I looked up to see, the figure was approaching, his footsteps radiated confidence. Dressed in a sleek blue suit, that hugged his angular frame, he emitted an air of authority that commanded attention. As the figure drew closer, I couldn't help but stare in disbelief at the sight before me. A television in place of a head, its blue glow casting an otherworldly ambience around him. On the screen, a face, with a cyan blue smile, its pixelated features intriguing and unsettling. Did Valentino slip something in my drink, cause there is no way that man has a fucking TV for a head, I gotta pinch myself. "Valentino" the figure spoke, his voice smooth, a mechanical rasp that resonated with authority. "Mind if I join you?"

Valentinos expression softened ever so slightly as he gestured for him to take a seat. "Of course, Vox". As Vox settled into the booth, I couldn't tear my gaze away from the screen that served as his head. The surreal sight of a television for a head, it defied all logic, leaving me enchanted and unable to look away. Valentino noticed my fixation and arched an eyebrow, annoyance flashing across his features. "Is there something on my associate's face that captivates you?" he questioned, sarcasm lacing his voice. I quickly averted my gaze, feeling my cheeks flush. "Sorry", I quietly muttered. Vox remained silent; his expression unreadable. As the awkward silence lingered between us, I shifted in my seat, sensing that I needed to break the ice, I turned to Vox, attempting to make small talk. "So, Vox" I hesitantly start, "what brings you to this...establishment". His eyes flicker with a hint of amusement, "Business, mostly" he replied abruptly. I nodded, unsure of where to go from that, it was clear he wasn't a man for idle chatter.

Thankfully, Valentino intervened before the silence to stretch any longer. "Enough about business" he asserted, a charming smile gracing his face, "Let's focus on more... pleasurable matters, shall we?". As he finished his sentence, a waitress in a skimpy outfit, delivered an array of drinks to our table. Valentino looked up without a word and stared at me, a silent invitation or possibly a threat to take a drink. I picked up a colourful drink, not wanting to explore the latter. As the drinks flowed, so did the conversation, I found myself loosening up again. But as the night wore on and the hours passed by, that familiar feeling of unease began to slowly creep back. Sensing my own restlessness, I made a feeble attempt to excuse myself from the booth, my words wavered as I struggled to think of an excuse for why I needed to depart. Valentinos charming smile, disappeared for a moment, replaced with an angry grin. "Leaving so soon, my dear?" he inquired, his regular smile returning, but his voice conveying his disappointment.

I hesitated, unsure of how to respond. I turn to Vox, who remained silent, his gaze fixed on me, with a chilling intensity. It was apparent that my desire to leave, hadn't gone unnoticed. I forced a smile, trying to push down the sinking feeling in my stomach, "Just feeling a bit tired, that's all" I lied. Valentino continue to smile at me, his singular golden tooth, glistening, his eyes betraying his smile; were irritated. I resigned myself to staying a bit longer, I looked out into the club, anything to not look at Valentino. Though I longed to escape both of their watchful eyes, I decided to settle into my seat and put on a forced grin. As Vox and Valentino continued to engage in their conversation, the atmosphere grew more tense, I felt suffocated and trapped in their presence.

Just as I began to feel the walls closing in around me, a group of extremely intoxicated girls stumbled over to us. Their laughter filled the air with an energy that was intoxicating and suffocating. Valentinos smile faltered, replaced by a subtle grimace of annoyance as he was bombarded with their attention. Vox, shared Valentinos feelings, he was visibly irritated by the intrusion. Sensing an opportunity amidst the chaos, I slip away unnoticed, blending into the crowd of demons in front of us. As I made my escape, I felt an immense feeling of relief come over me, I made my way out of the exit, the sounds of laughter slowly drowning out. I start to walk down the filthy street, not sure of where my feet are taking me.
