Ch 61 - Broken Thrones (1)

Rias: You've been doing so much behind my back it's like you're acting like an evil mastermind.

Haru had gathered everyone fast. Teleporting them all to a specific location. Informing them all of what was happening. Though a few people that needed to be were missing.

Haru: Ah yes. Evil is what I am. What would that make you? My villainess?

Rias: You... {I guess if I had to be evil. It would be with him. But no.} So Koneko, Kiba and Xenovia will arrive later?

Haru: Yep. I also left Irina unconscious at Asias place.

Asia: He didn't hurt her or anything. She's just asleep.

Akeno: You know it's making me quite jealous I started the same time as Rias but your leaving your mommy till last. Maybe I should cash in that date. Maybe after this~.

Akeno teased. Pushing up against Haru.

Asia: What?! No fair! Me and Haru... we... we were... close.

Asia pushed up against Harus other arm. Akeno gave a small giggle as she kissed Haru.

Akeno: Don't worry. I'm not that jealous to ruin another girls night. Remember Haru, there's no third place. Even if I become your girlfriend last I should still be equal to the rest.

Haru: I know. I try to treat you all equally. {And thank you for withholding your date.}

Haru spoke to her mind as he smiled. Akeno giving a gentle smile. What she wanted was to be apart of Harus happiness. She didn't want to steal it or ruin it in anyway.

Akeno: {No thanks needed.}

Haru: Let's get to the main event then shall we.

Haru clicked his fingers as the group appeared on Koah school grounds. A large magic circle was seen on the ground with four holy swords floating in the centre of it.

But something was wrong. Haru could feel something off. The power of an Unholy Angel was stronger than ever here. In fact it was so large that Haru couldn't see where the centre of it was. Haru looked around but couldn't see a single Unholy Angel.

The strongest Unholy angel that Haru had ever felt was somewhere around here.

Haru looked up and the sky and saw Kokabiel was there but the large aura of energy was surrounding him too. But it wasn't from him.

The Cerberus that was summoned by Kokabiel attacked but Haru wasn't focused on that fight right now. Something much more dangerous was close. The Cerberus hound went to attack Haru who placed his hand out but before Haru subdued it. One of the heads of the hound fell off.

Xenovia: Sorry for the delay. I hope you don't mind me taking your kill Haru.

Haru: Not at all. Actually I'm focusing on something else right now. Please help the rest if possible. {I'll have to find the edges of the energy and work my way in from density just to make sure they're not hiding. Separating energy is difficult but not impossible. But it's too hard to tell with the fusion of the holy swords. It's making the energy hard to sense.}

While the others were fighting Haru began searching. Using his enhanced vision to look around. Sensing with his energy. The Unholy Angel wasn't far away. It was actually a lot closer than Haru thought.

Kiba had come with Koneko and was helping the fight. The fusion of the four holy swords was complete. Everything was going as it would have in the cannon. Kiba was shouting at Valper Galilei the four holy swords were now one.

Haru: {Wait... where's Freed?}

Haru looked around but couldn't see him anywhere around them. He wasn't here. Kiba was unlocking his Balance Breaker and only then did the massive energy that was all around them start to condense into one point. Others didn't seem to notice it. They seemed unaware until it started getting a lot smaller. They started to feel the energy getting denser and smaller. They were inside such a large energy. But Haru noticed where the energy was condensing into.

Kiba had formed his Sword of the Betrayer. Ready to fight.

Kiba: I'll bring an end to...

Haru appeared in front Kiba as a barrier formed. A massive beam white light enveloped the barrier as Haru protected Kiba. Haru made multiple barriers as they surrounded Rias, her peerage and Xenovia. A massive explosion of white light enveloped the area.

???: So you noticed. As expected of the enemy to the Unholy Angels.

Haru walked through the barrier as Kiba remained inside. The white light subsiding.

Haru: How much do you know Valper?

Valper: Even after I tourtured the Unholy Angel for days it would only ever repeat one phrase. "Kill yourself Haru".

Kokabiel: Valp...

Valper picked up the Fused Excalibur and slashed the sky. Kokabiel was split in two along with his throne and the sky. Kokabiel exploded into black feathers.

Valper began to change from his old, fat appearance. His skin began to turn a paper white. He got leaner and more muscular as he ripped off his religious clothing with only plain black trousers underneath. His eyes turned that very same red as the other Unholy Angels. He got slightly taller and white feathered wings grew from his back. He had the human physique but you couldn't call what he was human anymore. The only thing he lacked was a halo in his head.

Haru: Doesn't this go against your holy preachings of god?

Valper: Oh? Don't you know? Gods dead. Killed during the Great War. When Kokabiel told me this I had no need to withhold my moral or ethical standings when experimenting with the Holy Swords.

Haru looked back to see Asia and Xenovia in distress. While god may have been real, their whole lives they had spent praying to a dead one. A little distressed in that realisation was expected and necessary for them to move past it.

Valper: So when an Archangel rank Unholy Angel was captured I experimented with it. Continuing my Holy Sword Project until I grasped perfection with my own two hands.

Haru: Wasn't Freed the closest thing to perfection, as a Holy Sword Container?

Valper: Hahaha. Not nearly what I have become. Something perfect. Above Angels, Fallen Angels and Devils. Something even above a Dragon God. Like my rank I will sit upon a throne with my Holy Sword.

Haru: So this is a throne rank. It's impressive that you managed to grant yourself this much power. An achievement to your intelligence.

Valper: SO YOU SEE IT! I have become something great. Something better!

Haru: Agreed. Before you were just a mortal old man, bound to die.

Valper: You... you understand. If I didn't have this constant echo in my head to kill you maybe we could have taken over the 3 factions together.

Haru: I see. Ruling the world as a God does sound fun. But I don't think you understand the personality I seem to have adopted today.

Valper: Oh? Personality problems? Tell me then. If it isn't a god you are today what is it.

Haru: It's a new one. I've been itching to test my real power and it seems that's itch has only gotten worse as of now. So I guess... right now... Hahahaha. I'm a battle junkie.

Haru snapped his fingers as the world went black. Valper looked around confused. He wasn't standing on any floor anymore. But it wasn't teleportation either. Rias and her peerage were confused as well. Xenovia watched in awe. What was this power? Was it really one of a Dragon God?

Valper: What... Where are we?

Haru: When I was creating spells trapped in the Dimensional Gap, I was inspired by Domains and reality marbles. If I entered a new dimension maybe I could escape the one I was trapped in. So I made one. Imprinting my reality over the other. My version of infinite nothingness. My reality. My domain.

A Gods Domain.
