The next morning, I stirred from a deep and restful slumber, the soft light filtering through the curtains signaling the start of a new day. Rolling over in bed, I found Vox still sound asleep beside me, his screen emitting a low hum. With a gentle kiss to his cheek, I slipped out of bed, the warmth of his embrace lingering on my skin. As I made my way through the familiar surroundings of Vox's house, a sense of anticipation tingled in the air, mingling with the uncertainty of what the day ahead would bring. After a quick shower and a bite to eat, I gathered my things and prepared to head out for another day at work. Despite the challenges and uncertainties that awaited me at Valentino's studio, I couldn't help but feel a sense of determination coursing through my veins. With one last glance back at Vox, still lost in dreams, I couldn't help but smile, knowing that no matter what the day had in store, I had his unwavering support and love to guide me through. With a deep breath, I stepped out into the bustling streets of the city, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, armed with nothing but determination and the knowledge that I was not alone.

As I made my way to work, the familiar sights and sounds of the city greeted me, a sense of purpose propelling me forward. Pulling out my phone, I quickly texted Charlie, letting her know that I would be back at the hotel tonight. Arriving at the studio, I noticed that Val's office was empty, a rare occurrence considering his usual penchant for micromanaging every aspect of the business. Shrugging off the oddity, I made my way to the admin office, settling in to start my day's work. Just as I began to delve into a pile of emails, the door to the office swung open, and in strode Valentino, his presence filling the room with an air of tension and unpredictability. His eyes bore into mine, a predatory gleam dancing in their depths. "Well, well, well" he purred, his voice dripping with mock congeniality. "If it isn't my loyal little assistant, hard at work as always". I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at his sarcastic tone, instead plastering on a polite smile. "Good morning, Valentino" I greeted, keeping my voice carefully neutral. He leaned against the doorframe, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips. "You know, I was just thinking about you" he continued, his voice low and suggestive. "I hope you haven't forgotten about our little chat yesterday". My stomach churned uneasily at the reminder of our altercation the day before, but I forced myself to maintain a calm façade. "Of course not" I replied evenly, doing my best to keep the apprehension out of my voice. "Is there something you need, Sir?". He chuckled darkly, his gaze never leaving mine. "Oh, there's plenty I need" he replied cryptically, his tone sending a shiver down my spine. "But for now, let's focus on getting some work done, shall we?".

Val's words hung in the air like a dark cloud, sending a chill down my spine. As he turned to leave, his parting words filled me with a sense of unease. "Oh, and darling" he purred, his voice dripping with insinuation. "I expect you to come see me in my office in an hour. I have a special task for you". The way he said it, so sultry and suggestive, sent a shiver of apprehension down my spine. I couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled like a weight in the pit of my stomach. "Sure" I managed to reply, my voice betraying none of the fear that churned inside me. "I'll be there". As he sauntered out of the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of task he had in store for me. And why did it have to sound so ominous? The uncertainty gnawed at me, leaving me feeling more anxious than ever before.

Taking a deep breath to steady my nerves, I finished up the last email on my list before making my way to Valentino's office. With each step, the sense of foreboding grew, like a heavy weight pressing down on my shoulders. Knocking lightly on the door, I waited for his response before stepping inside. Val looked up from his desk, a predatory smile curling his lips as he motioned for me to take a seat across from him. "Ah, there you are" he greeted, his voice oozing with false charm. "Please, have a seat". I obliged, perching on the edge of the chair, my muscles tense with anticipation. "What did you need, Val?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady despite the rising tide of anxiety within me. Val leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together as he regarded me with a calculating gaze. "I have a special task for you" he began, his tone low and conspiratorial. My heart sank at his words, the fear bubbling up inside me like a tidal wave. "What kind of task?" I ventured, my voice barely above a whisper.
