~ Now playing 'Bheegi si bhaagi si' ~
The sound of raindrops hitting the windshield of the car creates a soothing rhythm that complements the melody of the romantic song playing on the radio. Nisha's humming voice is soft and sweet, and as she sings along to the lyrics, Zayn can't help but be captivated by her beauty as the wind blows her hair towards him. Her flowery fragrance wafts along with her dupatta.
Inside the car, the atmosphere is cozy as they drive through the rain. Zayn steals a glance at Nisha, who is lost in singing the song and looking outside the window.
"I love this song," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. Zayn smiles back at her.
"You know, I remember sitting by my window seat on a school trip maybe four or five years ago, listening to this song while it was raining. Oh, those wonderful memories are flashing before my eyes."
Nisha nods her head and taps her feet as she jams out to the song. Zayn takes another quick look at Nisha, who is preoccupied in her tiny world. Her lips curve, and Zayn reciprocates her smile.
"I did so much masti during that time. I annoyed my class teacher so much, it was so much fun," she laughs and claps her hands, glancing at Zayn, who seems more interested in her than the road, reminiscing about her school field trip.
[Bro, Raste par Dekh 🤦]
"I climbed up a tree. Poor teacher almost had a heart attack, but I had so much fun," she says with a mischievous laugh. Nisha loves to trouble people. Zayn shakes his head and focuses back on the road.
"So, Tum Bachpan seh hi yese hi thi?" Zayn asks, turning his attention fully to Nisha, curious about her response.
Nisha shakes her head slightly and turns her body to face Zayn, raindrops playing on her face as she leans against the window with a smile. "Nahi toh! Isse Bhi Jyada Sararti thi baas ha Abb mein Badi hogayi Hu Toh Thoda kaam" she replies, scrunching her face playfully.
Zayn murmurs with a hint of amusement, "yeh Thoda Hai Toh Bachpan mein Kitna karti thi"
"App Meri bak bak sunke bore Toh Nahi hue?" Nisha asks, noticing Zayn staring at her intently. They lock eyes for a moment, sensing a shift in their interaction. Nisha looks away, breaking the intensity of the moment.
"No, I love hearing you talk," Zayn responds softly, his words almost inaudible.
"Huh? Did you say something?" Nisha asks, turning towards Zayn, who evades the question with a smirk on his face.
After a long drive, Zayn stops the car. The guard opens the huge gate in front of them and greets Zayn as they drive through.
Nisha takes in the beautifully constructed architectural masterpiece before her. Surrounded by nature and enhanced by the rain, the place looks especially refreshing. Zayn parks the car in front of the entrance, and as they step out, a maid rushes over to assist them.
"Good morning, Sir," a man in a suit greets Zayn. He nods in response and gestures for Nisha to follow him.
"Wow, Kitna Bada pillars hai, like something out of a royal palace, huh Woh dekh Maa durga" Nisha thinks to herself, admiring the breathtaking architecture around her, Bowing at The statue of Maa.
"Here's my son," Harshad says with a smile as he approaches Zayn. -He's mostly involved in our overseas schedules, handling the international project and cilents- Zayn embraces his father warmly, and his mother joins them, holding a pooja thali.
