Ch 40 - Teacher or Bodyguard

Haru had been a very close person to Rias as she grew up. She often came to him when she was younger to play and train. Often coming to hug Haru which she liked. Sometimes coming to complain about life and Haru listened. As she grew up it seemed her childhood was taking a different direction. She ran away from home. Only to just live at Harus for a bit. Grayfia and Sirzechs taking care of her before she returned back home to her parents. As she got older she began to become more resilient as Haru said. Training diligently and becoming much more mature. She was developing her peerage. Haru already meeting Akeno and Koneko. Akeno was more than friendly to Haru. Often clinging onto him like Rias did. And Haru put himself in Konekos good graces. Through bribery of sweets. Haru had also met his favourite DxD character. Though... he let that one go for a later meeting.

Rias had also been getting more mature. Though there were squabbles between Akeno and Rias. All over Haru. Rias had become really attached to Haru. Whenever Rias and Akeno were over Grayfia and Sirzechs had to help separate them or things would get... explosive. Haru just kept ahold of Koneko as they watched the argument. Haru feeding her sweets. Though it seemed like Grayfia and Sirzechs had sides in the fighting Akeno and Rias had. Which only made Harus life harder.

Much like the problem he was having now. Rias had still decided to take up school in the human world. Regardless of how little she cared about the titles she was given by high rank Devils. Specifically in a school called Kuoh Academy. An all girls school. Rias told Haru the exact reason she wanted to leave and he agreed with it. It was a good reason. She had always found nobility hard and Haru knew better than anyone, the high class devils were mostly obnoxious assholes. But the problem right now stemmed from what was happening because Rias was going to a school on the human world.

Sirzechs: PLEASE!!!

Sirzechs, Grayfia and Haru were in their bedroom. All standing up.

Haru: I'm not going to be a bodyguard that watches over her. She's old enough to take care of herself. The whole point she left was to get away.

Grayfia: I heard there was more fallen angel activity in the area. And one sighting of an Unholy Angel.

Haru: Grayfia. I thought you were on my side?!

Grayfia: I'm on the side of what Rias and Akeno want.

Haru: What?

Grayfia: They both want you to be a teacher at the school. Besides you love Japan. You wear Kimonos all the time.

Haru: There comfortable!

Grayfia: Your recent hobby of watching anime.

Haru: Anime is great! {I WAITED THOUDANDS OF YEARS FOR IT! MY OLD FUN!}

Grayfia: You like their food.

Haru: They make good food.

Sirzechs: You like teaching Rias.

Haru: Literally her and her peerage are my only friends.

Grayfia: That was a really sad sentence. That's also why I said you should have developed relationships with other devils.

Haru: I tried to be friends with Ajuka but we just don't get along that well. Besides others see me as a political tool... Actually! I'm friends with Serafall! We enjoy our common interest in culture!

Grayfia: One person nearly near your age.

Haru: Define nearly. I'm older than all the Satans combined.

Grayfia: Fair point. However, you're going. Protect Rias.

Haru: What about my territory?

Grayfia: You can come back after teaching hours and inform me of what you want to do. Otherwise I can do daily activities. Besides I know you'll come back for that~.

Haru: But... you and Sirzechs.

Sirzechs: We will still be here after your teaching hours. Please. This is my sister. Please protect her.

Haru: *Sigh* Fine.

Sirzechs: Great! And if she says anything about me trying to seduce her, just ignore that.

Haru: Wha...

Haru was gone in a red magic circle. Rias and Akeno in front of him with the Kuoh Academy uniform on. Inside an old building. Both of the girl smiled widely as they looked extremely happy Haru appeared. But not surprised by his appearance.

Rias: HARU YOU CAME!

A raven hair girl with Rias hugged Haru as he was trapped. No where to run or go to.

Haru: Can whoever doing what they're doing... Akeno no hands there. Stop.

Rias: I ALREADY TOLD YOU HE'S MINE!

Rias shouted looking over at Akeno. Hugging Haru on his other side.

Akeno: You also said his marriage is a harem. So if I can convince him I'm free to join.

Akeno giggled and smiled.

Rias: THATS NOT WHAT I MEANT AND YOU KNOW IT!

Haru: {The Dimensional Gaps looking really peaceful now.}

This had been a Harus life for a while. Rias seemed to get really attached to Haru. Often when she was younger crying when she had to go back home. Only turning into an unhealthy obsession when she began to grow up. Though with Harus constant persistent asking, Rias tried to give Haru more space... tried.

Akeno... also seemed to want Haru. Knowing full well he was already married. But wanting to join in on his small harem. Haru took it as a joke first. Much like he did when Rias was saying it when she was younger. But he was thinking this was beginning to be less and less of a joke as they were pulling on his arms like he was a  Christmas cracker.

Haru: {This is an all girls school. For the next 2 years... Why... why?}

Rias: BIG SIS ALREADY INVITED ME TO JOIN! HE'S MINE!

Rias pulled on Harus left arm hard. Haru didn't even care anymore. He had no clue where he went wrong. He was pretty sure he was a good friend. Giving no reason to assume otherwise.

Akeno: GRAYFIA SAID IF I CAN SEDUCE HIM THEN I COULD JOIN! SHE GIVING ME THE GREEN FLAG!

Akeno pulled hard on his right arm. Haru just there thinking of what his wives were thinking. Sirzechs was an even bigger sis-con than in the anime. Straight up loving his sister. Though one-sidedly. Grayfia also was a lot more open to Haru having a harem than Haru was with the actual idea. Which was extremely weird.

Haru: You know... you're both arguing over nothing.

Rias & Akeno: Huh?

Haru: If you've both been given the green light by your respective parties. Your goal isn't winning me as if you two are competing. It's a Harem. Not 3rd place.

Rias and Akeno looked at each other as they both smiled. Hugging Haru tightly.

Haru: {I... I should have just kept my mouth shut. Though at least they're not fighting anymore... which could be much worse. I definitely need to talk with Grayfia and Sirzechs when I get back home. *Sigh*} It's nice to see you two as well.

Haru hugged them. Not wanting it to seem like he hated them. In fact it was the opposite. These two were really close to Haru. Rias, quite literally his best-friend besides Serraful. Akeno and Haru were also great friends. Haru was just... not quite ready for why his wives were planning.
