke her heart for no god damn reason. He just up and left her.
Besides that fact, he's a fucking pervert and so are his friends. I mean, one of them tried kissing her twice while she was dating Zach and Zach practically gives her hickey's in front of everyone which isn't a pleasant sight. Why would she go back to him? He just wants to get into her pants.
I have been trying to get ahold of her. I text her everyday. I also call her all the time, but she won't return the texts or phone calls. She just won't speak to me! I'm really worried about her and I didn't think that she would react this badly to what I said.
It can't be all just that right?
Something else would've had to of been wrong also and I have no clue what it could be. She must've been upset with me before hand which wouldn't make sense because she seemed happy to see me. I can't believe that we were just starting to get back to normal, but now this is happening. I'm not okay with it on any level.
"You okay Harry? You're so tense all of a sudden," the familiar voice of my girlfriend, Taylor, asks me taking a sip from her coke can. I just shrug, causing her to set down her beverage and walk over to me. She wraps her arms around me and gives me a kiss on the cheek, making me flush a bit.
"What's wrong?" she asks me and I love how she cares.
"I was just thinking about Snow again," I smile and pick up another photo from my desk of us two. I absolutely love this photo. It's one of my favorites honestly.
In the photo, Snow and I were hanging out and we went to the Back-To-School carnival at Washington Elementary for her little brother and cousin's sake. Madelyne, Snow's bestfriend, made me stop because she wanted a photo of me so people would believe that she knew me. After arguing for awhile, I finally let her take the photo. Right as she was about to snap the photo, Snow came back and she jumped on my back suprising me. I was still smiling, but she made a silly face. Madelyne screamed at us afterwards making me let her get another one.
One of my favorite memories.
I keep smiling down at the picture, reminiscing in the perfectness of that moment, not even realizing Taylor has sat back down on the bed. I spin my chair around after setting down the photo so that I may look at her again.
"What'd I do now?" I ask her with a hint of annoyance in my voice.
"Christ Harry. It's like you're obsessed! All you ever do is talk about Snow and worry about her. I don't even want to meet her anymore. I'm just afraid that she's going to steal you away from me," Taylor almost shouts throwing her pencil across the room. I raise my brows and widen my eyes, shocked at her outburst.
"Snow is just a friend to me Taylor. A childhood one at that. She's just like one of lads, kay? She's family to me so of course I'm going to worry about her," I defend my actions to my girlfriend. I mean, yeah, I used to like Snow in a more than friend way, but not anymore.
"I bet you anything she's fine. She's a big girl now and doesn't need you constantly watching her. That'd get annoying to me if I was her. But speaking of Snow, I kind of want to go skiing baby," she pouts her lip and I know she's right and I can't resist giving her what she wants. Oh the things I'd do for this girl.
"Okay, but we have to be back by Louis' birthday," I tell her. He'd kill me if I missed his birthday.
"Okay. That's fine. Where are we going to go skiing?" she asks me and that's when a brilliant idea comes to mind for me.
"Let's go to Utah. The best snow is there," I smirk and Taylor rolls her eyes at me.
"Snow is the same everywhere Harry. Does this have anything to do with a certain girl who lives there?" she asks shrugging her shoulders.
"Yes. I just want to check up on her. I promise. The whole time minus a day we're there will be for you," I tell her truthfully.
"I don't know. I don't want to be alone in a state that I know nothing about," she leads off and I sigh, running my fingers through my hair.
"I guess that I won't go and visit her for you," I lead off so very disappointed in myself.
"Are you sure about this Harry? I don't want to cause problems," she says and I smile at her.
"Yeah. My girl comes first," I whisper causing her to smile, even though she probably notices that I'm lying to please her. I don't know what to do. So, instead, I just get up and go start packing bags for our trip to the familiarity of Utah and the people there.
