Ch 57 - Protection Detail

All the school clubs were having a sports tournament. As a teacher Haru couldn't root for anyone. But he was definitely rooting for Rias, Akeno, Asia, Kiba and Koneko. The only real team fighting against them was the student council. All the other teams trying to actively avoid competing with the team. The team made of the most popular people in school. Rias and Akeno being resounding beauties in the school, Koneko being the school mascot, Asia being the most innocent person anyone ever knew and Kiba being the Prince of Kuoh Academy.

Haru enjoyed watching them play. Rias in her tennis uniform was surprisingly hot. Especially her competitive nature and the fierce match that ensued with Sona. It was an extremely fun match to watch. Though his eye wasn't often on the tennis ball.

However, Harus plan had worked. The original cannon was slowly back on track. Kiba was completely out of it. Staring out into space. It was obvious when a ball hit him in the head and he exploded in bloodlust. Everyone in the sports hall terrified besides Haru who felt like crap every time he did something like this. When Kiba realised where he was the bloodlust disappeared. Rias looked at Kiba as they went out in the rain. Haru expected the same exact thing to happen. But instead of slapping Kiba she placed both her hands on his shoulders. Looking him in the eyes.

Rias: Kiba are you ok? Usually in team matches your head is in the game and your heart is with the team. But I've noticed after Haru spoke to you, you've seemed to be vacant. What's the matter Kiba?

Kiba looked down in loss as Haru watched hidden away. But even with Rias being nice and caring the same thing happened. Kiba may have felt worse because of it. But he realised more that he was in a peerage he loved.

Kiba: I'm sorry. It's not Mr Gakias fault. I just don't seem to be feeling very well today. I don't think I'll be an effective knight for you right now. Please allow me to take a break from the club activities for a moment.

Rias: S-Sure. {Kiba.}

And without Issei Kiba just walked off. Haru following him to make sure he didn't accidentally die. When Rias went back inside she had noticed Haru was gone. She had been watching him to tease him later but now she was confused. What was happening around her?

Time skip

Haru was watching Kiba. He seemed extremely depressed after what Haru told him. All the pieces were aligning. Haru was ready to protect Kiba as there was a charging Freed going to attack him. But Kiba reacted in self defence as he blocked the attack.

Haru looked at the holy sword that Freed was wielding. A handle with an irregular blade shape. More blades curving off of the initial blade coming from the hilt.

Haru: {I wonder. I haven't displayed a weakness to Light Power. I assume that because of my Dragon God biology, I'm unnaturally strong, or my energy protects me from it? Either way, I wonder if I should combine the holy swords to my Half Sword. In fact I wonder which one's stronger.}

Haru watched as Kiba managed to fight off Freed. Freed running away, not of fear or because he was losing. It looked like he had somewhere else to be. As if someone called him back. Haru wasn't going to intervene in what may have happened in the cannon and Kiba could handle himself. Harus worries were dispelled by Kibas better show of power. Easily fending off Freed. But out of fun and for old times sake. Haru pressed his power. Gacha (EX).

The machine appeared on the roof Haru was standing on as Haru looked at the red lever he had missed. Pulling it down as the slots span fast. Faster and faster. Even when Haru tired to speed up himself to try and guess what letter the slots would land on. The slots kept spinning the same speed which was a little bit of a surprise. They then began to slow down as they landed on their letters.

Haru pressed the cold steel sword picked up a small stick on the roof, turning it into a long silver cold steel hair pin. Then looking at his powers. The most he had ever received at once.

[Acting Genius (F) - The power gives you the ability to act so perfectly it's no different from natural and it's nearly impossible to tell you are acting for the normal person.]

[Spiritual Attack Nullification (A) - This power completely negates any mental and spiritual control or damage.]

[Composition (C) - This power leads you to greater result when you pursue something with stronger desire for longer. Mastery growth rate will increase if you focus and work on a particular move for longer than a certain duration. It also offers small increases in focus and mental strength.]

[Musical Arts Mastery (F) - You are a master at all musical instruments and singing. You'll have perfect pitch.]

Haru: Hmmmm.

Haru disappeared as he went to Asias house.

Scene change

*Knock Knock Knock*

Haru was standing outside as Asia opened the door a crook, looking at Asia and then opening it all the way. She opened the door as she was wearing nothing but a yellow apron.

Asia: Nice...

Before Asia could even finish her sentence. Haru wrapped Asia in his arms and kissed her passionately. Lovingly. It was gentle and innocent.

Haru: I'm home my love.

Haru said sincerely as Asia became a blushing mess.

Asia: I-I-I... I made... d-dinner.

Haru: Dinner with you? A dream.

Asia became flustered as Haru carried her in his arms to the kitchen. Pulling out her chair and gently placing her in. Severing dinner for both of them as Haru begun his stay with Asia. But again. Something completely different was going on inside Harus head.

Haru: {WHY CAN I NOT CONTROL THIS POWER AGAIN?! *Sigh* It took me nearly a hundred years to become somewhat normal. Well I guess I should just have fun with it. Asia is looking lovely today... IS IT AFFECTING MY MIND?! Though... That doesn't take away from the fact she looks adorable, innocent, yet really beautiful and hot. Every time I see her... *Sigh* This power man.}
