Ch 21 - New Relationships

Everyone was sitting around the table in silence. Haru could feel the tension that didn't seem to break. So while he was drinking his apple juice he decided to cut that tension. Slightly flicking his hand.

Sirzechs: Grayfia please come back. I... I didn't mean to laugh at the idea of having a family with you.

Sirzechs pleaded to Grayfia over the table. To the opposite side there was Grayfia, looking at Sirzechs. Haru at the head of the table still enjoying his apple juice.

Grayfia: Then do you want a family? To have one with me. Children. Their children. The children after that. Do you want that Sirzechs?

Sirzechs looked at Grayfia as she was serious. Sirzechs couldn't speak. She didn't know what to say. What could she say so Grayfia would stay?

Sirzechs: I...

Grayfia: You still don't to have children, don't you. You want me, but not the family I want.

Sirzechs: SO YOU PICK HIM!

Sirzechs slammed her hands on the table as she stood up enraged. Her emotions seemed to flicker around easily. Like a flame. Haru took a small sip of his apple juice as he was about to correct her.

Haru: We're...

Grayfia: Yes. I want him.

Even with the choker that calmed his mind and his power Haru slightly chocked on his apple juice as he looked at Grayfia. He liked Grayfia a lot but he didn't realise she liked him too.

Sirzechs: BUT WHY HIM OVER ME?! WE... WE LOVED EACH OTHER! I... I thought you wanted to get married. I-I-I still love you Greyfia.

Grayfia: I... I still love you too. But... I... I love Haru more. Over the years and the time I've spent with him. I realised, that I want to be his. He may be overly romantic, but he's everything and more. He saved my life, took care of me, he let me stay in his home when it was getting too much. I owe him everything and I want to give him everything.

The fact Grayfia liked Haru so sincerely only made Sirzechs angrier. It was jealousy.

Sirzechs: HE... HE JUST SEDUCED YOU! THATS ALL IT IS! A HANDSOME FACE, A GOOD BODY AND A WAY WITH WORDS!

Haru: That a bit reductive.

Sirzechs: SHUT IT!

Sirzechs looked at Haru but all she was met with was an intense glare at her as she shook. Meekly sitting back down. Back in her chair.

Grayfia: I also wanted to ask you something Haru.

Haru looked at Grayfia with a soft look.

Haru: Ask me anything.

Grayfia: I... I told you about the evil pieces. And... I wanted to ask. Would you be my king?

Sirzechs: WHAT?! YOU... YOU CAN'T DO THAT! HE DOESN'T EVEN RANK AS A LOW CLASS DEVIL!

Sirzechs was losing her. Grayfia was supposed to be her queen. She was about to lose her completely. Someone she loved.

Grayfia: I'm transferring all my recent achievements to him. Both military and contracts. That's more than enough to make him a high class devil.

Sirzechs: YOU CAN'T TRANSFER YOUR MILITARY ACHIEVEMENT! CONTRACTS YES BUT NOT ACHIEVEMENT YOU EARNED!

Grayfia: Their not mine though. Every single piece of information I got about the Unholy Angels is what Haru found out. So I can.

Sirzechs realised. Grayfia, the reason she had been doing so many more contracts over the years. It was for Haru.

Sirzechs: No. That's... thats why you were taking on so many contracts. Just so... just so you can give them all to him.

Sirzechs looked at Grayfia as it seemed like she was slipping further and further away.

Grayfia: Haru. Please start going out with me. You said years ago that you didn't want to leave because there was nothing anywhere for you. But... I want to be there for you. I want to be the reason you can leave. So... can I be yours?

Haru looked at Sirzechs and then at Grayfia.

Haru: Are you sure? You still seem to have feelings for Sirzechs. You nearly got married.

Grayfia: I'm sure.

Grayfia looked certain this is what she wanted. Haru developed a small smile.

Haru: Then I'd be honoured to be in a relationship with you Grayfia.

Sirzechs: But... I... I love you Grayfia.

Sirzechs was on the edge of tears as she looked at the two of them.

Grayfia: Please understand Sirzechs. You'll be my first. But... you're not the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Haru: {ARE THESE NOT WORDS OF PROPOSAL?! And Sirzechs... oh my god she's crying! Why do I feel like shit? It's like I stole someone's wife. But... *Sigh* this could get a really bad... or good reaction. There's no in between with this.} Grayfia do you still love her?

Grayfia: I'm sorry but I don't know if those are feelings I can lose. But I...

Haru: There's no need to say anymore. Grayfia I think what I feel for you really is love. You've been everything to me over these years. But you still love Sirzechs and she still loves you. So I want to ask you something. Do you... do you all want to go out?

Both of them looked at Haru surprised.

Grayfia & Sirzechs: What?

Haru: I know, I know. Very bad idea. But it feels like I'm stealing someone else's wife. I would also feel wrong to let her just go out with you when you're with me. So as to have everyone happy. Grayfia, would you like if Sirzechs could be in our relationship.

Grayfia: Like a harem?

Grayfia slightly tilted her head, looking at Haru. But her face didn't seem like an angry or annoyed one. So Haru assumed he had a great idea. Poly relationship were not unheard of in his old world.

Haru: More pol...

Haru was interrupted before her could correct her.

Sirzechs: I ACCEPT! HARU, I MAY NOT LIKE YOU BUT I'LL BE IN YOUR HAREM IF I CAN BE WITH GRAYFIA!

Haru: Not a ha...

Again Haru was interrupted before he could correct either of them.

Grayfia: Haru, if you do this will you promise me one thing? I'm your one. I want to take the relationship slower but I want to go all the way with you.

Haru: I'd have it no other way Grayfia. But I didn't...

Interrupted again. He was happy Grayfia was happy. And he felt less bad now. But... they were very mistaken about what he meant.

Grayfia: Then we can have a harem. But any girls that join have to come to me ok?

Grayfia showed a scary aura as it sounded like a statement more than a question.

Haru: {...} Yes. {I don't even think I can take it back at this point.}

Grayfia got up as her aura disappeared. Hugging Haru softly.

Grayfia: I really do love you Haru. You've meant everything to me over these years.

Haru: You've been my everything. Sirzechs. Want to join the hug?

Sirzechs blushed as she looked at Haru. Looking away.

Sirzechs: I... I... FINE!

Sirzechs joined the hug as she was hugging Grayfia more than Haru. But still in her head she could hear a "Good girl." Blushing brightly as she looked at Haru. Hugging both of them peacefully.
