Ch 85 - Missing

It had been a few days after the incident and school was normal. The students didn't remember a single thing. There was no evidence that anything happened except all the devils that were there fighting them. Rias and her peerage were ok and unharmed. The power of the hybrids wasn't difficult but their quantity was. But something was different. Missing. It was Issei and Aika. They were still missing and no one could find them. Not that it seemed like anyone but Haru was trying.

Haru: WE NEED TO FIND THEM!

Haru shouted. At a meeting with the four Satans as he was the main witness to this incident. The one to not only kill all the students and human teachers, but to bring them back and solve the whole problem.

Ajuka: I understand that two of your students are missing but they are human and this situation was easily resolved. We just need to keep watch over them. An incident like this won't happen again. We slipped up once during the summer because this was a new circumstance.

Haru: YOU COMPLETELY BRUSHED OVER THE ISSUE THAT TWO OF THEM ARE MISSING! JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE HUMAN WE WONT BOTHER?!

Haru gripped his hands into balled fists looking at Ajuka.

Ajuka: That's not what we meant. We are managing the damage. Their parents believe they're on an abroad school trip for winning an academic school award, furthering their education. Of which the parents believe they agreed to. Their friends and the other students have been made to believe as such. If they aren't found by the time this lie loses its effect, it is most likely they're dead.

Haru: DID YOU NOT JUST LISTEN TO ANYTHING I'VE SAID!

Haru had told them everything. How the students were missing, how Issei was the holder of a powerful scared gear, even what it did and how much danger it could cause if in the wrong hands.

Sirzechs: Haru calm down.

Haru: NO! THEY EXPERIMENTED ON MY STUDENTS WHICH I HAD TO KILL! THEY TOOK TWO! AND ARE MOST LIKELY PLANNING TO DO SOMETHING WORSE WITH THEM! AND EVEN AFTER THOUSANDS OF YEARS! YOU STILL CAN'T FIND WHERE THEY ALWAYS DISAPPEAR TOO!

Serafall: That's not fair to us! We try our best! You may have found out a lot of information about them but you can't find it either. {Haru... I'm sorry.}

Serafall knew exactly why he was so angry. Killing all those students even if he brought them back would have been devastating. Having them taken away, knowing they were going to be experimented on making his anger even worse. Serafall realised Harus anger.

Haru: DOING NOTHING WAS YOUR BEST?! I'D HATE TO SEE YOUR WORST!

Serafall: We've already done everything we can! Haru we can't do anything else!

Haru: HOW HAS THIS BEEN EVERYTHING! YOUR JUST COVERING UP THE PROBLEM! I WAS THE ONE THAT ERASED THEIR MEMORIES! I WAS THE ONE THAT IMPLANTED NEW ONES! I WAS THE ONE THAT SOLVED THE WHOLE PROBLEM! AND NOW IM ASKING YOU FOR HELP... ITS A NO!!!

Serafall: WELL AT LEAST WE DIDN'T CAUSE THE PROBLEM!

Serafall quickly covered her mouth. Her sister told her that in confidence. Serafall didn't want to say that either. Not to Haru. Hating herself as she looked at him. Haru looked at her as anger was slowly lost and a deep self loathing took over. She was right. This was his fault.

Serafall: No Haru I didn't mea...

Ajuka: What does that mean?

Everyone looked at Serafall and Haru as there was a silence.

Serafall: Nothing. It... It means nothing.

Ajuka: Serafall.

Sirzechs: Haru what does she mean?

Haru: {...} I... I...

Haru disappeared without a trace as everyone was left staring at Serafall.

Serafall: I...

Sirzechs: Answer now!

Sirzechs slammed on the table. Her aura and magic power bursting out.

Serafall: Haru... My sister told me that Haru said he pissed off god.

Sirzechs: But gods dead.

Ajuka: The unholy ages appeared before god died though. It's unlikely he made them given he already had the angels. I think we may have to consider that there's another god out there.

There was a silence at that realisation. Another all powerful entity capable of creating such a monstrous species. But then that silences was broken by a bald man wearing purple robes. Falbium. The fourth Satan.

Falbium: That would mean Haru is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths. And that's only counting devils.

Serafall: NO HE'S NOT! I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT! AND EVEN IF THE UNHOLY ANGELS ARE TELLING THE TRUTH I WOULD NEVER WANT THAT!

Serafall covered her mouth again. Mentally swearing at herself as she was completely slipping up out of anger at the others and herself. She knew Haru wasn't the bad guy. He was a friend. A close friend. Someone she never wanted to lose.

Sirzechs: Want what?

Ajuka: What haven't you told us Serafall?

Everyone looked at Serafall as she had already said to much. Gulping as she told them the rest.

Serafall: They... they want Haru to kill himself so this all ends.

Ajuka: They want Haru to kill himself? Why not just kill him?

Sirzechs: He may be too powerful? It may have something to do with pride. We can't ask that question only knowing what we know.

Falbium: Doesn't that mean his existence is the enemy of all three factions. He's the cause of all of this.

Serafall: HARU HAS ONLY EVER DONE GOOD THINGS THOUGH!

Ajuka: Serafall. We're speaking about every being in existence here.

Serafall: EXACTLY! HARU HAS HELPED EVERYONE! SIRZECHS HE SAVED GRAYFIA! THE WORLD TREE MADE MEDICINE THAT HAS SAVED SO MANY PEOPLE! DURING WORLD WAR 2 HE KILLED THE MOST UNHOLY ANGELS SAVING SO MANY HUMANS! HE HELPS THE LOWER RANK DEVIL MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE! HE'S A TEACHER TO HIS STUDENTS! HE'S MY BEST FRIEND AND FOR FUCK SAKE HE'S YOUR HUSBAND SIRZECHS! WE ARE NOT GOING TO THROW HIM UNDER THE BUS JUST TO SAVE OURSELVES!

Sirzechs: We were never going to do that. Right guys.

Falbium: I was just stating my thoughts. {I knew speaking up would cause more issues. I just want to go back to bed.}

Ajuka: What will we tell the fallen angels and the angels? This information is too big to hide.

Sirzechs magic engulfed the entire room. A glare shot at Ajuka.

Sirzechs: WE WILL NOT TELL ANYONE! THIS HAPPENED ON DEVIL OWNED TERRITORY! SO THE INFORMATION LEARNED TODAY STAYS IN THIS ROOM! THE INCIDENT ONLY KNOWN TO THOSE THAT EXPERIENCED THE IT! AM I CLEAR AJAKU!

Ajuka: Even if it means many more die?

Serafall: EVEN IF THAT MEANS MORE! THIS IS HARU WERE TALKING ABOUT! MANY WOULD HAVE DIED WITHOUT HIM!

Sirzechs: EXACTLY! NOW ARE WE CLEAR ON THAT?!

Ajaku: Crystal.

Serafall: Good! Now I'm going to ask my sister who else may know so that they all keep their mouths shut.

She may have not been the best person to do that, but she wasn't going to slip up again. Haru meant too much to her to make that mistake.

Sirzechs: I'm going to find Haru to make sure he doesn't do anything drastic. Falbium... just go back to sleep or something. Ajuka. You are my best friend. Don't make me think otherwise.

Sirzechs and Serafall disappeared in magic circles as Falbium then disappeared after.

Ajuka: *Sigh* Women. {Such emotional creatures.}
