As the first light of dawn filters through the curtains, I gradually awaken to the sensation of something gently prodding my side. Blinking sleep from my eyes, I turn to see Vox leaning over me, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Good morning, sleepy" he greets me, his voice warm with affection. "I hate to wake you, but it's your first day back at work, and you did say you should head in early".. His eyes sparkle with anticipation, and I can't help but smile back at him. Wrapping my arms around him, I pull him closer, relishing the warmth of his embrace. "Thanks for the wake-up call" I say softly, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "I appreciate it. And thanks for being so supportive, Vox. I don't know what I'd do without you". He returns the embrace, holding me close as he whispers, "Anytime, my love. I'll always be here for you" With a contented sigh, I reluctantly untangle myself from his arms, knowing that duty calls. But as I prepare to face the day ahead, I'm grateful for the unwavering support and love that Vox continues to offer me, day in and day out.

"Hey" I murmur, "Do you think it's worth taking Val a coffee in? Maybe it'll help warm him up a bit, since he wasn't too happy the last time he saw me". Vox considers my suggestion for a moment, his brow furrowing in thought. "It couldn't hurt" he finally replies, his tone gentle. "But just be careful, okay? I don't want you getting caught in the crossfire if he's in a foul mood today". I nod, grateful for his concern. "Thanks. I'll be careful, I promise." With a determined glint in my eye, I rise from the bed and get changed for the day ahead. As I slip into my favorite pair of form-fitting jeans, I feel them hugging my curves in all the right places, accentuating my figure. Pulling on an oversized cropped t-shirt, its soft fabric drapes loosely over me, offering comfort with a touch of style. I admire my reflection in the mirror, pleased with the casual yet chic ensemble that exudes confidence and effortless charm. Ready to face the day ahead, I head out the door with a sense of determination.

With a coffee in hand, I stride down the hallway of the studio, my steps echoing softly against the polished floor. Reaching Valentino's office door, I take a deep breath and knock, the sound crisp and purposeful in the quiet corridor. My heart beats a little faster as I wait for a response, I feel anticipation mingling with nerves. Valentino's voice, smooth and commanding, invites me in, and I push open the door, stepping into his office. The room is dimly lit, with the faint scent of cigar smoke lingering in the air. Valentino is seated behind his desk, a smirk playing on his lips as he watches me enter. His gaze sweeps over me, assessing, as I approach.

"Morning" I greet sheepishly, my nerves fluttering as I extend the coffee towards Valentino. He accepts it with a smirk, his eyes glinting mischievously as he takes a sip. "Trying to butter me up, huh?" he teases, raising an eyebrow in mock suspicion. "I must say, I'm surprised Vox actually let you come back to work". I chuckle nervously, hoping my attempt at friendliness will smooth over any lingering tension between us. "Well, you know me, always trying to keep things amicable and I do have a job to do" I reply, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies swirling in my stomach. He leans back in his chair, studying me with a calculating gaze. "Indeed" he muses, swirling the coffee in his cup. "So, what brings you here this fine morning? Not that I'm complaining, mind you. Always a pleasure to see such a lovely face". I blush at his compliment, feeling both flattered and uneasy under his intense scrutiny.

"Just wanted to touch base before I get started" I explain, shifting nervously on my feet. "Make sure everything's in order for the day ahead".  He nods, his smirk widening into a playful grin. "Well, I'm sure you'll handle everything with your usual grace and charm" he says, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "But do let me know if you need any... assistance". I force a polite smile, mentally bracing myself for whatever antics Valentino has in store for me today. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind". I reply, hoping my voice doesn't betray the unease I feel. "I've got a little task for you today" he says, his tone casual but his eyes gleaming with mischief. "There's a stack of paperwork that needs sorting in the admin room. I trust you can handle it?". I nod, suppressing a sigh of resignation. "Of course" I reply, forcing a smile despite my growing sense of dread. "I'll get right on it". As I turn to leave, I can't shake the feeling that he's is enjoying my discomfort a little too much. But I push the thought aside, steeling myself for the tedious task ahead.
