Ch 38 - Years Of Love

Haru was doing his regular. Making obscene amounts of money, investing or purchasing companies and letting humans run it. All the companies he purchased which he knew were all going to be successes were under his new group, the Gakia Group. GG. And because the group was only known so far to find up and coming companies that somehow made it big. Many people invested into it. Now Haru wasn't any Scrooge Mcduck. But he was in all meanings of the phrase, filthy rich.

The purchasing of companies helped Haru further develop his territory and bring more job prospects to the devils in it. His budget was massive. And technological development was booming in both the human world and Underworld.

Haru still caused a little bit of chaos. Remembering that someone in the future wanted to change schooling policies. So with the budget to do so, he changed it in his own territory. Creating a school for low class devils to learn and develop in rating games. Making him a lot more popular with the lower class devils and making his territory a lot more popular among them. The population on an increase, Haru investing more of the budget in housing development.

However, that also made him less popular amongst higher class devils that had more conservative views. Though he didn't care. They weren't people that liked him in the first place. He also had no intention of forming relationships with those people either. People that only respected the rank of a person rather the person themselves.

Haru received more wedding offers which was a yearly occurrence at this point. However, he always denied them. He didn't want to go and marry someone just because they may have a strong kid.

With the World War over Haru also took a more extensive honeymoon with both Grayfia and Sirzechs. Leaving the Underworld behind to relax. Already sorting all the important things they needed to for that year. Leaving the daily to a third party to handle

While Sirzechs didn't want a child Grayfia and Haru did. So that was something they tried very often. Enjoying each other's company every night if not twice. Though as expected, with Devil women's low birth rate it was going to take a while. Having no such luck so far. However, some people tripped binding spells near the World Tree which ruined Harus honeymoon peace. Though he couldn't say it was all ruined. After he disposed of those, not able to receive any information from them. He went back to enjoy his honeymoon.

He was called by the monarchy. Specifically Queen Elizabeth II who learned of their curse and allegiance. Asking for her departed father back. Harus denying this matter may have soured their relationship, but the curse binding was absolute. Besides he couldn't resurrect the long dead. And he had been long dead. So he didn't worry about it. Instead, promising Britain would win the Winter Olympics. Though she didn't seem to like the constellation prize. There was nothing Haru could do. Though England did win the Winter Olympics as promised.

Haru watched some nuclear weapon testing. Which was awesome! The mushroom cloud cooler than what you see in the movies. He even let one hit him. Though compared to the power he has now it was slightly underwhelming. Feeling like a small shower of rain.

Haru made sure to wash off all the radiation that day with magic. It took 3 days to do that.

Lastly Haru now has the strongest peerage. Sirzechs being jealous of Grayfia that she had a mutation piece of Harus. Which surprised both Grayfia and Haru. So they teased her relentlessly about it. But Haru was more than happy giving her a piece. Making her his rook. Straight after she got the piece she tried to beat Haru in a fight... tragically losing. Getting teased and seduced again. Though she liked that it ended with them in bed together. Not that she wanted to admit it.

Overall life was going well. Haru even got to see a very cute red haired baby.
