Ch 46 - Sunday Mass

Haru had saved Aida from Freed. She stared in amazement as someone overwhelmed Freed with pure physical strength. Overwhelming him so much that Freed was on the run after meeting such an overwhelming power. Haru checked to make sure Asia was ok. Then he vanished, leaving Asia was left alone. Wondering if she should return to the church. It took days for her to decide, spending that time living in cafes with money random people gave her because she politely asked for help. And Asia decided not to. She was the apparent witch and a priest just attacked her. But that wasn't a choice for her to make as Raynare abducted her pulling her into the sky.

Haru felt really bad watching, but if he thought about it, this was better for her. She would have some place to live, school, friends. Haru felt evil planning this and Asias death but it was for her own good in the end.

But today was the day. Haru was standing outside the church with Rias and her peerage. He had perfectly timed their arrival and time of entry so that everything would go correctly. When they opened the church doors they could see Freed standing at the other end of the church. Freed looked at Haru as he squinted.

Freed: Wait... that build. YOUR THE ASSHOLE THAT DID THIS TOO ME!

Freed shouted as Haru and Everton looked at Freed and then Haru. Freeds nose was completely smashed in. His hair was ripped out in areas, one of his arms broken in multiple places. Haru was surprised Freed was here at all. Haru accidentally got angry looking at Freed going to push himself onto Asia. Going a little bit too far in his attacks.

Haru: You really deserved it though.

Freed: YOU...

Haru appeared in front of Freed as Haru grabbed him by the neck. Lifting freed off his feet. Freed tried to stab Haru with a light sword but it snapped on contact with Harus skin. Only piercing his clothes. Freed placed his gun right on Harus eye. Pulling the trigger. And while a smart move, Haru with his hardened body due to the Heavenly Demon Body Refining Art, had no weak point like his eyes. The bullet flattening on contact with his eye as he blinked it off.

Haru: You done?

Freed: W-W-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!

Haru looked really unamused as he threw Freed out the window. Still sadly needing him for another arc before he could kill him.

Haru walked forward as he ripped off an alter to reveal a hidden spiral staircase. Going straight down. Walking down as Rias and her peerage stood there shocked.

Kiba: Wow. The rumours of him being the strongest devil wasn't a lie.

Koneko: He is a Dragon God. It makes sense.

Rias: Isn't he just amazing.

Rias fawned as Akeno stared at Haru. Haru still walking down as he shouted.

Haru: YOU GUYS COMING?

Akeno: Just admiring the view sweetie.

Akeno said as she started to follow behind. The rest began following.

Haru: Please don't call me that. {Also what view?... MY ASS?!}

Akeno: Awwww. Honey you're going to hurt my feelings.

Haru: {Please just stop.}

Haru walked down the spiralled stairs with Rias and her peerage. Given the tragic shouts of pain. It was on time. Though Haru hated that he thought of it like that. Seeing Asia collapsed on the floor and Raynare receiving a glowing light into her chest. I made him want to destroy the entire church. But he had to calm down.

Raynare: YOUR TOO LATE CHAOS DRAGON GOD! WITH THIS SCARED GEAR AND MY POWER OF LIGHT! I'M STRONGER!

Raynare tried to channel her power into her arm that wasn't there... but it wasn't regrowing. It wasn't regenerating.

Raynare: Why... WHY ISN'T IT WORKING?! HE... he... he... HE WON'T LOVE ME LIKE THIS!

As Rias peerage began fighting as Haru stood in front of Raynare. Looking down on her. Much taller than her.

Raynare: DON'T... DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE I'M THE PITIFUL ONE!

Haru: It is sad. That you would throw away your entire life for a man that never loved you.

Raynare: You... DON'T PITY ME!

Raynare punched Haru with her one good hand. But it didn't even tickle Haru. Haru looking down as he held Raynare by her face. Raynare dropping dead. At speed no one could perceive Haru snapped Raynares neck and moved her head back to its original place.

Her body burst into black feathers as Haru looked down at the scared gear. Twilight Healing. While there were multiple versions of this gear, and other healing gears. What wasn't special was the gear, but Asia.

Rias: I assume this was the scared gear of this girl.

Rias stood next to Haru as the peerage quickly defeated all of the priests and the low rank fallen angels.

Haru: Her name is Asia. Asia Argento.

Rias: Asia... It's a nice name. We should return this now then, shouldn't we.

Rias gently picked up the glowing scared gear as she walked over with Haru. Haru had picked up Asia in his arms. Looking down at her. He was so sorry he had to do this. He felt terrible about it. Both Rias and Haru walked over to a large red magic circle that was made on the floor. Haru placing Asia gently in the centre of it as he walked out. Rias walking into the centre. Placing the scared gear back into Asia.

As Rias took out a bishop evil piece she chanted.

Rias: I command thee Asia Argento, on my name, Rias Gremory. Become my servant and once more return thy soul to this land and become a devil.

The magic circle was glowing a bright red light as the air began to change and flow differently.

Rias: THOU SHALL LEAD A NEW LIFE WITH GREAT JOY AS MY BISHOP!

The chanting wasn't necessary. Haru taught her that much. But Rias insisted it made the giving of a piece special. The bishop piece glowed brightly as the atmosphere entirely changed. Descending slowly into Asia in a bright light as the atmosphere returned to normal. There was silence as Asias eyes began to flicker. Raising as if she was sleeping. Stretching out.

Asia: Huh?... I... Who are... wait. Weren't you the one that saved me from Father Freed?

Asia looked at Haru.

Haru: {HOW DOES EVERYONE REMEMBER THAT NIGHT! I WAS WEARING A SKI MASK!} I... I guess so.

Harus eyes were a dead giveaway. On top of that he was wearing a very similar Kimono. He was a dead giveaway. And would have been even if he covered up, considering his taller size.

Rias: Nice to meet you Asia. My name is Rias Gremory. I think we have a lot to discuss.

Asia looked at Haru as if she was ask if it was safe. So he gave a little smile as she smiled a pure and innocent one. Haru walking out of the church.

Rias: WEAR SOMETHING NICE!

Haru heard from inside of the church. Giving a small smile as he disappeared.
