Every day that work week went the same for the little family. Liam would spend mornings with Kara and afternoons with Lena. However today was Friday which meant once again Liam was in Kara's office getting loved up by one very enthusiastic older cousin Ruby who was shadowing Kara for the day as apart of her 'Future Careers Day' at her middle school. "What made you want to pick coming here?" Kara asked. "Well I already know how mom and Alex do their jobs, and Aunt Lena's basically the same as mom's job...and well I figured this way I'd get to spend time with you and follow you around to your afternoon meetings after Liam goes to Aunt Lena's office." Ruby replied.

"Oh ok. You know it's gonna be a little boring though, just so you know." Kara replied. "That's ok, I don't mind. Is it ok if I ask questions though?" Ruby asked. "Of course! My board knows you're here for the day so they're ready to answer any questions you have."  Kara replied. "Ok!" Ruby replied as she continued to play with Liam. "Mrs. Danvers...Cat Grant is here to see you." Jane said. "Of course let her in." Kara replied.

"Kara! And two tiny people...how are you?" Cat asked. "Good, this is my niece Ruby and my son Liam." Kara replied. "A son? When did this happen?" Cat asked. "A few months ago." Kara replied. "And the niece?" Cat asked. "My sister's engaged to Ruby's mom." Kara replied. "Ah well I'm glad you've made a perfect little family for yourself. And I must admit I like what you've done to my old office." Cat replied.

Cat only stayed a few minutes longer. Just long enough to hold Liam once before he made a noise. Kara took him after that and put him in his swing. After Cat took her leave Kara took her time to show Ruby how she spent her day. She went over paperwork that she had to sign, she took Ruby to the media department while Jane watched over Liam. Kara took her time explaining how the magazine was put together from a cover photo to the boring articles. "This is so fascinating Aunt Kara!" Ruby replied as she watched from a large window as the magazine was put together by large machines below her. "Isn't it. We used other ship it out to have it printed but when I became CEO I had this part built on and was able to save 300% and hire on 30,000 people to run the machines, drive trucks, and ship the magazine all over the world." Kara explained.

Around noon Kara loaded Liam and Ruby into the suv so they could head to Lena's office for lunch with her and Sam. "Do we have to stop  and get food?" Ruby asked. "No Jess has already ordered us some sandwiches." Kara replied. Ruby nodded and looked out the window. A few minutes later the trio were inside the elevator heading to Lena's office. "Is mom meeting us?" Ruby asked. "Yes, she is." Kara replied with a smile.

As soon as they walked inside the office Lena immediately took Liam into her arms before placing a kiss on her wife's cheek. "Hello everyone! I hope you're hungry, Jess has ordered a lot of sandwiches." Lena said. "That's ok, I'm hungry. Aunt Kara took me around Cat Co to see everything." Ruby replied. "Ah yes! How is your shadowing going?" Lena asked. "It's amazing! Aunt Kara has a lot of stuff going on all at one time. I especially like how she managed to hire so many people in the printing and shipping room." Ruby replied.

"Well I'm glad to see you're having a good time Rubes!" Sam said from where she stood in the doorway. "Mom!" Ruby exclaimed as she walked over and hugged her. "Sandwiches are here!" Jess said as she brought in multiple bags of them. "Thank you Jess!" Kara said with a smile. "You're welcome! Is he sleeping?" Jess asked her eyes glazing over Liam. "No he's awake actu.." Kara was cut off by Jess scurrying over to Liam and plucking him into her arms.
