*That is Vince and RJ in the Pic*
The first thing Melody noticed when she came to school was that Danny wasn't there. She was obviously nervous for him. "Where's Danny?" She asked her other friends as she sat down with them. "Don't know, probably sick." Ryan shrugged. "Oh," Melody shortly spoke them played with the LEGOs in front of her.
*Time pass to recess*
Melody was heading onto the swings because she didn't feel like running around and playing tag with her other friends. She gotten over Danny not being at school, she just felt like flying in the air and seeing her feet kick into the sky. Melody felt as thin as air as she saw her feet in the blue sky, slightly laughing. Someone pulled the swing back, having her fall from it. She managed to belly-flop in the mulch. Melody slowly stood up, but quickly being pushed back down. "Not so happy when you don't have the boys around, are ya?" The voice was Sierra's that taunted the hazel eyed girl on the rough ground. Sierra was taller than all of the other kids in her grade, at least half a foot taller than Melody. "I hope you know that the boys are only pretending to be friends with you." Another voice, Hannah, cruelly spoke. "They hate you." She harshly added. Hannah reminded Melody of Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmations. "You're such a freak! You don't even look or dress like a girl!" Hannah spat at Melody. The poor little girl held her legs to her chest as she whimpered. "Are you going to cry out for your mummy and daddy?" Grace sneered, "It's too late for them now." Melody bit her lip and looked down at her feet. "Come on girls, let's leave the freak alone before we freak sickness from her." Hannah cruelly ordered before they walked away in a sassy manner. Melody burrowed her face in her knees as tears shed from her hazel eyes. "Melody?" A boy's voice pondered gently and a hand touched her shoulder. "What happened?" She was able to notice the voice belonged to Vince. Melody slowly raised her face, "Do you think I'm a fweak?" She looked up at him with fearful eyes. "No! You're my friend and always will, just like Ryan and Danny!" He showed a pearly white smile. "Come on," He superlatively pulled her up and into a hug. "Thank you," she muttered. "I'll race you to the slides," Vince cheered before running off to the slides.
That wasn't the last time those girl bullied her that day. They were forced to sit by other people that they normally sit by. "Hi Melody," Hannah grinned, too happily. Melody quietly whimper and hunched over more, so she wouldn't see her as easily. "Hey best friend," Grace chimed. "Why so that? Don't you like sitting by us?" Hannah asked with a fake upset voice. Melody didn't respond, she just wanted school to end. "What did we do wrong we just told you the truth?" Grace questioned. Again, Melody didn't reply. "You're being mean by not talking to us. I'm going to tell."
Hannah declared as she rose her hand, "Ms Shepard!" She exclaimed before the teacher came to them. "What is it Hannah?" She nicely asked. "Melody is being mean and isn't talking to us. We were trying to be nice and talk to her too!" She explained in a dramatized voice. Ms. Shepard gave a sad, sympathetic face before getting on her knees and arms on the table, facing the small girl. "Is that true Melody?" Michael's daughter was too afraid to get bullied if she said no. She softly nodded with a frown. The other girls smiled brightly on their inside at each other. The teacher looked at the other girls, "Girls, Melody is just shy, give her some time and she might talk to you. Don't make a big deal about it." She told them calmly before walking away.
"You're lucky you said yes." Hannah snapped as soon as the teacher was on the other side of the room, getting ready to teacher her class. Melody wasn't sure if that she could relax or stress out more now. She seemed to dread being in the position she was in. Vince turned back from the table in front of her and gave her an sad, but encouraging smile. 'You'll be fine.' He mouthed to her. She gave an unsure look back at him and mouthed, 'Hopefully.' Vince shrugged his shoulders before turning back to the front of the class. She sighed and wished her, dirty-blonde hair and green eyed, friend Vince was beside or the dark redhead and brown eyed, rebellious Ryan was too. Instead of the two blondes next to her. After Ms. Shepard handed out a paper, she walked back to the front of the class and taught how to write the letters to the small children.
