Melody sat on Michael's lap as they played the piano. Eliot was with Haylie as he was watching her students' movie project. The doorbell rang, making Haylie have a confused face. "Eliot, stay here." She said with caution before heading to the door. Then someone banged on the door. She got closer and had her hand on the doorknob. Then, she peered through the window by the front door and saw two members of All Time Low. Se sighed. "Michael!" She called and opened the door to Jalex. "Guy's, it's not that I don't like your company, but why are you here?" Haylie interrogated them as they walked through the door. "Lovely to see you too, Haylie." Alex remarked. "Yes, always felt welcome in your house." Jack added.
Michael came into the living room with Melody at his hip. "Hey guys." He greeted like he knew they were coming. "Michael, did you invite them or something?" Haylie asked. "Well, it's Saturday and we haven't had a date night for a while. So, I thought-" "Mikey, I have movies and papers and quizzes to grade. I-" "Should give less homework?" Jack interrupted. "Need to get them done. No Jack." Haylie finished. "Come on, you have all of tomorrow." Michael spoke and he made a pout. "I can't, it's too much." Haylie huffed. Michael put Melody down, who looked up at him with sadness. "Babe, you need this. We need this. Come on, we can go to Applebee's or Olive Garden." He offered with a smirk. She crossed her arms. "Get the booth next to the kitchen. Some alcohol. Nice and creamy pasta calling your name. You get to brag about your leftovers at work. A night away from grading. We have two great guys babysitting. We can be out late enough to come home and have adult fun-" "There's kids in the room still, Mikey." Alex said. "Adult fun, under the sheets." His mouth came up to Haylie's ear. "A punishment can be given. You know how much you love that. Get some of my vitamin C in your little pussy. It'll be fun, I promise." Michael flirted in a deep and seducing voice. "We can play a little music that you get naughty to in while under the sheets." Michael continued. "Let my body love your body baby all night long." He quietly sang into her ear. She smirked at him.
"Fine, but give the Jalex rules." She stated before going upstairs. "I'm married to a woman, Haylie!" Alex exclaimed up the steps. "Doesn't matter!" She exclaimed as she went up the steps. "She ships us, you know when Haylie ships someone it's true." Jack winked Alex. "Gusy, not in front of my children." Michael protested. "Hi Alex, hi Jack!" Eliot smiled. "Hey buddy, how's it going?" Jack asked. "Good and according to Mummy high school students are stupid funny just like you guys." He remarked. Jack turned to Michael, "I'm glad your wife thinks we're funny." He said before sitting next to Eliot.
"Hey Melody. We're going to have fun tonight. Right?" Remarked Alex as he crouched down to her eye level. Melody was wrapped around Michael's leg, hiding her face. "Don't act like you don't remember your favorite Uncle Alex." He smiled. Melody lightly whimpered and tightened her grip on Michael's leg. "Hey, you're fine. You're acting like he's going to kill you." Michael cooed down at his daughter. Melody gently peered at the lead singer and slowly started to release herself from Michael. The father sat down as his little girl fully released from his leg. "Can I have a hug?" Alex asked and made a puppy dog and opened his arms. Melody looked at Michael. "Go ahead." He encouraged and nudged her closer to him. Melody hesitated, but slowly walked into his opened arms. Alex hugged her and made a happy hum.
"If either of them get moody tonight, just send them to bed or give them food." Michael said as Alex released Melody. "Okay." He said.
"Daddy," Melody looked up at Michael with her big hazel eyes. "What baby girl?" Michael asked as he picked her up. "I don't want you to go." She mentioned. "Hey, I'll be back in the morning. I'm not going on tour." Michael gently spoke to her. Melody nodded before she kissed his cheek. "We're okay now?" Michael asked. Melody shook her head. "Why not?" Michael asked. "I'm like My Chemical Romance, I'm not okay." Melody sassed in her little kid voice. Alex and Michael chuckled. "You're starting to sound like your mother." He mentioned before putting her down. "Daddy," she started. "What Melody?" Michael asked. "At least I'm not going in circles like Pierce the Veil. Nor do I have sheep cats." She smiled. "Now, you're sounding too much like your mother, go before you start talking about shipping band members." Michael said. Melody giggled and went to her baby guitar and started to strum.
