[3 Years Later...]

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Your father wouldn't let go of your hand. You were worried it would take a crowbar to tear his hand off. You smiled warmly and kissed his forehead. "Yes, father. We'll be okay." You hugged him tightly, your grip extremely tight on him.

"And your training? Oh, do make sure to tell us about your training. When is your next appointment with the doctor?" Your dad hugged you, leaving Wally awkwardly beside the train station post. "Next week. That's why we're moving, remember? So it's not such a long way away from the doctors." You chuckled and pulled away from them both. You could see the concern on their faces.

"I just hate how often you have to see them." Your dad groaned, crossing his arms. You were quite busy now, having physical training to control your new strengths and appointments with a doctor weekly to check on your body.

As well as a husband with whom you could rarely have privacy, living with your parents. Wally had taken a job at a research lab, now having his own boss to listen to.

And no matter how bad it hurt knowing you were leaving your parents again, you were excited to be free from the chains of your past forever.

"Dad." You said firmly, clutching his shoulders. "We'll be alright." You felt your throat grow a lump as the train whistle screeched, signaling your cue to board. "I love you guys." You hugged them both tightly one last time. They then hastily hugged Wally, stepping back as you two hustled onto the train.

The two of you settled in your seats. You took the window seat, having to firmly fight Wally for it. You looked out at your parents. Your dad, being himself, was waving the same tacky handkerchief he waved the day you went to the greenhouse. Such sentimental fools you all were.

You teared up in your left eye, your robotic eye unable to feel other than desperation to cry. You waved goodbye to them both until the train took them out of your sight. You stared out the window for a minute, rushing past all of the memories of all these years.

The forests are left completely alone without a factory clogging up its foliage, then your village casts a colorful glow on the night sky. The beauty of taking the night train made you even more overwhelmed. You then looked at the old oak tree on the hill.

And before you could become even more emotional, it all disappeared.

You turned your head back to the front. Wally took your hand, holding it up to his mouth. He placed a sweet and sincere kiss on it. "Are you as worried as I am about moving to the city?" You whispered, leaning your head against his shoulder.

"Terrified." He rested your two hands down on the armrest, coming up with a solution to you two having to fight over who got the opportunity to hog it. "But I have a gut feeling that as long as we're together, we'll find a way." He smirked, looking down at you.

"How come I have all of these new god-like gifts and abilities yet somehow my anxiety is just as bad as ever?" You chuckled, joking like some Wattpad main character.

"Even immortals have crippling fear." He shrugged, causing your head to bob up. "No shit." You snickered. You can no longer look back at your past now. Physically and mentally.

"What are we going to do for winter break, [Name]?" Wally leaned his head against yours comfortably. "Whatever the hell we want, I guess." You shrugged, patting his head.
