*Melody's POV*
I don't remember how, but we got back to the hotel room.
"Bath time, Melody." Daddy said and brought me to the hotel bathroom. "But I don't want to," I pouted with my bottom lip out. "Don't do that." He said and poked my lip back. "Jaycee let me take a shower." I whined. "Well, I'm not Jaycee So you'll get in the tub." He said and took off my shirt. "Why?" I questioned. "Did she leave you in there alone?" He asked and I shook my head. "She got in with." I answered. "That's why, we have different parts, so you're not taking a shower." He explained and I was confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Melody," He sighed, "You'll learn when you're older." He said. "But I wanna know now!" I stomped my foot. "Okay, okay. You know how older girls have um, extra...fat on their chest and boys don't." I nodded. "Well, that's one different part, and girls and boys have different parts down below." He said and I got confused again. "What's down below?" I asked. "You know where you pee out of?" I nodded again. "Well, boys have a different.....way of peeing because.... it's just different and you shouldn't know about it yet." He quickly said nervously and took off my jeans and undies, putting me in the tub.
"Close your eyes." I obeyed. His long fingers felt nice as they rubbed my head. I hummed happily at the pleasure. "Tilt your head back." I did as I was told. Water rinsed the stuff in my hair out. "Good girl." He said. Daddy cleaned the rest of my body and drained the water. "Important question, do you want to wear one of Daddy's shirts or pj's?" I instantly knew that answer. "Daddy shirt!" I cheered. "Okay, now dry off and put your undies on while I get a shirt." He said, taking me out of the tub, wrapping up a towel around me, and left the room. I did everything he told me before he came back with a black jumper with a dog face on the back. He put it on me and it was like a dress on me, it even dragged as I walked out of the bathroom. "Hold on here you." Daddy picked me up from behind and put me upside down and I squealed with happiness. "Wee," He laughed and swung me back to normal. "Again," I breathed. "Not tonight, we gotta get you back to sleep amd I have to fall asleep too." He explained. "Can I have milk before sleepy?" He put me on his shoulders, let's go see." He said and we got to the vendi machine. "Yup. There is milk." He said and I clapped. He put the money need and got it open for me. I reached down forn my drink. "You can wait until we get back to out room." He told me. I brought my arms back and waited.
He squatted down by the bed and I got off of him. "Can you drink it without spilling or do you need a straw?" I shook my head and reached for it. "Okay." He handed it to me. I quickly downed the drink before nuzzling into the blankets. "Ready for sleep time?" Daddy asked as he got in bed with me. "Cuddle?" I questioned, wanting more warmth. "Have I ever denied a cuddle." I shook my head. "Then get over here, baby girl." He laughed. I smiled and crawled over into his open arms, nuzzling into his chest and arms, getting comfortable in his grasp. "Thank you," I muffled in his body. He chuckled and kissed my head. "Good night Melody. I love you." He said. "Love you more Daddy." I said before closing my eyes and falling asleep with the rhythm of Daddy's chest raising and falling.
The boys and I were in the park. I was on the swings with Daddy in front of me telling me to jump. I was high in the air on the swing. I didn't want to, but he kept telling me to. On the seventh time he told me to, I did. I leaped off the swing into the air and landed in my daddy's strong arms. I looked up at him to say 'I did it', but then I noticed it wasn't Daddy.
He was nasty, old, and raggedy looking man. The teeth that he had were rotten black and yellow, but he didn't have many to see. I looked around the park to see my uncles and daddy walking to the car a long way away. I began to cry as they left me here alone with what I guess was a homeless man. I screamed for my loving daddy as high and loud as my voice and lungs would let me as I squirmed in the man's arms for dear life. "DDDAAADDDYYY!!!!" I dragged like a red carpet seeing him get into the car with Uncle Ashton, Luke, and Calum. I was alone with the homeless man, no one else was at the park. My tears turned into a rushing river down my cheeks. I continued to squirm as I kicked the homeless man, eventually he dropped. I ran the way my daddy's car went and my tears dried and my cheeks had windburn. All I wanted was to go home with my Daddy. It started snowing, but I kept running. I needed my Daddy. "DDDDAAADDDDYYYY!!!!" I yelled against the howling wind that slashed against my face and almost blew me away. Before a screech came behind me and made a bang noise.
I woke up, sitting up and panting with my heart racing. I looked around the room, outside the window it was still dark. I heard heavy and deep snoring. I look beside me with caution, but there was just Daddy. I leaned over the bed and noticed the homeless man and let out a shrill that woke up Daddy. I quickly got away from the side of the bed and quickly clung onto my protection. I was shaking in fear of what the homeless man would take me away. "Hey, calm down. What's wrong?" He asked and I pointed to the bed. "Did you have an accident?" I shook my head. "What is it then?" I clung onto him and stuttered, "S-scary" He sighed and got up. "Did you have a nightmare?" I nodded quickly. "Do you think there's something under the bed?" He grumbled asking, still half asleep like everything else he already said. I nodded once more. "Okay, let's look." He mumbled and bent down and pulled the loose blankets up to reveal... nothing. "See nothing's there. We're fine. It was just a dream." He said and got back in bed with me still holding onto him. "Let's go back to sleep." He muttered and closed his eyes. "Daddy?" I hesitated. "What baby?" I swallowed, "Can you sing to me?" He groaned and sat up. I took that as a yes.
"For a while we pretended
That we never had to end it
But we knew we'd have to say goodbye
You were crying at the airport
When they finally closed the plane door
I could barely hold it all insideTorn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
You
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you areI could fly a thousand oceans
But there's nothing that compares to
What we had, and so I walk aloneI wish I didn't have to be gone
Maybe you've already moved on
But the truth is I don't want to knowTorn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
You
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you areYou can say we'll be together
Someday
Nothing lasts forever
Nothing stays the same
So why can't I stop feeling this wayTorn in two
And I know I shouldn't tell you
But I just can't stop thinking of you
Wherever you are
You
Wherever you are
Every night I almost call you
Just to say it always will be you
Wherever you are."He softly sang to me as he stoked my hair, bringing me back to sleep by the second choirs. "Good night sweet baby. Sweet dreams." He whispered, even though I was already asleep.
