Melody groaned as she left her History class and walked to the choir room. She walked down the steps in it and grabbed her folder from the box crate and took her seat in the second row on the third seat. Melody shyly smiled as she opened it, grabbing Sandra Dee.

"Excuse me," Melody slightly flinched as she felt a tap on her shoulder. She softly looked up at whoever tapped her shoulder. He had brown hair that most girls would want to pet and play with, he had beginning to be muscular arms, but his blue eyes were gentle. "Do you know where basses sit?" He asked. Melody nodded, "On the top row, in the middle," she answered. "Thanks," he replied and walked to that spot.

Mr. Jacobs walked into the room and scanned the room. "Miss Melody," he pointed at her. Her eyes became big as pool balls. "Sing Sandra Dee in the front of the classroom." He smiled. Melody hesitated then stood up and walked to the front classroom, nervous and scared.

Mr. Jacobs knew that she had a fear of this, but he wanted her to concur it. Her hazel eyes were closed and her head hung to the floor.

"Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee, Lousy with virginity," she was cut off from Mr. Jacobs, "Open your eyes, Melody." He mentioned. She clenched them then opened them. "Won't go to bed till I'm legally wed," He spoke again, "It would be much better Melody if you looked up, but it is lovely." He smiled at her, which caused her self-esteem to raise a bit. "I can't! I'm Sandra Dee!" That was all she knew with the notes and rhythm. Mr. Jacobs clapped, "Much better Melody, now remember to keep eyes open and head up." He encouraging spoke. She noticed the new boy staring at her as she walked up the step.

She huffed and sat down and felt another tap on her shoulder. She slightly flinched again, but turned her head that direction. "Are you Melody Clifford?" The same boy from earlier asked in a whisper, while the girl that was going to be Sandy sang Summer Nights, "Why does it matter to you?" She snapped back. "It's me, Danny." She rolled her eyes at him, "I'm not playing Sandy, go flirt with her." Melody replied with an annoyed attitude. "Funny, but how could you forget your husband?" He whispered.

This got her attention, she turned to him even more. "Prove to me that your the Danny from seven years ago." She threatened. "We got married in your living room and your dad was making mac and cheese for us. We were in kindergarten." He whispered to her. "Keep going," she replied. "Ryan would have to beg your dad to bike riding with us. On the night that I moved we went to the tree house and stayed the night. That morning we brought you home first and your dad was pissed off, scaring us more than we normally would be. Even though me and Ryan would never admit." He explained.

Melody turned her full body to him, "If your real Danny what was in the lunch box in the tree house?" Melody questioned. "Vince's coloring book, Ryan's baby blanket, my Lego man, and your stuffed lion." He answered strongly. "I believe you," she whispered. Melody felt a tingling in her cheeks, a blush. "You're still my beautiful Melody." He whispered back. "Danny, just because you're new, doesn't mean you have to get to know people now. That's for lunch and hallway time and after school. Now leave my supporting lead female actress!" Mr. Jacobs exclaimed.

*Lunch time*

Melody went to her normal spot at the end of an empty table and read. "Well, Vince, the day has come. Our darling Danny has returned to us and is reunited with his wife." Melody smirked at Ryan remark in a dramatic voice then sat next to her. "Has there be a welcome back kiss to your sweet husband yet, Melody?" He added, fluttering his eyes like he was a girl. "No, I'm not that easy anymore, Ryan." Melody sneered, still reading her book. "You're so unromantic." He sighed. "Like you are," she snorted. "Oh, I am, don't make me show you," Ryan winked. "More like sexual or kinky, not romantic and I don't want to see any of them." She replied a bit sassy.
