With Charlie and Vaggie bidding us goodnight and heading upstairs, the atmosphere in the room shifted slightly as the group dwindled down to just Pen, Angel, Husk, Vox, and myself. The drinks flowed freely, and the conversation took on a more relaxed and intimate tone as we settled in for the remainder of the evening. "So, what's next on the agenda?" Pen asked, taking a swig of his drink. "Another round of poker, perhaps?". Vox chuckled, shaking his head. "I think we've had enough of that for one night" he replied, earning nods of agreement from the rest of us. Angel raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "How about a game of Truth or Dare?" he suggested, a playful smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. Husk scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Please, I'm too old for that nonsense" he remarked dryly, though there was a hint of amusement in his tone. I laughed, the idea of playing Truth or Dare bringing back memories of carefree nights spent with friends. "Come on, Husk, where's your sense of adventure?" I teased, nudging him playfully. Vox grinned, clearly intrigued by the suggestion. "I'm in" he declared, his eyes sparkling with excitement.  Pen shrugged, appearing indifferent. "I'm game" he said, his expression reflecting a mixture of curiosity and mild apprehension. Angel grinned, "Let's play properly—none of that 'truth' nonsense" With unanimous agreement, we settled into a circle, ready to embark on a new round of fun and games.

With a mischievous glint in his eyes, Angel leaned forward and gave the bottle a firm spin. We watched with anticipation as it twirled around before coming to a stop, pointing squarely at Sir Pentious. He grinned nervously, clearly unsure of what was to come. "Alright, what's my dare?" he asked, a hint of trepidation in his voice. Angel wasted no time in delivering his challenge. "I dare you to do an impression of Alastor" he declared, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. His eyes widened in surprise at the unexpected request, but he was a good sport and rose to the challenge. With a deep breath, he adopted a theatrical pose and began to mimic Alastor's distinctive mannerisms and speech patterns. His impression was surprisingly spot-on, capturing Alastor's charismatic yet eerie presence perfectly. As he hammed it up for the audience, Vox couldn't contain his laughter, doubling over with amusement at Pen's comedic performance. Even Angel joined in the laughter, clapping enthusiastically. As he concluded his impression of Alastor with a flourish, I couldn't help but burst into laughter along with Vox. "That was brilliant!" I exclaimed, wiping tears of mirth from my eyes. "You really nailed it!". Vox nodded in agreement, still chuckling at Pen's comedic performance. "Absolutely" he managed to say between laughs. "I haven't laughed that hard in ages".

As the bottle slowed to a stop, its neck pointing directly at me, all eyes turned expectantly in my direction. "Looks like it's your turn", Sir Pentious said with a mischievous grin, clearly relishing the opportunity to challenge me. I took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself for whatever dare he had in store. "Alright, hit me with it" I said, trying to sound confident despite the butterflies fluttering in my stomach. His grin widened as he leaned forward, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "I dare you to put 3 ice cubes in your mouth, you have to leave them till they melt". As he delivered his dare, a chorus of laughter filled the room. "Three ice cubes? That's it?" I exclaimed, feigning disappointment. "I was expecting something a bit more challenging!". Nevertheless, I dutifully rose from my seat and made my way to the kitchen, where I retrieved three ice cubes from the freezer, I returned to the table. As I popped the first ice cube into my mouth, I couldn't help but grimace at the sudden coldness. "Brrr... it's freezing!" I exclaimed, with a playful shiver running down my spine. Water began to dribble down my chin as the ice slowly melted, eliciting a round of laughter from the group.

"Hey, don't drip all over the table!" Vox teased, flashing me a mischievous grin. "We don't need an impromptu flood in here". I shot him a mock glare, trying my best to suppress a smile. "Oh, hush" I retorted, causing Angel to chuckle beside me. Meanwhile, Sir Pentious leaned back in his chair, a satisfied grin on his face. "Well, I must say, this is quite entertaining" he remarked, surveying the scene with amusement. "Perhaps I should have dared you to balance them on your head instead". I rolled my eyes, attempting to stifle a laugh as I navigated the challenge of keeping the ice cubes in place. "Hey, at least we'll have some peace and quiet from you for a couple of moments," Angel teased, earning a round of chuckles from the others. I shot him a mock glare before settling back into my seat, determined to see the dare through to the end.
