Interview

*Yes, I skipped the Toy store, and I know Ellen is in America, but I'm me, so I'm mixing it up.*

*Michael's POV *

The paparazzi wouldn't stop when we were on our way to the Ellen interview, for some reason she decided she wanted to be in Australia.

"Okay, for our next guest is one of my favorite bands, who have recently added two little members of their family. Please welcome 5 Seconds of Summer!" She announced. Music started playing as we took the seats on the couch.

"Hi welcome, wow it's been a long time. One of the last time you were on my show you were taking your pants off." She started, getting a laugh from the audience add the picture was on the screen behind them. "I know, I don't were the time went, I mean, Mikey and I have kids, and last I remember we were playing our first gig." Ashton replied. "I heard, how old are the little ones?" Ellen asked. "Melody is about um, 2 almost 2 and a half. Ashton's kid, Peter, I think is what 12 months?" I answered "Yeah, I love my little guy." Ash mentioned. "Luke, Calum, when our you two getting babies?" She asked. Calum put his arms around Luke, "Should I tell her or you?" He asked Luke. "I will. I am going to get Calum pregnant somehow and then we'll have a mini-me around the house." Luke laughed. "That'll be interesting." She stated.

"So um, what is it like to be new parents? Is it difficult on the go with them at home?" She asked. "YES, I thought my goodbye was sad, then we went to pick up Michael, and I think we were all close to tears!" Ashton replied. "Yeah, it was like if you lived the Notebook, but then you see what Michael leaving Melody, Michael leaving is worse." Luke added. There was an awe from the audience. "I've never seen such a Daddy girl compared to Melody. I mean she is attached to him and if she isn't, she's clinging to one of us, well maybe not Luke." Calum spoke. "She is the most shy girl. When she talks to new people, she'll wave, if we're lucky she'll nod or shake her head, otherwise, she'll go like this." I hid my face in Calum's chest, demonstrating what my daughter does as her day job. Then unhid my face. "But then, you don't really have to worry about her running off and going home with a stranger." She stated. "Yeah, that's always the bright side." I agreed.

"What about your son Ashton?" She asked. "He's good. I'm not sure if he is a big fan of me or not yet. There are times were he'll crawl up to and play with my hair or fingers. If I'm wearing glasses, he'll try to wear them. But then there are times when I will go to pick him up and he'll scream." He explained.
"So he'll come to you and be happy, but if you go by him, it's the end of the world." She made the conclusion. "Basically yeah. I'm like 'why are you screaming, I don't scream when you come to me!' I don't yell that at him, but I think it. He's a mommy's boy alright. Because if she goes up to him, he won't scream. Then here's me like, 'Why does he go easy on you and not me?'"
"Maybe it's because your hands are about the size of him. He's afraid." Calum teased.
"Our child will be an angel." Luke laughed and got closer to Calum.
"Your kid isn't going near my child. I like her not being pregnant, and I prefer her not being attracted to your child." I ensued.
" You're child will be a demon child!" Ashton added.
We all laughed, knowing that it is true without any deny.
"How about we meet one the new little Clifford?" I looked at her with shock at first. I sat up, "Um, do you want me to get her?"
"Well, I figure that's the best option." She confirmed and I went back stage.

I saw her sitting on a chair being her good self. "Hi baby girl!" She looked up from her Spidey bear and waved. I walked over and grabbed her, taking her to the stage. "Where we going?" She asked as I got closer to the steps. "To meet someone really nice!" I cheered and walked down the steps. She bit her lip, looking nervous. "You'll be fine." I said and heard the clapping of the crowd.

She hid and clung onto me. I sat down and she peeked out. "Hi there!" Ellen greeted her. My daughter, being the shy girl we told Ellen about, waved. "So do you like it when your dad us on tour?" She asked and Melody clung to me and shook her head.
"Is Spider-man your favorite hero?" In my surprise she shook her head. "Who is it then?" Melody stood on my legs, grabbing my shoulders for support, "Daddy!" She exclaimed. I made the brightest smile on my face and gave her the bear hug and multiple kisses. The awe of the audience was huge. "I've never seen such love in my guest. I think all of you can agree." There was a mixture of yeses in the audience.
"Melody, whose your favorite uncle?" Melody turned around and thought. She kept glancing between Ashton and Calum. "Ashton." She confirmed. Calum started to fake cry, " I w-wanted to be the f-favorite!" She giggled and crawled over to him, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you!" He exclaimed and kissed her cheek. The audience followed by awing.
"Is it always like this with her?" Ellen asked. "Yeah, she'll talk a little more sometimes." I mentioned.
"Luke, do you ever wonder if your the favorite?" He shook his head, "I knew from the day she hit my nose, I knew I was never going to be the favorite." We laughed as did Luke.
"When did this happen?!" Ellen asked. "The day Melody was born. We all knew that she was Michael's kid then." Calum answered. She laughed, "That's a story to remember." Melody came over and sat back on my lap, grabbing her Spidey bear.

"I love the fact that she gives me an excuse for sleeping so much. It's like, if she takes a nap, I take a nap with her, and it works out perfect!" I cheered. "You two share nap time then." Ellen pointed out. "Yeah, but I sometimes take more naps than her, and I feel a little bad."
"But she sleeps longer than you." Calum added.
"My son doesn't like taking naps very well. He will take one, but he fights while me or my wife is putting him in the crib. Then, once he is in the crib, he'll freak out. Like he'll thrash around and rattle it. I'm surprise he hasn't broken it yet." Ashton added.
"Yet, that's the key word there." Ellen spoke.
"Yeah, he's just stubborn." Ashton sighed.
"I didn't have that problem." I stated.
"That's because Melody is like you with that." He spoke.
"Soon to be demon child from those two will never sleep." I pointed out.
Calum and Luke both gave me a scowl. I smirked with victory.
"You'll always be my angel when you sleep Melody." I smiled and tickled her. Her giggles filled the room until I tickled her to the point where she snorted. I released my hands. "She has an adorable laugh." Ellen commented. "Yeah, I love it." My little girl snuggled up to me.

"I would like to play 5 seconds with 5 Seconds of Summer, but I don't want anyone to take their pants off." She mentioned. "That'd be embarrassing for Melody. It's like 14 years down the road, she'll be like, 'When I was 2, I saw my uncles and dad take off their pants. It was really awkward and I saw Uncle Luke get hard.'"
"Yeah, that's not a story to tell or remember." Ellen commented.
Melody looked up at me with her big hazel eyes. "What's hard?" I couldn't even hold back my snicker, niether could the rest of the guys. Of course, Calum spoke up, "When a guy gets horny!" He laughed. Melody started to ask, "What's hor-"
"No! Little ears shouldn't hear that" I exclaimed and covered her ears. Everyone laughed at that. "But I want to know!" She whined.
"You'll learn when your older." I quickly said. Melody pouted and stuck out her bottom lip, sulking on me. "Well, I hope you're doing well at being the Dads and musicians that you seem to be. I hope by the next time I see you guys, I'll meet Baby Irwin and maybe a mixture of Calum and Luke." Ellen said, in a way saying that it's close for our time to end. "Yeah, that'll be fun. Thanks for having us." Ashton replied. The music played as we said our goodbyes and Melody waved and whispered bye to her. I knew she felt comfortable with her, based on how she acted with the show and all that.

We got back to the hote room, with Melody practically asleep on my hip. "Daddy did I do good?" She mumbled, now tucked in bed. "You did wonderful, I'm prode of you. Now go to sleep." I whispered the last sentence, pressing a kiss on her forehead. She cuddled with Spidey and her new toy lion that we named Daniel, quickly falling into a deep sleep.
