As my gaze continued staring into the private booth, a sense of unease crept over me like a shadow. There, hidden in the slight darkness of the club, the figure sat, emitting an aura of sinister charm. Cloaked in a long red coat, with contrasting gold buttons, the slender figure was reclined with an air of effortless refinement. His coat clung to him, accentuating the sleek lines of his form, while a contrasting fluffy collar framed his angular face. The fluffy collar itself, was littered with red hearts, going in an upward line. The white fluff around his neck contrasted his unique purple skin. Perched atop his head was a fancy hat, red with a black and white pattern on it, either side of the top of his hat were two antennas. Heart-shaped glasses adorned the creatures face, casting the world in a rosy hue. As intriguing as this entity is, his smile is what has captured my attention; a smirk that hinted at hidden depths. As he raised a cigarette to his lips, a trail of red heart shaped smoke crept upwards. Who is that? What is that? Looks like some sort of bug. Looking into his eyes from across the crowded room, set my nerves on edge.

As I sat there, unable to take my gaze away from the mysterious soul in the booth, anticipation eating away at my stomach. Abruptly disturbing my train of thought, a cocktail appeared before me, a tall angular glass, with an elusive pink liquid inside. I glanced up from the drink, but the bartenders focus was elsewhere, leaving me wondering who sent this drink. I picked up the glass with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension, I take a sip of the pink drink. As the liquid hits my tongue, I am taken aback by its unanticipated potency, I could feel the fiery sting of alcohol going down my throat. As I go to lower the glass, I notice a small slip of paper stuck to the bottom, barely visible. I feel a knot in my stomach as I lift the paper up and read the dainty note. A simple message is revealed 'come join me', written in refined cursive. The style of the writing alone, tells me this belongs to my mysterious friend at the back of the bar.

With a surge of nerves, I push my chair back and rose from the seat and made my way across the crowded club. As I approach the booth, the figure looks up at me, his eyes gleaming. Without a word, he gestured for me to take a seat, his smile slightly rising in the corners of his mouth. As I settle into the booth by the enigmatic figure, a sense of anticipation hangs in the air. His eyes bore into me with a deep intensity as he regarded me, a slight flicker of amusement hid behind his rose-coloured glasses. Silently, he reached out a hand, his fingers embellished with gold rings, that glinted under the lights of the club. "Valentino", he introduced himself, his voice smooth yet shaded with danger. "Nice to meet you", I replied unable to hide my nervousness in my voice.

As the silence stretched between us, I couldn't help but feel immensely curious. "What are you?" I asked, unable to contain my curiosity any longer. A sly smile curved his lips, as he leaned back, the shadows adhering to him, like a second skin. "I am a moth", he cryptically replied, his eyes sparkling with amusement at my perplexity. "A moth?" I repeated, unable to hide my confusion, "But you look human?". He chuckled "Appearances can be deceiving, my dear. Especially down here, nothing is quite as it seems". As I ponder these words, a feeling of unease crept over me.

Valentino leaned forward, his gaze piercing, with a newfound intensity. "And what about you, my dear? What brings a soul like yours to my humble abode?" he inquired; his voice laced with slight amusement. I faltered, unsure of what information I should be revealing to this man. "I...I'm not quite sure, I just arrived here", I admitted. A knowing smile played at the corner of his lips, as he leaned back in his seat again, appearing satisfied with my response. "How intriguing", he started, his accent adding an exotic edge to his words. He lifted up his hand, revealing the same cigarette I was watching earlier. The flicker of a flame, illuminated his features in a soft, warm light. He brought the cigarette to his lips, taking a long drag before exhaling a cloud of fragrant smoke into the air. As the smoke curled around is, I couldn't help but inhale it's intoxicating aroma. What is up with this smoke, it smells so different to regular cigarette smoke, its almost sweet smelling. With each breath, a sense of relaxation washes over me, temporarily melting away any tension I felt inside. I could see Valentino, observing my reaction, that same amused glint appeared in his eyes, along with... satisfaction.

As our conversation continued, his questions grew more intrusive, delving deeper and deeper into my past. I was aware of this, I had this uncomfortable feeling inside, yet I still kept opening up, revealing more and more of my soul to him. Throughout the conversation, I couldn't help but notice his accent, it came and went, the tones weaving a spell of fascination around me. Though I couldn't place its origin, there was something hypnotic about how he spoke, a seductive allure that drew me in despite my better judgement. As our conversation continue to unfold, a new presence suddenly hovered over us.
