The kiss may have been brief but the sparks that were felt between them was amazing. When they separated both women wore smiles on their faces. It was Lena who spoke first. "That was...nice!" She stated. "Yea it was...but I think we should probably eat now..." Kara stammered. Lena looked at her biting her lip. "Yes..I agree." Lena replied with a smile. They sat a little closer than before as they ate their lunch together.

"So? When do you think the article will be out?" Lena asked. "Oh...that'll be up to Snapper, unless Miss Grant pushes it through quicker. It could be out tomorrow morning." Kara replied with a smile. It was in that moment that Lena first felt the first drops of love fill her body. They finished their meals and Kara tossed the trash out into the bin before picking up her bag and walking towards the door. "Well...today was fun." Kara stated looking at Lena. "Yea...I had a wonderful time. We should do this again. And maybe dinner sometime?" Lena asked hoping for a 'yes' to roll off the beautiful lips of Kara Danvers.

"I'd like that Lena. However I'm due to go back home this weekend, and I know we don't know each other that well or anything but..and I'll understand if you can't take the time off but if you'd like to come with Alex and I you'd be more then welcome to....but...it would be nice if you did...." Kara continued rambling. "Kara!" Lena exclaimed grabbing the blondes shoulders. "I'd love to come with you, however I'd have to check in with my friend and CFO, because I'm supposed to do something with her and her daughter." Lena replied with a smile. "Oh? Well they can come along too if they want. I'm sure Eliza wouldn't mind!" Kara explained. "Ok, I'll ask her and I'll text you later. What are you doing later?" Lena asked.

"After work, I'm gonna go to my apartment and probably order in some food and watch tv. Why do you ask?" Kara questioned. "Well...if you want some company with your take away and movie...I'd be more than happy to come over." Lena replied. "Ok! Come over around say six? I'll text you my address. I've really got to go now or I'll never hear the end of it." Kara replied. "It's quite alright! Go before you get into more trouble. Just text me when you get back to your office." Lena called as Kara walked towards the elevator.

Once Kara was out of sight Lena shut her office door and let out a loud squeal before returning to her own work.
