Ch 20 - A Small Spar

Sirzechs aura was firing on all cylinders as her hair was waving about. Angry and enraged. It was obvious she was happy with Haru.

Sirzechs: I'LL PROVE I'M A BETTER MATCH FOR HER THAN YOU!

Haru: I don't think that's happening. Now how about you put away that aura, then we can go to my place and have some apple juice.

The Half Sword disappeared from Harus hand as he had no intention of hurting Sirzechs. He couldn't hurt such a pretty face... what the hell?

Sirzechs: DON'T LOOK DOWN ON ME!

Hundreds of dark red balls of energy formed around Sirzechs. Firing at where Haru stood. As he flickered out of sight. Dodging all the flying balls of destruction. Sirzechs looked around but couldn't see anything. Haru was gone.

Sirzechs: {Where did he...}

Sirzechs felt a strong hand gently grasp the front of her neck as Haru was behind her. Not only couldn't she see his movement, but she couldn't sense his energy. This possible with the help of his ring. Haru gently whispered in her ear.

Haru: One. Look if you think you're not enough that's not my fault. But you seem like a fine woman to me.

Haru smiled.

Sirzechs: DON'T MAKE FUN OF ME!

Her aura spiralled as a massive red shock grew and glowed around her. It was powerful only growing bigger with her anger.

Haru: See. You're strong, pretty, I've heard your kind.

Sirzechs: S... STOP CALLING ME PRETTY!!

The large aura shot out from Sirzechs as it threatened to touch Haru. But as Haru flicked his finger up, a massive split opened up the aura. Haru walked over to Sirzechs through this large split as she tried hard to form her aura. To close the split he had caused. She had never seen someone cut her aura of destruction. It shouldn't have been possible to cut someone's aura.

Sirzechs: {Just who... who is he?!}

Haru gently held Sirzechs soft chin with his finger and thumb. Moving his mouth close to Sirzechs ear as Haru whispered.

Haru: Two. There's no need to be angry. Be a good girl and lose the aura. Ok?

Haru looked down into Sirzechs eyes as her blush brightened. The destructive aura disappeared but her will to fight and prove herself didn't. Punching Haru as hard as she could. But Haru had caught it in is hand, as their fingers intertwined. Haru wrapping his other arm around her waist.

Haru: Three. A good girl acting as a bad one. It doesn't suit such a pretty little thing like you. So how about we just stop this. You're really strong but the pointless fighting is only going to get someone hurt.

Sirzechs blushed harder as she looked at Harus face. The sharp teeth with the smile. She knew. Him counting wasn't warnings. It was the amount of times he could have killed her. Crushing her neck. Splitting her in half. Crushing her until she popped. He was too powerful. But... this person. Was the devil seducing her. Because she couldn't help... but like it.

Sirzechs: I... I... Fine! But... don't... don't look down on me!

Sirzechs had a crimson blush on her face as Haru smiled.

Haru: I haven't for a single moment. I only wanted to enjoy a small drink with you. Besides I think it would do us a lot of good if you, me and Grayfia discussed our situation.

Sirzechs suddenly seemed shocked as Haru parted, taking a couple of steps back on what seemed like completely nothing.

Sirzechs: G-Grayfias coming. Here?

Haru: She is. Now my lady. Come dine with us.

Haru offered his hand. Sirzechs looked down at it as she looked at Harus small but gentle smile on his face.

Sirzechs: {He... He seduced her! I... I can't let myself fall for his tricks!}

As she held his hand she heard a voice in her head. "Good girl".

She looked at Haru but he hadn't opened his mouth.

Sirzechs: {Was that me? NO NO NO! Don't fall for him! I'll get Grayfia back from him!}

Haru suddenly twirled her around as she span into his arms. Holding her gently.

Sirzechs: W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

Sirzechs said as her blush only got darker.

Haru: Don't worry. It's ok, I won't hurt you. I just want to make sure your safe when I get faster.

Sirzechs: {He... he wants to keep me safe. NO! STOP THIS SIRZECHS! YOU ARE A STRONG WOMAN! A SATAN!} Y... You don't need to worry about me. I'm not some damsel in distress!

Haru: I know. You're the strongest woman I've met so far. I don't need to protect you. But that doesn't mean I don't want to.

Sirzechs couldn't stop herself from blushing at whatever he said. Her body involuntarily relaxing in his arms as they disappeared.

Time skip

So Haru and Sirzechs sat in silence as Grayfia arrived soon after. Very surprised by Sirzechs appearance but she immediately understood what was going on. Sitting down as everyone was in silence.

Haru enjoying his freshly squeezed apple juice as no one seemed to want to enjoy the food he had prepared.
