*2 Weeks After Graduation*

"Well, Andrew, where's your little star pupil?" One of other directors, who had to be around sixty and had a round stomach like Santa and must of been shorter than 5'6, asked Mr. Jacobs. "That little Michelle, Melissa, or whatever her name is, is she at least showing up?" In Mr. Denson's opinion, all actors must be there at the same times directors came. "Mr. Denson, all students still have another hour to get here." Mr. Jacobs replied. The other director replied with a disappointed hum. From the grey-white hair that Mr. Denson did have, he smoothed it as it was going left to right across his head. "Mine, showed up an hour early, just like I told him. He deserves a better part for his reliability and responsibility." Mr. Denson snorted in rudeness. "You're just unhappy that he didn't get the role of the Phantom." Mr. Jacobs replied. "The role of the stage person, Joseph! It's a humiliation for him!" Mr. Denson exclaimed with his arms flaying every which way. "At least he got in," Mr. Jacobs flattered the man.

Melody took a big breath before exiting her car, where she had given herself a pep talk. Then she walked into the theater.

She tightened the jacket to her body. "Melody!" She looked up to see her favorite teacher at one of the doorways to the audience sitting if the theatre. Melody automatically smiled at the sight of him. "You look like you've been lost for years that and you need to relax. I can see your tense shoulders from left back stage." He remarked. "Just nervous," Melody mentioned in a whisper. "Well, you shouldn't be. You're going to meet our kind of people. Come on, I'll introduce you to everyone that's here." Mr. Jacobs remarked and guided her to the stage.

"Is that our Christine Daaé?" A boy, her age, with neat hazelnut color hair with freckles scattering his face. He was just a tad over average height. "Melody, meet-" "Mr. Jacobs, please, I can introduce myself. I'm William. I'm playing Raoul." He took Melody's hand and kissed it. Her eyes widened. "Watch it, William, this one is taken and not by you." Mr. Jacobs warned.

"About time, Ms. Daaé appears." Another boy showed up, this one with crow black hair with a scratchy looking beard. "Melody, this is the Phantom, Alex. And will both of you give her a break? Argue with each other, get in character." Mr. Jacobs told them.

He then guided her to the one of the biggest back stages she has ever seen. The old, nearly bald, and round man walked over with his hands on his hips and snorted. "Ms. Christine, what an honor?" He made a fake ensuing voice. "Melody, Mr. Denson, one of the main directors in the performance." Mr. Jacobs answered then the fat man snorted and left.

A blonde girl walked over to them. "Hi Melody, I'm Madeleine, I'm going to be playing Meg." She at least seemed decent from the other people she had met. Then she skipped along off. "How does everyone know me? Especially the fact that I'm Christine?" Melody asked her teacher. "Because let's just say our school is one of three schools that don't cheat and look at the cast list before it is published and the fact that the leading names travel fast." He explained. "Oh," she stated before another body appeared in front of them. A woman with long dark red and brown hair, gazed on Melody, up and down repeatability. "Ms. Clifford, stand more confidently, eyes up, and look more excited and not so  depressed. You're the star, not a pitiful extra! Be grateful! Nearly every girl on this stage would kill to be you. You should be more grateful!" The woman scolded. Melody nearly cried as the words were spat at her. She kept them inside though. The woman then left, going onto something more important. "Who was that?" She asked quietly. "Ms. Quinton, no one to worry about. She's mainly in charge of extras."

They went through multiple people and faces. There weren't many that were to be important to Melody at the moment, such as the hair, costume, and make up people. Right now, there seemed to be only three people she enjoyed: Ms. Samson, the dance instructor who was also known as Gale--Madeline, Alex, William and Mrs. Dotter who would help Melody with her lines such as memorize them, how to say them and such.

"What did you think?" Mr. Jacobs asked as they finished practice. "Definitely different," Melody remarked. He continued to walk with her. "Not like the normal high school musical?" He asked. Melody shook her head, "Especially when everyone is new to me." Melody added. "I'm not new to you." Mr. Jacobs remarked. Melody laughed, "Okay, everyone except you is new to me." She replied. "It will get better, Melody, I promise you." He said and stopped both of them from walking. "These people are more like us, Melody. Now, you have a good evening and night." He said before walking to his car. Melody got in her car and noticed Danny texted her, How was your practice?
It actually went really well. She answered
