As Zayn's guards watched him play around, they exchanged knowing smiles.
"I've never seen Boss like this before," one muttered in disbelief.
Another nodded, smirking. "Nisha ne jaadu kar diya lagta hai."
Despite their surprise, they continued to follow closely, encircling the couple for protection.
"Catch me if you can!" Nisha teased, taking off once more.
Zayn sighed but chased after her. Birds scattered into the sky as their laughter echoed through the park, blending with the cool evening air.
"Nisha!" he called, slightly out of breath.
She giggled and darted behind one of his men, peeking through their shoulders to taunt him.
"Aare, aap log bhi join karo naa—AHH!" she squealed as she dashed away again.
"Sona, stop!" Zayn called, breathing heavily as he came to a halt.
She turned back, eyeing him with mischief. "Tch tch tch, itni jaldi thak gaye? Come on, Mr. Roy!"
She stomped toward him dramatically, sulking like a child. Stomp stomp.
"Pakad liya," Zayn murmured, pulling her into a firm embrace just as she got close.
"Oii! This is cheating!" she protested, playfully smacking his chest.
"Aare, meri maa, ab chale? Kal flight bhi hai!" he sighed, watching her pout.
She huffed, folding her arms, her cheeks puffing like a balloon. "Cheater!"
Zayn took a deep breath and smirked, stepping closer. Nisha backed away, teasingly.
"Nisha," he said softly, advancing as she spread her arms like a bird, her shawl billowing with the wind.
"Aare baba, just chill," she said, halting and grabbing his hand.
"Waise, aapne toh mujhe apni family ka introduction bhi nahi diya," she pointed out as they resumed their walk.
Zayn smiled a little. "Apne sasural waalon ka introduction chahiye?"
Nisha blinked in shock before smacking his arm. "Haan ji 😌. Kuch bhi!"
She looked away, blushing.
Zayn chuckled. "Mere family waalo ko toh tum pehle se hi jaanti ho. Dadaji—Aviraj Roy—mujhse sabse zyada kareeb hain."
Nisha listened intently.
"My father, Harshad, is usually out of the country—so is my brother, Arman. There's quite an age gap between us."
"Ohh haan, waise Arman Bhai aapke bhai hain?" she asked, suddenly remembering. "I mean, I never got to thank him."
Zayn frowned slightly. "Thank him? For what?"
"Unhone Pooja Di ki help ki thi. Maine aapko pehle bataya tha na?"
Zayn nodded. "I'll tell him. No need to meet, okay?"
"Yeah, yeah." She rolled her eyes playfully.
Zayn continued, "Aur meri Maa, Mrs. Shanaya Roy—you already know her, right?"
Nisha chuckled. "Of course. She talks about you a lot, you know."
They exchanged amused glances before bursting into laughter.
"Umm, toh ab main chalu? Mujhe late ho raha hai," Nisha finally said.
Zayn nodded and led her to the car, driving her home. By the time they arrived, the night had fully settled in.
