Third point of view.

Wrapped up in your blankets, you lounged on the couch, eyes glued to the television as you absentmindedly munched on a bowl of chips. The soft hum of the rain tapping against the windows added to the cozy atmosphere, making it all the more tempting to doze off right then and there.

Then the doorbell rang.

You frowned, the sound catching you off guard.

Reluctantly, you pushed yourself off the couch, yawning a bit as you walked towards the door. When you pulled it open, your lips parted in shock.

Takemichi stood in front of you, completely drenched, rainwater dripping from his clothes and pooling at his feet. His shoulders rose and fell with uneven breaths, you could make out the faint trickle of blood running down his knuckles.

Your brows furrowed. "Takemichi?"  You whispered, confusion lacing your voice. "What are you doing here so late? And in the rain--"

But before you could finish, he cut you off.

"The reason you couldn't travel to the future.." His voice wavered. "..is because you are dead."

You muttered a hum in confusion.

Shaking his head, he sucked in a shaky breath. "Everything went wrong," he choked out, his voice barely above a whisper. "Everyone was killed."

Your lips parted.

The warmth of your home suddenly felt suffocating, the sound of the rain outside now deafening in the silence that followed.

"..What do you mean, everyone?"  Your voice was barely above a whisper, dreading the answer.

A broken sob cracked from his lips as he choked out, "Mikey... Mikey-kun killed everyone."

Your breath hitched, eyes widening in sheer disbelief.

"What..?"  The word barely escaped your lips, but you quickly shook your head, holding up a hand to pause him. "Wait-- just.. just hold on." Your mind was already racing, but you forced yourself to focus. "Come inside first,"  You said, stepping aside to let him in. "We'll talk in here."

He hesitated for a second before nodding weakly, stepping into the warmth of your home.

You quickly grabbed a towel, tossing it over his shoulders before gently patting at his damp hair. "Sit down," You murmured, glancing at his bleeding knuckles. "I'll get the first-aid kit."

He didn't respond, only sitting down with his hands still clenched, his whole body tense. Whatever he had seen, whatever had happened, it was bad.

And you weren't sure if you were ready to hear it.

You carefully wrapped the bandages around his bruised and bleeding knuckles, hands steady even as your mind swirled with unease.

"When I traveled into the future.. I was at Mitsuya's funeral."

Your fingers stilled for a second before you forced yourself to keep going, pressing your lips into a thin line.

"He was killed," He ontinued, voice barely above a whisper. "And when I tried to find out what happened.. I learned that every single founding member of Toman was dead."

Your breath hitched.

"All of them," He murmured, his gaze empty. "The one who did it all.. was Mikey." His finally lifted his gaze, meeting yours with a look of pure devastation. "He killed them all, Y/n-san."

You let out a huff, looking down at the floor. "So even after making Kisaki leave Toman.. things still went downhill." You exhaled sharply, frustration seeping into your tone. "And this time, it's even worse than before."
