After purchasing the outfit, we head to the grocery store, Vox looking pleased with his new attire. As we walk, he casually slips his hand into mine, our fingers intertwining effortlessly. It's a simple gesture, but it fills me with warmth and contentment. We enter the grocery store, the fluorescent lights illuminate the aisles, casting a sterile glow over the shelves stocked with an array of goods. Vox surveys the scene with mild interest, tucking his hand casually into his pockets. "Alright, let's see what we need," he says, glancing down at the shopping list I'd hastily scrawled earlier. "Any preferences?". I shrug, scanning the aisles thoughtfully. "Not really. Maybe some fresh fruits and veggies for a change?". He nods in agreement, and we make our way to the produce section. The vibrant colors and earthy aromas instantly lift our spirits as we select ripe tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and an assortment of other goodies. As we move on to the next aisle, Vox's eyes light up when he spots a display of his favorite snacks. "Ah, jackpot!" he exclaims, reaching for a bag of devilishly spicy chips. I chuckle, shaking my head at his enthusiasm. "Do we really need those?". He grins mischievously, tossing the bag into our cart. "Of course we do. It's all about balance, my dear".

We continue our journey through the store, chatting and laughing as we check off items from our list. Vox's effortless charm and playful banter make even the most mundane tasks feel like an adventure. As we approach the checkout counter, our cart brimming with groceries, Vox leans in close, his voice low and playful. "I should recruit you as my personal assistant" Vox suggests with a playful grin, as we load our groceries onto the conveyor belt at the checkout counter. I chuckle at his comment. "Unfortunately for you, I'm already Val's right-hand woman" I reply, flashing him a teasing smile. Vox feigns disappointment, but there's a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Ah, a missed opportunity then" he quips, his tone dripping with faux regret. As we pay for our purchases and make our way out of the store, Vox takes my hand in his, a warm smile on his lips. "Well, even if you can't be my personal assistant, I'm grateful to have you as my shopping partner" he says sincerely. I smile back at him, feeling a rush of affection for the demon beside me. "Likewise, Vox" I reply, squeezing his hand gently. With our bags in tow, we head back home, ready to unwind and enjoy the rest of the day together.

As I start putting away the groceries, Vox leans against the kitchen counter, his arms folded across his chest as he watches me with a fond smile. "You know, you make even the most mundane tasks look enjoyable" he remarks, his voice warm with affection. I glance over at him and grin. "Well, I've had plenty of practice" I reply, reaching for a jar of pasta sauce and placing it on the shelf. "Besides, it's not so bad when I have such great company". He chuckles softly, his eyes sparkling with amusement. He nods appreciatively, his eyes lingering on me for a moment longer before he offers to help. "Need a hand with anything?," he asks, as he steps closer, his hand finding its way around my waist in a comforting embrace. I can't help but smile at the unexpected gesture, feeling a rush of warmth at his touch. "You know, just having you here is enough" I say softly, leaning into his embrace as I continue with the task at hand. His touch is comforting, his presence reassuring, and for a moment, it feels as though the world has faded away, leaving just the two of us in our own little bubble of tranquility. As we stand together in the kitchen, surrounded by the simple pleasures of everyday life, I can't help but feel grateful for moments like these, when it's the little things – a touch, a smile, a shared silence – that mean the most.

"So, what's on the agenda for the rest of the day?" I ask, eager to hear his plans. He considers for a moment before replying, "I thought we could relax for a bit, maybe watch a movie or catch up on some reading. And then, if you're up for it, I could whip up something special for dinner". I smile at the thought of spending a cozy evening together. "That sounds perfect" I say, turning to face him.  Vox returns my smile, his eyes warm with affection. "Great, then it's settled," he says, "But first, how about we make ourselves comfortable?". We move from the kitchen to the living room, his touch grounding and comforting. The soft light casts a cozy glow over the room as we settle onto the couch, side by side. I lean into him, savoring the closeness, feeling his presence like a steady heartbeat beside me. Vox returns my smile, his eyes warm with affection.