"Haylie! Never let Melody watch funny band moments anymore!" Michael called up to her. "No! That's a way that we bond!" She exclaimed. "Bond in a different way!" Michael exclaimed. "We'll bond in a different way when good girls get caught!" Michael stopped arguing.
"Mummy won." Eliot remarked. "When doesn't she?" Jack asked. "Never." Michael replied. Haylie came back downstairs with a smirk. "Shut up." Michael spoke. "I'm not Luke." She smiled. "Our daughter is going to grow up sassy because of you." Michael said. "Then she'll be able to defend herself. Besides, you're always puddy in her hands." Haylie remarked and kissed him. "I love you." She whispered. "I love you too." He whispered, resting his forehead on hers.
"Okay, love birds get going! I want to talk to your son about future lessons he'll need to know!" Jack ruined the moment.
"Bye baby girl, bye little guy." Michael said as he hugged his children. "We'll be back in the morning. Have a good night. I love you." Haylie said as they went into her hug before the husband and wife left.
"We're going have as much pizza and ice cream tonight as you guys want." Jack remarked as the car drove off. Eliot automatically got excited, while Melody went to her step stool beside window that faced the street her parents had drove off on. "Hey Melody, what movies do you wanna watch tonight? Any one you want, no restrictions." Alex remarked. Melody didn't even move, her hazel eyes glued on the street. "Earth to Melody?" Jack asked as he waved his hand over her face. She pursed her lips and glared up at him. Melody huffed and got off her stool and went to the bookcase in the living room corner.
She pulled out a book, of course. Melody walked over to Alex, as Jack was on the phone, and placed it on his lap before sitting next to him. "Is this your favorite book?" Alex asked. Melody nodded. "Mummy's student." She mentioned and pointed who the author's name. "Do you want me to read it to you?" She nodded.
She listened with interest, being it as the pictures the person who drew them were awful. She giggled as she looked up at him as Alex made a high pitch and silly voice. "Do you think my voice is funny?" He continued in the voice, causing her to laugh and nod.
"Pizza's here!" Jack announced and put the two boxes of pizza on the coffee table. "We should watch the Conjuring or a scary movie." He said and Alex looked at him like he'd gone. "Would you like Haylie to kill you?" Jack groaned in response before going to the movie stack. "Just pick out a Disney movie." Alex told him. "Fine! We'll watch Peter Pan." Jack said and put the movie in.
*Time Skip*
Eliot had sent himself to bed. Melody, of course, didn't go down easily. She sat in front of the door. Her bedtime was eight, now it was currently two hours pasted that. "Melody, sweets, it's two hours pasted bedtime. Let's go to bed." Alex encouraged the little girl. "No." She mumbled, her eyes barely opened anymore. "How about this, I'll watch the door for a while to make sure your parents come back. You can take a little nap while I do that. I'll even wake you up if they come home. I promise." Alex tried to convince a three-year-old. She nodded, "Cuddles too." She mumbled. "You can go cuddle with Jack." Alex said and Melody dragged herself to Jack on the couch. "Come here, you little cute little child." Jack remarked and brought her to his chest. It didn't take more than ten minutes for her to fall asleep. "She was easy until the end." Alex said. "I'm put her to bed." Jack said and carefully got off the couch. He took her to her room that she shared with her brother and laid her under the comforter. "Jack," he heard the girl mumble. He turned back to her. "Yeah?" He asked. "My Mummy and Daddy didn't go on tour, right?" She asked. "No, they just went on a little mummy arms daddy night, that's all." Jack answered. She nodded. "Now go to sleep." He whispered. She snuggled into her stuffed animals and closed her eyes, they was good enough for Jack.
*Later.*
Michael and Haylie carefully walked into the house then looked at Jack and Alex. "Hand it over." Haylie referred to their ten dollar bet that Jalex would be cuddling and Alex would have his hand down his pants.
*Sorry I haven't updated in like a week! This chapter is kinda shitty.*
