"Melody, wake up. We have to get to a photo shoot today." Daddy said softly waking me up. I groaned and rolled over. He laughed, "Come on, Melody, let's get up. We'll be going to the toy store after." He said and I jumped up and ran to my suitcase. "Well that woke you up." He smiled. I smiled and swayed sweet and happily. Daddy chuckled and shook his head and walked over. "Arms up." He said and helped me change into black jeans and a Spiderman hoodie. We did the rest of the morning routine (brush teeth, hair, eat, etc.) and went into what they called a limo.

We got out of the limo and there were lots of yelling and bright flashes. Daddy put my face in his shoulder and covered my ears, holding me tightly. The yelling dimmed and there wasn't any flashing anymore when I heard a door close. "That scary." I whimpered and cuddled in Daddy. "I know, they are mean. Sometimes they get grabby too." He stated. "But we're going to meet nice people." He happily said. I looked at him scared. I don't like new people. I shook my head.

(Okay My Chemical Romance fans, let's pretend they got back together )

"Yes you are." He said and carried me to a man with long bright red hair. I hid my face in his chest. "Who's this little cutie? Is this the famous Melody?" He had a funny voice. "Can you say hi?" Daddy asked in a baby voice. I turned to face the man and waved. "I'm Gerard." He said and put his hand out to me. I looked at it as if it was a snake getting ready to attack. "She's shy. Takes her a while to talk to people." Daddy explained. "That's okay, Bandit used to be that way." Gerard said. He looked at me, "Are you a Daddy's girl?" I nodded, Daddy is life. He smiled, "I'm surprised you haven't dyed her hair yet Michael." He laughed. "It came to thought a few times, we'll save that later in life." Daddy admitted.

Uncle Ashton came over to us, taking a hold of me. "Hi Melody, long time no see right?" He spoke happily. I shrugged. "Now why are you being shy?" I bit my lip, not answering. "Is it because there's new people?" I nodded. "How about you meet other new people with me?" He asked. I looked at him like he was crazy. "Please?" I gave him a sour look like I swallowed a lime. "Don't look at me like that!" I continued my look. He stuck out his tongue at me. I really thought about pinching it, but I would get in trouble. "You'll be my favorite niece." Ashton offered, I'm his only niece, I'm not falling for that. "I don't think she fell for that one Ash." Gerard said. I could see an idea pop inside Ashton's head. "Okay, you're meeting new people, but you're going to pick either me or Gerard to meet them." I clung onto him. "That's what I thought you'd do." He smirked. I glared at him. "Don't give me that look!" He warned. I stopped. "Can I have a smile?" I didn't give him one. "Fine, crabby, be that way." He spoke before leading me to two men.

One with long black hair and another that was way taller and had blonde hair similar to Luke's hair, but different. "Hey guys." Ashton said. I hid my face in his chest. "Hi Ash, who's this? Your kid?" One of them spoke. "No, mine is at the hotel, he's one year old now. This is Michael's kid, Melody can you say hi?" Ashton asked. I peeked my head out and continued to be quite and just wave. "Melody this is Mikey and Frank." Okay so the blonde is Mikey and Frank has black hair. Mikey didn't smile that much as much as they talked. I wanted to ask, but my shyness got in my way. I opened my mouth a few times to ask, but I just closed my mouth without asking my question.

"Hey Melody," I firmed head to see Uncle Cal. I stretch my arms out to him. " Am I your favorite uncle now?" He asked and I nodded. Slightly pleading to get out of Ashton's arms and not meet anyone else. He took a hold of me and Ashton looked at us in shock. "I'm the favorite uncle now Ashton!" Calum bragged. "W-what? W-why?" He stuttered. "I didn't have her meet people." He answered correctly. I nodded with him. I earned a scowl from him, but I just stuck my tongue out at him. "Fine, be that way!" He started to fake cry. I wiggled out of Calum's gasp and waddled over and hugged his leg. All of them awed at me.

"What are we all gushing over?" Another voice came over. I hid my face in Ashton's leg. I bet someone pointed at me because the next thing I know there's a man with long black curly hair by me. "Hi, I'm Ray." I waved at him. "Are you shy?" I nodded with a whimper. "That's okay, big people are scary sometimes." He said and I almost said yeah, but I just nodded.

"Melody!" My daddy called for me. I waved goodbye to Ray and went off to find Daddy in front of a big white paper thingy. "Come here." He said. There was a big camera that stood in front of him by a few meters. I shook my head no. I didn't like them, they blind me. "Please? It is very important." I bit my lip and slowly walked to him. "I don't like this." I muttered to him. "It'll be okay. I'm going to be here the whole time." He assured. "All you do is what the man behind the camera says, okay?" He added. I still didn't like this idea. I coward in his neck, hidding my face. "Hey, what are you doing? Look up." I shook my head. I felt his finger softly grabbing my chin, making me look up. "You need to be good and not hide your beautiful face." He told me. I looked at the camera and back at him and shook my head again, "NO!" I snarled with a nasty look on my face. "Melody, do you want to go in time out?" He warned.
At this point, I didn't know if I did or not. I mean, I might not have to take pictures if I go to time out. Right now, time out sounds good.

I squirmed in his arms and pushed goods his chest, not wanting to take pictures.
"Melody Anastasia-Lyric, this is your last warning before going in time out." He warned. I don't like being bad, but I don't like photos either. Let's try something new. I hesitated at first, but then bit him. "Ow, that's it, time out for you!" He sternly spoke and carried me to a corner. Before he put me down he spoke, "I don't know why you're acting like this, but it's bad. You don't want to be bad. That's why you're going in time out. Do you understand that?" I nodded, feeling guilty, looking down at my dangling feet. "Okay, you're going to face this corner for three minutes to think about it. I'll let you know when you can come out." He said then put me in the corner facing where the two walls met.

I stayed silent as I closed my eyes and brought my knees to my chest. This I can deal with, other than the flashing out of the corner of my eye. I'm a big girl, just not one that likes new people and cameras. Yes, I know that I shouldn't have bit him or yelled at him, but I just...fine you're right. It was bad of me no matter how you looked at it. "I sowwy." I whispered. "I bad." I added. No one could hear me, but I admitted it. There was a beeping sound from somewhere. It stopped before I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Melody, you can come out now." It was Daddy. I turned around and hugged him, "I'm sowwy." I automatically said. "It's okay, promise me you'll never do that again." I stuck out my pinky, "I promise." I said before his finger wrapped around mine. "Good. Now, we take 3 pictures." He held up 3 fingers. "You not even going to look at the camera."

Daddy picked me up and brought me back to the front of the camera. I hid my face and he did the same as me. I heard and saw the flash from the camera. I felt his face leave his hidding place of my neck. I looked up to sew him making a wink and sticking his tongue out at me. I giggled and tried to copy his own. The camera made its lighting strike. "One more." He whispered and pecked my lips, the camera man was quick enough to get the shot. "All done?" I questioned. He nodded, "All done."
