(Small recap for those of you who skipped the last chapter. We obviously got our freak on with the flatscreen TV, as you do. Part of that interaction was the conversation of 'what we are', so we are now dating)

As the morning light filters through the curtains, I find myself tangled up with Vox, a contented smile playing on my lips as I watch him sleep. With a mischievous twinkle in my eye, I gently straddle him, feeling the warmth of his body beneath me. As he begins to stir, I lean in closer, my voice laced with playful affection. "Good morning" I tease, planting a soft kiss on his screen. "Rise and shine". He grumbles softly, his eyes fluttering open to meet mine. "Morning" he murmurs, his voice husky with sleep. Unable to resist, I continue my playful banter. "Guess what? We have plans today" I announce, leaning in closer. "You're coming out with me". A hint of amusement dances in his eyes as he raises an eyebrow. "Oh? And what kind of plans might those be?". I flash him a playful grin. "Well, let's just say that if I have to endure the embarrassment of facing Charlie and the others after last night, then so do you" I declare with mock seriousness. Vox chuckles softly, his arms wrapping around me as he pulls me closer. "I suppose I can't argue with that" he concedes, his lips curving into a smile. "Lead the way, my love". With a shared smile, we begin to untangle ourselves from the sheets, ready to confront whatever the day may bring.

As we emerge from the room, fully dressed and composed, I can feel a flush creeping up my cheeks, anticipating the moment when everyone would inevitably realize what had transpired the night before. Sure enough, as we step into the lobby, the group turns their attention toward us. "Morning, you two!" Charlie greets us with a grin, her eyes twinkling. "Good morning, everyone" Vox responds smoothly, though I can sense a slight tension in his demeanor. For a moment, it seems as though our nocturnal activities might go unnoticed, but then Angel, ever the one to stir the pot, speaks up. "So, uh, how was the, uh, sleepover, you two?" he asks with a sly grin, his eyebrows waggling suggestively. My cheeks flare with embarrassment, and I shoot Angel a playful glare. "Oh, you know, just a typical night of restful sleep" I reply, trying to sound nonchalant despite the color in my cheeks. Vox chuckles beside me, his arm slipping around my waist as he leans in to whisper in my ear. "I think our secret's out" he murmurs with amusement. I can't help but laugh, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and fondness for the man at my side. It seems our night of passion would be the talk of the hotel, but in that moment, I couldn't bring myself to care.

As Angel's playful banter continues, I can feel my embarrassment growing with each teasing remark. "Come on, don't be shy," he chimes in, flashing a mischievous grin. "We're all adults here". I roll my eyes, shooting him a mock glare. "Yeah, well, some of us are more discreet than others" I retort, hoping to deflect some of the attention away from our personal affairs. Husk, ever the quiet observer, offers a sly smirk from his spot at the bar. "I'm not so sure that you can say you're discreet after last night" he comments, his tone laced with amusement. Vox chuckles beside me, his arm still draped casually around my waist. "Yeah... not our most subtle moment" he adds with a smirk, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Charlie, always quick to diffuse any tension, steps in with a playful grin. "Well, it looks like we've got a new power couple in the hotel" she declares, earning a round of chuckles from the group. I can't help but blush furiously at the attention, but deep down, I know there's nowhere else I'd rather be than by Vox's side. As the laughter subsides and the group begins to disperse, I shoot him a sideways glance, a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips. Despite the embarrassment, I couldn't deny that I was grateful for the love and warmth that surrounded me in that moment.

I glance at the clock hanging on the lobby wall and my eyes widen in alarm. "Angel, we need to get to the studio now or we're going to be late' I say, urgency lacing my tone as I turn to him. Angel nods, his expression matching my concern. "Right, let's not keep Val waiting" he agrees, already starting to move towards the exit. Meanwhile, Vox chimes in, his voice calm but determined. "I'll catch up with you later. Got a meeting with Val this afternoon" he says, flashing us a quick smile before heading off in the opposite direction. With that, Angel and I hurry out of the lobby, the urgency of the situation propelling us forward as we make our way to the studio, determined not to incur Val's wrath by being late. As we briskly walk towards the studio, I can't help but feel a tinge of nervousness about facing Val, especially considering our tardiness. "Hopefully Val's in a good mood today" I remark, trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah, let's hope so" Angel replies, his tone mirroring my apprehension. But then, true to form, he veers back into teasing territory. "So... last night, I'm surprised Vox hasn't written a how-to book on making you scream like that" he quips with a mischievous grin. I roll my eyes at his comment, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks. "Oh, shut up, Angel" I retort, playfully nudging him with my elbow. "You're just jealous you're not the one causing all the commotion". He laughs, throwing his arm around my shoulder. "Maybe I should take some lessons from Vox" he jokes, earning a playful smack on the arm from me in response. We continue bantering back and forth as we approach the studio, our lighthearted exchange helping to ease my nerves about facing Val.
