Ch 53 - Stopped Right At The End

It was a loss to Haru. Meaning another date with Rias. She promised Haru didn't have to drink alcohol and instead they went on a nice walk. They didn't have to dress nicely. It was just the two of them and the night sky. Stars in the clear sky as they walked down park paths. Talking. It was a different paced date but if was nice.

Rias: I'm really enjoying this date with you Haru. Being able to relax after the unofficial rating game is nice.

Haru: You actually impressed me. I would've never thought that you would copy my fighting style and the techniques just based off my slow practice and energy movement.

Rias: It's a shame I can't see you use those techniques for real.

Haru: If I need to fight for real people should be very worried. So you'll probably never need to see it.

Haru gave a slight laugh. If he needed to fight for real. This universe would be in a lot of trouble.

Haru: Though I'm wondering why you copied my fighting style. Your parents could have got you a combat teacher if you wanted to learn.

Rias: Well... I admire you Haru. I love you.

Haru stopped walking as Rias stopped to look back at Haru. Those words. "I love you." He didn't think they should have been coming from her mouth.

Haru: But why? All I did was be nice to you. {I don't deserve that love. I'd be stealing it.}

Rias: You are the closest thing I have Haru.

Haru: You have Akeno, your peerage. Your family. Friends.

Rias: And I think of you as closer than that. Haru you treated me with such kindness regardless of my value. You're a kind and loving person and I love that about you. I want to experience more of your kindness and love, among other things.

Haru: I... I don't deserve that. {I changed all of your lives. I stole you all. Maybe even putting the world on the line.}

Rias walked over to Haru and held his hand. Looking up to him and in his eyes.

Rias: What do you think of me Haru?

Haru: What?

Rias: How do you feel about me? Do you like me? Love me? Think of me as an annoyance...

Haru: I would never think that of you!

Rias: Then how do you feel about me? Not what you think you should feel or what you think is right.

Haru... had to be honest with himself. Rias, Akeno, Grayfia, Sirzechs. He loved them all.

Haru: I... Rias... I do love you. I love you a lot.

Rias: Why?

Haru: Your special to me. You became such a smart, strong woman. You're persistent in getting what you want. So much so you've gotten me to fall deeply in love with you.

Rias stared into Harus eyes. There was a tense moment. They both looked at each other. Haru had just confessed he loved someone he shouldn't. Both of them inched closer and closer. The moment got more and more tense. Until... it was cut. They both kissed under the moon and star. Harus heart was beating so hard. Holding Rias soft hands. Kissing her gentle lips. It was a slow, sweet, passionate kiss.

A red magic circle appeared below them as they appeared in Harus room. Haru backed up and sat on the bed. Rias straddled Haru as they kissed. Rias took off her top and bra revealing her bare chest. Her amazing breasts.

Haru looked at her chest. Teasing her nipples as she moaned. These were what Issei loved to touch. Issei... Issei.

Haru flipped over Rias as she laidback on the bed. Both looking at each others eyes.

Haru: I... I'm sorry I can't do this. Your... you're not supposed to be mine.

Haru got off as he left the room. Passing Grayfia and Sirzechs that listened in. Rias looking at the ceiling of the room. Grayfia and Sirzechs coming in.

Rias: Why... why does he do this? What does he mean I'm not supposed to be his?

Rias was nearly in tears. She had tried so long to make Haru love her. Years. She was so close. But when at the last moment... why did he leave.

Grayfia: What?

Rias: Haru. He... We were going all the way. But... he seemed to see something and say I'm not supposed to be his.

Grayfia looked at Rias as it finally clicked. She had completely forgotten about it but it all made sense now.

Grayfia: That's why he's so against it!

Sirzechs: What?

Grayfia: Hundreds of years ago Haru said he had a power that let him see the future one time. That's how he's so good at investing. But maybe he saw a lot more than just profitable companies.

It took a while. But then it clicked for Sirzechs.

Sirzechs: You mean... our lives?

Grayfia: What else could it be? "You're not supposed to be mine." It must be eating him up inside that he knows who we're actually supposed to be with. If we were happy with that person that must have made it all the more worse for him.

Sirzechs: So what? Haru was meant to stay stuck in the Dimensional Gap and we never knew him? We would have completely different lives?

Rias was listening to the two talk. When she realised something. It was all piecing itself together.

Rias: He knows the future?... Oh my god!

Rias grabbed her shirt and threw it on. Running out of the room.

Rias: HARU!

Grayfia: HE'LL BE AT THE WORLD TREE OR HIS OLD HOME CLOSE TO IT!

Grayfia shouted making sure Rias would know where to go.

Sirzechs: I wonder what our lives would have been like without him.

Grayfia: Well I would be dead so that's not good.

Sirzechs: Hmmmm. If that were true I would probably be single for the rest of my life.

Grayfia: Awwww. Did I mean that much to you?

Grayfia teased. Sirzechs gave a small blush. The two gently kissed.

Sirzechs: I wonder who Rias would have ended up with though? It's definitely not Riser because Haru wouldn't feel so bad.

Grayfia: It's pointless to think about it now. Would him telling you change if you love him or not? Even if it was me in the end?

Sirzechs looked at Grayfia. She really loved Grayfia, she always would. But she had come to love Haru a lot over the years.

Sirzechs: Not really.

Grayfia: And I hope that's what Haru realises.
