Third point of view.

The metro swayed gently as it sped down the tracks, the soft rumble beneath your feet matching the quiet hum of early morning. You stood shoulder to shoulder with Hinata, both dressed in your school uniforms, surrounded by the usual crowd of commuters lost in their own worlds.

Hinata tilted her head slightly, her voice quiet but clear. "I heard from Takemichi-kun..." she began, her gaze soft as it flicked toward you. "That Toman disbanded."

You didn't answer right away, eyes fixed on the floor of the train. Until you nodded. "Yeah... it's over."

She hesitated, then asked gently, "Is everything okay with Mikey-kun?"

You exhaled. "He's... better than before. At least I think he is."

But even as you said it, you weren't sure you believed it.

In truth, you weren't expecting him to get over Emma's death. You didn't think he could. Maybe he never would. There was a grief in him that no victory or farewell could erase. Something buried deep and permanent. But that's what you and everyone else were here for.

"I don't think he'll ever move on," you said softly, eyes now staring ahead at nothing in particular. "But... there's a kind of comfort we can give him. Just by being around. Just by staying close." You glanced out the glass window as the city opened up into daylight. "Right now, he wants to be alone."

Hinata didn't respond right away. She just gave a small nod. And for a while, you stood there in comfortable silence, until she tilted her head toward you again, her tone lifting ever so slightly. "Also... I heard from Takemichi-kun that Toman was building a time capsule."

You blinked, before a chuckle escaped your lips. "Yeah. They are. The boys decided they're gonna open it ten years from now."

"Ten years?" She echoed with a soft smile. "That's kinda sweet. Are you joining in too?"

You looked at her, pausing. "Nah," you said, shaking your head. "If I did, I'd be the only girl in the whole damn crew. That just feels weird." You gave a small shrug. "Felt like it was something for the boys, y'know? Better that way."

She was quiet for a second, then her eyes suddenly lit up with that familiar spark of inspiration. "Then..." she said, a grin tugging at the corners of her mouth, "why don't we make our own?"

You turned your head toward her, brows slightly raised. "Just the two of us?"

"U-Uh, yeah." She said with a nod.

You couldn't help but grin back at her.

"Wait, actually.. I think we can invite one more person."

"Who?"

She didn't answer right away. Instead, she reached into the pocket of her pleated skirt, pulling out her phone with a casual ease.

Without looking up, she muttered, "You'll see."

You arched a brow, watching as she brought the phone to her ear and waited.
A second later, she spoke cheerfully, "Hey! Yeah, it's Hinata. So listen---we're thinking of making our own little time capsule. Just something fun between us girls. You wanna join in?"

A pause.

You couldn't hear the other end, but the response must've been positive, because Hinata beamed. "Great! I'll text you the details after school, okay?" She ended the call and looked at you smugly, slipping the phone back into her pocket. "It's Yuzuha."

Your eyes widened just a little, caught off guard. "Yuzuha? Oh..."

You hadn't seen her since Christmas.
